Everything was wonderful! Ivy is a fantastic person to deal with. We had everything we needed plus. The deck is great, seating for everyone! Us girlfriends enjoyed ourselves very much for our 2025 trip. Thank you, Ivy
We came for an ice fishing trip on Peach Lake. The property was very nice. I imagine it would be a very nice place in the summer. Host was very responsive with my questions/requests. Would recommend for a small group or family.
This is a really great place! The location is wonderful! It is right on Peach Lake, with a view of the sunset. The house is very spacious with three bedrooms and two full baths. It is in a nice area that is not far from town, yet far enough away to be out of the main downtown. Communication with Ivy the owner was super easy. We will be back!
Ivy's place was perfect! Our group had a wonderful time on Peach Lake. Neighbors were friendly, the water was beautiful, and house was perfect for Memorial Day weekend! Thank you again for the awesome stay, Ivy!!
This property was just as it was listed! If you want a quiet location and lake, this is the place! Beautiful sunsets! Cottage has everything you need! Only negative thing we can say is there are a lot of steps down to the cottage and then down to the lake!
Very nice property. Beautiful view of the lake. Close to town for anything you need. Owner Ivy was very nice to chat with. Everyone enjoyed this trip. Thanks.
We loved how quiet and peaceful Peach Lake was! There were very few other boats on the lake while we were there, so it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. We also appreciated all of the many extras provided with this rental, such as kayaks, a paddleboard, a lily pad, camping chairs, dock access, a garage, a laundry room, dishwasher, games, bedding, towels, and fans for each bedroom. The owner was VERY easy to work with, too.
The cottage was everything we expected from the listing on VRBO. The cottage is on a very quiet lake with respectful neighbors. The cottage was clean and didnât need very much upkeep during our stay. Check in was simple and the book with information about check in, check out, and overall information about the area was very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying at the cottage and plan on booking another trip to stay there again.
We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the hosts. Plentiful fans, well-appointed kitchen, well-stocked bathrooms, and beautiful views/lake! The home was pristine, cozy, and thoroughly enjoyed by our family. Our kids loved the kayaks! We felt right at home, and are looking forward to a return visit. đ
My first visit to Michigan, which is also first visiting West Branch
Arrived at the property in the wee hours of the morning. Almost pitch black, I couldnât find the lockbox. Thinking that the box was on the outside of the house, walked around for a hood twenty minutes before realizing that the box might be inside the house. That was keystone cop moment. This is not a negative review, but a learning experience for me. Next time, arrive when itâs daylight. Otherwise, it was a positive experience. The property was well maintained. The amenities were great . The view of the lake was breathtaking. My next visit will be when itâs warmer, because access to the lake was limited. All and all, five star review all the way
It was a weekend with our adult kids and grandaughter to just spend time making memories, unplug from the everyday.
House was even better than its description. Highly recommend this house and peach lake.
What a great spot on Peach Lake! Beautiful views! Very comfortable beds, plenty of blankets and pillows, comfy couches. Kitchen had tons of supplies to cook with and propane and firewood were there for using the grill, fire pit, and deck gas fire pit which was awesome. Everything was super clean!
For the owner and those planning to stay here, hereâs what I felt was missing, but a lot of places do not supply these, itâs just a preference of mine and if you are staying here you should plan on bringing your own, but itâd be great if the owner added these things:
Beach towels
Simple kitchen staples like sugar and flour so those on a week long trip donât have to buy in bulk (there was salt, pepper and olive oil)
Make sure previous guests actually put the kayaks back inside, they had been left outside and were too dirty for us to want to use (we left them where they were)
Some outdoor lights for the decking would be great!
In all honesty, none of these little things made a bit of difference to us and we had a phenomenal time at the lake house!!!!
This home was a great retreat for our family with a beautiful view of the lake. Fishing was great for my husband , son and grandkids. Only wished the weather had cooperated with our stay. Would love to come again and get to enjoy the lake more.
The property is well stocked with all you need! The amenities were a bonus to enjoy the lake. We spent many of hours fishing and using the kayaks. The location was perfect for privacy but close to shops if you needed to make a quick trip.
The cottage was cozy and clean. The deck was a perfect spot to watch the incredible sunsets and have a fire. We enjoyed kayaking around the lake, fishing off the dock, playing on the lily pad, and walking around the neighborhood. The neighbors were super nice and our kids enjoyed playing together.
We purchased this home during Winter 2022 in hopes of creating a get-a-way for families and friends to gather, relax, unwind, and make memories! Although this is our first vacation rental, we have much experience in managing property rentals. We would ask all of our guests to allow us the opportunity to address any concerns and do what we can to enhance your stay.
Peach Lake is truly a hidden gem. For a 200 acre all sports lake it is not very congested due to the fact that much of the lake is boarded by a private farm. A very manageable drive from the Metro Detroit Area gets you away from it all without having to sacrifice modern amenities and shopping in the West Branch area.
