I booked a stay for a reading retreat with my book club - there were 9 of us and we absolutely LOVED the house. The host was easy to communicate with and helpful. The pictures are accurate and for 9 adults, we didn't have any problems with the sleeping arrangements. I would love to book a another stay since we didn't get to use the bonfire space (it rained a lot) or the hot tub! My only suggestion would be for a long table on the patio because outdoor dining with that view would be AMAZING!! Thanks for a fantastic stay!

So much potential

The day we arrived it was raining but then started to hail so driving up the steep hill was very scary (even scarier leaving) the cleaning lady was still inside cleaning so my sister and her family had to sit in in their vehicle during the hail storm. Finally when I arrived 10 minutes later I walked in trying to locate the lady to let her know we were all going to come in due to it being past check in time and the storm outside was lightning and just not safe for us to stay in our vehicles. We had just arrived after long drives some over 8 hours and some over 6 hours. She had dirty towels, the floors were not cleaned downstairs yet, bathroom rugs were dirty, fridge was not cleaned the chess board downstairs looks like it hasn’t been touched since the day they installed it. She left and didn’t take the full trash bags by the front door and I had to clean the fridge in order to put anything in it. When I opened the fridge I noticed tape on the fridge door inside. Like the tape for wrapping presents. When I closed the fridge door I noticed I could see inside of it. It wasn’t sealing so all meat went bad 2 days later. Finally I got a response. They did pay me back for the meat. The board outside on deck was not screwed in and unsafe but no one fixed it. Only 1 shower at a time because no water pressure. Master bed is broken and the lower level is an icebox. The vacuum is broken they have no hangers and bring your own laundry stuff. Couch and chair were also broken.
