Relaxing Cabin in the heart of Red Feather Lakes!!
Come and enjoy a relaxing cabin!! Enjoy the million dollars view!! Our cabins are located in the prime center of Redfeather lakes, within seconds from one of the many beautiful bodies of water up there. Each cabin coming with its own full bathroom as well as full kitchen to ensure you have everything you need at your new home away from home. Our lovely cabins are attached to the town store as well, were they serve ice cream, liquor store, grocery and many more amenities.
Check in was a breeze with Linda who greeted us at the door. The best surprise upon arrival was the antique shop & snack shack in the parking lot! Our room was clean & just as described. Linda was easily the best part of our stay. She was so kind and accommodating!
It's says 1 min to lake and it's private so we didn't get to fish. The plumbing was bad and there was food in the microwave. The floors were dirty and literally gross, we had to keep shoes on. Not happy it's false advertisement.
Cute cabin, super nice people and a great location!
The cabin is small and attached to others, but is very cute and clean. The staff at the Hilltop they manage the cabins are super friendly! They're located right in town and walking distance to everything.
We had a great stay and we will be staying here again!
I just needed to get away for a couple days. I felt safe and comfortable and it's a great price. The people were very friendly and I really enjoyed playing fetch with Toby the dog. I would happily stay here again!
No one to meet us for check in or to give us the key. Had to shovel snow cause wife is handicap and i didn't want her to fall.Very little heat cab was 30 degrees inside,tv didn't work, no bar b que grills, dishes, and pots not available, all were extremely dirty. Had to call the host three times to get access to the cabin.carpet trip hazard,
This is really a camping, "roughing it", type of cabin. If youre looking for a resort type of cozy cabin this isnt the place. Bathroom door didnt close, tiny old scary shower, no sink in bathroom, no window coverings in bathroom, loud, could hear everything in next room. Cabin is old and very outdated. Fine for a "roughing it" fishing trip but not a cozy cabin for relaxing stay.
Very cozy and comfortable. We were there alittle bit early and Marci let us check in early also. If we needed anything, all we had to fo was ask . The bathroom was pretty small, but it is a cabin so why would you need it to be like a spa.. It was plenty big enough.
I stayed for 5 nights with my eldest son for the week of Thanksgiving for a late season CO hunt. The owner Marci couldn't have been more accommodating and nice to my son and I. If you are looking for a nice, clean room to stay in Red Feather and a reasonable rate, this is your place! Thank you, Marci!
The room and location are great. Did not like the manger there. She came out at night and yelled at my kids. For making to much noise but it was only 10:30pm. Not going to stay there again.
The hosts were friendly offering access to the Hilltop store after hours, and bringing breakfast to me in the morning.
The location of the property and gazebo on Lake Hiawatha are excellent for Red Feathers.
The bathrooms look like a handyman special with mismatched walls, and odd pipes in the shower. The front door green on one side purple on the other.
We stayed two nights. We came to the area to do some scouting for future hunting trips. The new owners are friendly and enthusiastic. The cabins were needing some updates but they are in the process of updating them now. They've enlarged and updated the bathrooms. Installed new flooring and painting. What they have finished is very nice.
Small, outdated, latch job studio for too much money. Next time I will stay in a hotel to avoid all the fees. Vacation rentals are starting to be a rip off.
Do studios get a cheaper cleaning fee because there was not much to clean???
The man checking me in was very nice and he
The owners/attendees were very nice and accommodating! The actual cabin was warm and cozy and had a great TV with great reception and the beds were very comfortable! The biggest issue we had was the septic smell that came from the kitchen sink and shower drains. The smell was so bad at times it was making us nauseous. There were flies when we first got there in the window. We killed them all and then a little while later there were more. Our stay was two nights and the flies kept showing up. Iâm guessing it was from the septic tank. There wasnât a bathroom sink so we brushed our teeth and washed our hands in the kitchen sink and there were very thin walls. We could hear the voices and sounds from the next cabin.
The lake and surrounding area is beautiful and there are a couple fun shops within walking distance.
This property was listed as a 1 bedroom 800 square foot cabin. It is not. About the size of a larger hotel room, maybe 400 sf. Two beds upon entry (no separate bedroom). Tiny bath toilet/shower, no sink. No shelves in the shower. Lights above the (very comfortable) loveseat had no lightbulbs. One bed was comfortable enough but the other was more of a metal frame fold up bed with a thin mattress. Linens were clean and the kitchen had everything for cooking a meal. I don't mind rustic and brushing my teeth in the kitchen but was glad it was just me. The couple that owns this place are lovely and could probably use a bit more help. The surrounding area was beautiful and I would consider another (solo) stay knowing what I know. I stayed over Memorial weekend but the price should still have been less considering what was advertised and the reality.
There were definitely some positive as well as negative feelings. Marci and staff were outstanding make sure we had everything we needed. They came to our cabin to make sure the cable was working. WiFi was iffy. One of my high points in any vacation is the ambience. So if you don't mind sitting outside your cabin and looking at a parking lot then you will be fine. But they have a gazebo a few yards away facing the lake that is nice for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. We had great walks with our dog around the lake. The downfall for the cabin is the bathroom. It is in desperate need of a remodel. I didn't even want to use the shower. The only sink is the kitchen sink but no big deal. Location was good for alittle shopping within walking distance. And a few miles away is Marr's Tavern - nice patio looking over the lake, and the pizza was awesome!
The property was nothing like was shown online.I refused to stay. I asked for a refund. I was told I would receive a FULL refund, to which I have NOT received. I was given a partial refund. I called and asked about it again and was assured Iâd get the FULL refund. Still did not get. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The cabin had dirty bath towels on a chair when we walked in. There was a puddle of water in the floor. When my husband pulled back the comforter to look, the sheets had stuff of them that he brushed off. The shower was horrible. Hopes were not even inside the wall. The shower had supposedly been recently remodeled.
