It was a great place to come back to after a long day in the barn preparing and showing cows. Quick to get to and super comfortable. We would stay there again!
We had a great stay in this cozy little home. The house was nicely appointed, very well cared for and the location was wonderful. Kimberly was easy to work with and responsive. I gave four stars for check-in because we got into the house an hour later than promised. Apparently, there was a VRBO issue and not our host. Kimberly walked us through coding and re-coding of the keypad until we were able gain access to the property. I would definitely recommend a stay in this home to anyone visiting Stillwater.
Both the property and host were amazing! The house was so clean, neighbors were friendly & just a perfect place for our visit to OSU. Itâs walking distance or a 3-block drive to everything! Truly a gem all around and we will be back for sure in the future.
Major Issues: Cold, Uncomfortable, No Space for Unpacking anywhere, and shabby neighborhood.
Little space: I'll get right to it:The house was freezing throughout our extended 10 day stay in winter weather. (Lows in 20s.) Adjusting the thermostat was an ongoing battle with an invisible controller as it kept reverting to a shivery 67 degrees. Suggestion: take the controls OFF the thermostat and let guests be comfortable. These were cold, cloudy days with no sun warmth either. The house is not well insulated and does not warm up easily. Then it gets turned back to 67 and we're literally shivering as the house is just COLD. Shabby neighborhood, not evident in photos. Surrounded by houses in various stages of run-downness. Broken up sidewalks that are treacherous. Overall very undesirable neighborhood that made us very uncomfortable. Antique appliances. Literally. 1950s wall oven from Sears Kenmore, ancient dishwasher. No garbage disposal. Washer/dryer are decent. Kitchen had no dish rack, no dish soap, no sponges. I bought a dish drying mat for frequently used items like mugs and coffee pot. Reading lamps in bedrooms all battery operated, and not one was working. Had to buy batteries to have light besides overhead. NO place to unpack: 2 closets were jammed with storage spilling out. We had to buy hangers to squeeze in.No dressers. What little space there was had clutter like fake plants on them. Awful chemical plug in deodorizers all over. Toxic. Unplugged.Host demands paying guests do laundry for them. Host wants to communicate off VRBO.
This is a great little house super close to the OSU campus. Itâs really easy to get to which was helpful because we arrived very late at night. It was clean and just like the pictures. Great host with lots of âthings you may forgetâ available to guests.
We booked this house to get my daughter moved into her dorm at OSU. This house was super close to the school, near great places to eat, shopping, and anything else we needed to this past weekend! Cute older home, large bathroom, nice kitchen, comfortable beds, full size washing machine/dryer, large tv, & comfy furniture.
Located in a quiet, older neighborhood and there are so many beautiful trees in the area - lots of greenery which we don't see much of in our hometown.
The house was very comfortable and met our needs fantastically. There were some small issues we encountered. We tried to find a toaster in the kitchen, but there didnât seem to be one. That was disappointing. The faucets put out a brownish water. Old pipes perhaps? The lights on the headboards above the beds are battery operated and the batteries seemed to be dead because the lights werenât working. As noted, small issues. We loved our stay and the above mentioned had a minimal impact on our visit. We would definitely recommend to others and will likely be back.
I was coming for a sporting event at OSU, and the location is absolutely perfect. The house is so cute, completely updated and has cute touches everywhere. Thereâs two nice bedrooms and even a nice back porch space that you could sit outside and enjoy. The communication was wonderful! I highly recommend!
The house was so close to the campus that we had no trouble at all, making it to all the events that we were visiting for. The house was very clean and comfortable, and we would definitely come and stay again for future events in Stillwater!
Very cute, clean, well-maintained house in a very quiet neighborhood. We walked from the house to an OSU basketball game and walked to downtown for dinner. Great location! Host was very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend.
Kimberly was wonderful and very accommodating when I mixed up the reservation and arrived a day early. Had a wonderful stay and appreciated the cleanliness of the house. Highly recommend!
Not what was expected according to the advertisement?
Iâm a frequent renter and my daughter owns a new house that she rents out in Tennessee, my first issue was with the âinsuranceâ that was required or the hold on my credit card. This put the price way above what I would consider anywhere near reasonable for this property after I saw it and where it was located. There were roaches in the kitchen drawer and in the kitchen cabinets on a sticky pad. The bathroom sink and tub barely drained. There was only service for four people- 4 cups , 4 plates silverware for four etc. we had Christmas dinner there and had to go buy things that I expected would be available for cooking such as a potato peeler and masher. Sponge to wash the dishes. Not well equipped for cooking. Only 2 pots. The guest information includes a lot of information about the town but you need to add more information about the house. Information on the Wi-Fi, what you sent me for the password was incorrect but what was in the book was correct. Need to include information on the cable and thermostat. Suggest you get more plates, silverware and cups and please clean out the roach traps. Also, the two drawers that are unusable just need the handles changed out to knobs to be usable. We are responsible & respectful guests and take pride in caring for others property as if it were our own. I was misled by the advertisement for this property and the price paid due to the location and cleanliness. We cleaned the floors and left the items we bought for cleaning.
Property is as advertised! Cute little home with amenities. Was able to play a few card games (provided by owner) while winding down after our first day of partially moving my daughter into her dorm room. Will be looking to book again the next time we have an overnight stay!
Property easy to get to and short distance to downtown Stillwater and OSU campus. House and furnishings are very eye appealing. Great job of remodeling. Owner was easy to get in contact with and seemed very pleasant.
Will recommend this VRBO to anyone we know that will be visiting Stillwater. And, we will certainly stay here again.

We loved our stay at Kikiâs place. The owner was very responsive and made the place very welcoming with snacks, a comfortable living room space, a laundry/desk area, an outdoor firepit, a tv with access to Netflix and Prime. We felt very comfortable here and would highly recommend it.
I have been in Real Estate for 23 years, and have a degree in Interior Design. Now I am in that time of my life to do what I enjoy. I like to travel, fish, outdoor activities, and I love the beach! We have enjoyed staying in airbnbs and decided to do our own.
