Lewisburgâs Southern Bell, a charming bungalow with a Southern feel!
This charming bungalow is located blocks from downtown Lewisburg in the Graham district of Lewisburg, WV. And as you might guess from the name, this bungalow is infused with southern charm from great art work right down to comfortable beds and monogrammed linens!!!
The House had so many thoughtful touches and we had everything we needed. The pictures make the house look nice, but it is even nicer in person. The bedrooms are bright and beautifully decorated. We would happily stay here again.
A well-appointed and artfully decorated ranch house on a leafy, quiet residential street, close ti everything that the Lewisburg area has to offer. The host was attentive and helpful. I would be happy to stay here again.
We absolutely LOVED this home! It was so beautifully decorated and warm/welcoming! The beds were comfortable-fabulous linens! The kitchen was well-stocked. The location was ideal for our weekend getaway in Historic Lewisburg. Great neighborhood for morning/evening walks. We HIGHLY recommend this home!
Using the red lined path, it was a half mile walk to the downtown area and plenty of shops/restaurants. got a reservation at the french goat which was very nice (get the burger)
the place was very nice and clean and plenty of towels etc. the artwork was very interesting (in a good way).
Keurig coffee machine for morning coffee a plus and they even provided some pods.
got some firewood for the firepit but didn't use as in a weird location at the end of driveway somewhat close to the neighbors--. Which i couldn't tell from the pictures.
overall, would say it is a great place to stay
We loved our stay! It was very clean and comfy. Made you feel like being home. Very well decorated and the bed was so comfortable. Top of the line linens and bedding. Plus several mirrors in different rooms and my wife loved that. We were very impressed and definitely would stay here again.
Nicely furnished with some antiques. Beds were too soft for me. Also the bathroom has an unusual layout making it difficult to maneuver using the commode or sink. Neighboring houses were extremely close.
Lewisburg WV is a wonderful destination for all ages. Lots of outdoor activities in Greenbrier County and adjoining Pocahontas County from hiking, biking, water activities, historical sites, scenic drives, etc. This charming home is decorated to provide comfort and style. The neighborhood is very quiet, a 15-minute walk to downtown. Lewisburg offers a surprising amount of excellent dining options and fun shopping.Highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful stay. They house was decorated beautifully. Very cozy. Large rooms. Lots of seating. Comfy beds. Outdoor seating. Safe neighborhood. Walking trail nearby. Would definitely stay again!
Beautifully appointed home, with luxurious bedding, furniture and art. Easy access to downtown Lewisburg dining and shopping. Lots of lovely touches- snacks and things easily forgotten are supplied. Communication was excellent. We will absolutely stay again!
The properties listing does not do it justice. The home is absolutely perfect. Location to the amenities.
Have stayed places in the past, but I believe this is the best one.
Thank you Anna for everything. We will come back again and again.
Property was exactly as described and Anna, oue hostess had stocked everything we needed. She is excellent and if we are ever back in the Lewisburg W. VA area we hope she has availability at this property. It was perfect for a family of 3. We were all amazed at how immaculate this property presented. It was listed as newly decorated and it certainly exhibited excellence in every respect. If we could rate it higher than 5 stars we would certainly do so.
Came in for a graduation weekend. So beautiful. Comfortable bed. Fabulous coffee and snacks upon arrival. The shower was wonderful! I canât say enough great things about this stay!
Upon arrival, the home has great curb appeal with ample parking for both off street and on street. Itâs a quiet neighborhood and a nice location. Is it a block from the restaurants? No. Is it walkable? Absolutely. The house was spotless and had an OVERLY-sufficient supply of everything. I was trying to make sure I didnât forget this or that before leave, and when I arrived, I saw that all the things I thought was needed is already available. From everything to a toothbrush to contact solution, the owner has you covered.
The bedrooms were large enough and the beds and pillows extremely comfortable. I travel with âGoldilocksâ who can never find a pillow thatâs âjust right.â Iâm almost positive she has 4 of them in her online cart at this very moment. The living room has a streaming source (Roku) and was plenty for all our needs for the stay. And, for those who might want to work while you stay, the internet hit over 410 Mbps on speed test which is more than enough for the majority.
The outdoor area is great. I wish more people could have came so we could all have sat by the firepit. But it was cozy enough for just the two of us and our Smores.
The stay was great and the food and shopping nearby was fantastic. Donât be fooled by the âgreenâ inn at the next exit. You can stay here and still go for dinner! Bella the corner gourmet is a must stop. Also, if you have time and interest, the Smooth Ambler distillery is just down the road. Ashley and Pat will make you feel at home.
We enjoyed a girls weekend
in Lewisburg Wv and your home was quaint and very convenient.
One of our friends was unable to make it so we did not need the 3rd bedroom but if we had there didnât seem to be sheets or blankets for the daybed. Just an FYI for the next guest.
Welcoming and comfortable! Living room with gas fireplace perfect for evenings "in" but walkable distance to downtown Lewisburg for shopping and dinner out. Great long weekend location.
Southern Bell is exactly as shown in the description. Tastefully decorated, if you forgot something, Anna probably has it stocked in the house! Comfy beds with extra blankets and pillows, soft towels and a great location with a little outside area including a firepit! We had a great weekend and the fall weather was perfect. Thank you Anna for being a wonderful host!
This is a awesome location right in the middle of everything. The house is awesome. The owner was very informative. Easy to communicate with. I will definitely rent again when coming to Lewisburg for a stay.
Hi! My name is Anna and I have always loved to play house. Perhaps this is why I chose a career in the furniture and fabric industry. I love entertaining, pretty things, great art, beautiful linens and a sprinkling of antiques!!
This bungalow is located in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Lewisburg, WV called the Graham District. Its very family oriented, very safe and within walking distance to downtown!
This bungalow, built in the 1950's was renovated in 2019 with a completely renovated kitchen and updated bath. In addition to a renovated kitchen with new appliances , we have a new AC system and a tankless hot water system so that you never have to have a cold shower. The house also reflects my "southern hospitality" with a few nibbles waiting on your arrival and a supply of things like toothbrushes or other personal items that you accidentally forgot to pack!
