Charming vacation rental

The house was clean, cute, and comfortable. We felt very safe walking around the neighborhood in the evenings, and enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants and grocery stores.

Great spot, great host!

This was the perfect spot for my family to stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. Amy, the host, made the check-in and check-out process seamless. The house was spotless and well stocked. My sister-in-law, who stayed there, said it was the nicest rental they have experienced.

Great Stay

Every aspect of the stay was great. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The host were very responsive, as we did have a minor need which required their attention. I would look for this availability next time we come to Chicago.

A Perfect Place

We found this home to be absolutely lovely for our vacation. My in-laws came together to stay and we had plenty of space to visit both inside and outside. We slept great. The house was clean, and we found everything we needed for cooking and eating together. The host was very helpful and the neighborhood was beautiful and safe. We loved this place!

Great Place to stay on the South side!

This is a great place to stay on the Southside of the city! The neighborhood is pretty and quiet! We were close to public transportation and the train to go into downtown. The house is very nice and comfortable. It was a great place for us to be able to have our own space while we attended reunions and visited with friends. Just Perfect!

Weekend away with friends

Host was over the top with making it as smooth and easy as possible for check in esp. coming from out of state. Checked in with tenants throughout the stay to make sure everything was going smoothly and if we needed anything! Great place, amazing host.

Great Stay

We stayed here for four nights while visiting family in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. Location was great--quiet street but convenient to major roads and walkable to restaurants, playground, and Oak Lawn Children's Museum which my kids loved. The house was clean and exactly as described. The back deck was a major plus and the side yard was nice too. Overall this house was perfect for our family and we will look to stay here again next time we're in the Chicago area!

Family time

We had a wonderful time staying here! Amy is a wonderful host! Her house is very clean, and well appointed. We had everything we needed. Excellent neighborhood; safe, quiet, parks, restaurants…all right there! Attentive to details, Amy was very prompt anytime that I contacted her. We would absolutely rent from her again! I had the most enjoyable 4 night stay in this property. I came with my wife and 5 children, to visit my sister and her family. My niece and nephew came and stayed with us ( 9 people total) and we were all able to enjoy the stay. The house is very cozy and family like. It includes all necessities, and the neighborhood felt very safe since it was near a police station. Absolutely recommend this property to whoever wants to enjoy a stay in Chicago.

perfect spot between Midway and Hollywood Casino Ampitheater

A friend and I were meeting in Chicago to go to a concert and this placed checked all the boxes. Super cute updated house on quiet block. Lots of nice amenities. Just be aware that the door locks on its own when you leave after a minute - we were confused by that (thought it wasn't going to lock) but that was it. You can walk to a couple pubs and restaurants there too. If you cook, be aware no dishwasher.

Charming home near Midway

This was a great find for a family weekend in Chicago. It was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with good a/c and good security. It has a very large back deck where we felt like we could get away from the noise of the city. Suggestions for improvement: both bedrooms need dressers and mirrors. There is only one mirror in the house and it is above the sink in the bathroom.

Comfortable and convenient - great for family’s wuth kids

We’ve stayed at many VRBOs and this was by far one of our best experiences. Amy’s house was clean, spacious, comfortable and fully stocked with so many extra conveniences (cookware, iron, plenty of laundry supplies, vacuum and cleaning supplies, kids board games, movies, and the list goes on). We have young children and they loved the attic space with trundle beds. The location in Oak Lawn was also very convenient with shops, grocery stores, great restaurants and playgrounds nearby. Amy was very responsive to questions and the check in process was easy. Highly recommend!

Nice location for a visit back home...

My family lives in Oak Lawn and this was a great way to stay close to the family while visiting from out of town. And a great location to just walk to some of our favorite restaurants/bars. Pictures on VRBO show an extra bed in one of the rooms but it was not there... the outside area needs some TLC (the deck was great but the side and front really need the TLC)... and the stairs to get to the front door are very narrow and makes it hard to get in and out if you have any mobility issues. It was a hot week so not sure if the fridge has any issues or if it was just having a hard time keeping things cold.

Perfect for Families

My family of 7 stayed here for a week while visiting Chicago. The house is in good shape and more than accommodated all of us. It is about a block from the Oak Lawn police station and about 3 blocks from the Metra station. Amy the property contact was very helpful and communicated clearly with us about the property needs and expectations. The only issue we encountered during our stay was that the metra train from oak lawn does not operate on the weekend. Obviously that is not a concern with the property but is important information if you’re planning on using it. Overall stay was extremely comfortable and absolutely perfect for us.

Oak Lawn stay

We had a wonderful stay in tis well maintained home. We rented this home so we would have a place to entertain our family who traveled from Madrid, Spain. The have three young children who we kept entertained at a beautiful little park behind the local library. The owner brought a new umbrella the second day to keep us shaded on the back deck which was really appreciated. My sister in law, who is a real estate broker, was highly impressed with what she called a home staging look. This place is so close to many fine eating and drinking establishments and there is also a children Museum and ice cream shop next door three blocks away. You cant go wrong renting this place in a quite neighborhood. This is on top of my list for a return visit. Home is fully stocked with cooking utensils and spices for in home cooking pleasure.
