One of the largest cabins around Buffalo Point that sleeps up to 15.
Brand new 7 person Hot Tub (water drained after each stay).
Huge wrap around porch with swing and rocking chairs. Just minutes from the Buffalo River and less than .2 miles to the canoe rental outfitters. Perfect location for small or large groups.
The cabin is beautiful. We had plenty of room inside and out. It was fairly clean. Some garbage disposal smells, but overall it was very nice. There were plenty of towels/ toiletries and dishes. Everyone enjoyed the front porch swing and games.
Property was clean and large enough for our family friends to stay together while hiking in the area. Arcade games were a hit with the kids and adults!
our family enjoyed our time at the cabin, it was raining during our stay .There was not much to do indoors around the area the cabin is great for big groups. very close to buffalo river we will probably come back in the summer. our kids enjoyed the hot tub the day that was not raining.
Rustic and accommodating. Wildlife are everywhere and almost walking distance from canoe rentals and shuttle to the river. Side note the front porch is perfect for a baggo or cornhole tournament.
Big Buffalo was just perfect! Our group of four adults enjoyed how clean and spacious this cabin was. My wife and I chose the basement area bedroom and our friend couple took the main floor bedroom. We had our own separate spaces and didnât have to worry about disturbing each other if someone wanted to get a little extra sleep or take a nap. The hot tub was a great bonus. We spent several evenings soaking with a lot of laughs and enjoying each othersâ company. Overall it was a great first time lodging in Arkansa for our group. Definitely will do this again!
Neat cabin, close to hiking and water access with beautiful views. Cabin can accomodate a large crowd and was well stocked with kitchen items and clean. Will definitely stay again if in the area.
Cabin was a great location to where we floated at. We all had a great time until rashes on the day we checked out started appearing on the kids⊠we did contact Jay and he was very nice. The hot tub was dirty and do think that is what caused the rashes. We didnât have check out instructions but did let Jay know and he knew it was something he hadnât clicked since they had put it back on VRBO and was going to fix that.
Get together weekend with extended family. The cabin worked just fine. Looks like the owners are in the process of remodeling as bathrooms look like they just got an upgrade recently! It rained the whole weekend, so we didnât get to hike like we planned, but it gave us plenty of inside time to chat and watch football. Living area could use more lamps (overhead glares on TV) and kitchen needs more mixing/serving bowls. We had a great time.
Kristen grew up in Yellville and we both love the Buffalo River. We spend many summer days floating, camping, and hiking with our children. Kristenâs great-great grandfather Doc Dillard owned the Dillardâs Ferry before the Hwy 14 bridge was built. He also owned 100âs of acres surrounding the River which is now National Park land. The Buffalo River is a treasure we hope you enjoy.
We are thrilled to have you stay with us at the Big Buffalo cabin (a piece of family history) and make many unforgettable memories.
One of the largest cabins on the lower Buffalo River and one of the first cabins outside of the National Park. We can sleep up to 20 and have a large (7-person) hot tub on private back patio.
