The rental was very clean, check-in was seamless, and the location was excellent, with restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance. Although the neighborhood is older, it felt safe during our stay.There are a few things future guests should be aware of. While the listing states it sleeps 4–6 guests, the sleeping arrangements include one full bed, one queen bed, and a thin air mattress for the fifth and sixth guests. The bathroom also has an accordion partition instead of a door, which may be a privacy concern depending on your group.Finally, the listed rate includes only two guests. Additional guests are charged 15 per person, per night as part of the host fees. This wasn't clearly disclosed in the house rules, so it's worth noting before booking.

The host was very accommodating and quick to return my reply to my question. The house was nice and cozy. I went grocery shopping and forgot to get some seasonings and he had some in the cabinet. Will be staying there again

If people who pay to say at VRBO’s or ABnB’s can’t get confidentiality rights against the renters for our fair and honest ratings, you will never have accurate representation of listings. The property is in an ok location. It was fairly clean except for a hair tie found with hair on it under the bed. It was well appointed and had what we needed but there are some things that need to be addressed to make this property acceptable. Some of the tiles in the shower are falling off and the shower is a step down into. Therefore there needs to be shower grips in it to make it safe. I see from another guest that this was pointed out in 2024 and not addressed. There is a sign hanging on a tree out front that states you can’t park there by order of police, but it’s fake. However we’re glad we didn’t park out front because a day later a tree fell on a truck right next door to the sign. Where to park is ambiguous at best. We figured it out and then we were fine. The owner has a digital thermostat and although we set it to 72 degrees it went back up to 74 every night making it very toasty at night. This property sleeps four. Unless you count an air mattress. And the washing machine leaks all over the floor as well as someone leaving their laundry in both the washer and dryer both times we went to use it. The property did not give me a vacation type of feel. Due to these factors I’m giving it a solid three stars which I feel is being generous. The owner needs to address these concerns.

The shower tile is something we are aware of and plan to address, and we'll also evaluate your suggestion regarding additional shower safety features. Regarding the laundry left behind, we apologize for that inconvenience. Since the laundry area is shared, we encourage guests to let us know during their stay so we can have it removed promptly. For parking, we provide instructions before arrival, but we'll review them to make sure they're as clear as possible. The sign you referenced is not installed by us, and we're unable to control neighboring properties or city signage. Regarding the thermostat, guests have full control over the temperature during their stay. We did not receive any messages about the temperature while you were here, and we would have been happy to assist had there been an issue. We appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving the experience for future guests.

Comfortable stay

We were very pleased with our stay, it was great location for visiting with family. I like to walk along the river and it was a quick short drive to meet up with friends. Very quiet neighborhood. ( we probably made noise for them, my little grandsons can be loud! lol). Would recommend to others.

Our stay was wonderful, and it was so clean . The location was good, for our travel purposes I would of stayed closer to were my daughter's house was. But highly recommended staying here, super cute. Quite neighborhood and family friendly.

Walking distance to the Main Street with many food options!We enjoyed the front porch a lot, even visited with the couple staying upstairs!The beds were comfy after our long day. Perfect for our stay

I stayed in the lower unit with my husband and daughter during our trip home to visit with family. The apartment was clean and had all the basic essentials. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the squirrels!

Perfect 1 Night Stay

The property was perfect for our needs. We needed a spot to stay while doing a day trip into Canada to see Niagara Falls. The host was amazing from start to finish. Everything was exactly as described. There is lots to do nearby and great food too! We would definitely use this host and location again if ever back this way.
