DREAMWOOD -- a historic district Designer's Cottage with private courtyard
Only 3 blocks from Main Street and the historic waterfront, enjoy this completely renovated cottage for a wonderful weekend getaway with friends or a quiet family retreat. Visit Cumberland Island, enjoy a day of fishing, explore Crooked River State Park, or take a day trip to the beach. After a day of exploring, you can relax outside under the festive courtyard lights draped beneath the trees as you let your worries melt away. Then enjoy your dinner al fresco beside the trickling garden fountain. You may even want to stay forever!
This cottage was perfect, tucked into a cozy neighborhood with easy access to the highway. It was clean, with lots of space, and a nice outdoor area. Highly recommend this cottage for your stay in St. Mary's GA!
We stayed several nights while exploring the area for possible retirement option. It was a quick trip to Amelia Island and to Jekyll Island. Nice location close to the Harbor area that we walked to. The cottage was cute; looks like recently renovated and pleasantly decorated. The bed was comfortable and there was TV access to watch the morning news. I would recommend and stay there again when in the area.
I stayed here with my husband and I really enjoyed the house. The kitchen had everything youâd need and more. The neighbors were friendly and kept to themselves. The town is in walking distance and has a good amount of bars and restaurants. Overall it was a nice location and great for winding down/relaxing.
Dreamwood Cottage is an adorable small house in a fantastic location. It is super clean and well furnished. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. The patio is private and was perfect for my little dog. It is quiet and peaceful and only a five-minute drive to the harbor. Looking forward to another visit.
We live north of St.Mary's but wanted to take a few trips into the Okefenokee to kayak, and to Cumberland. This location worked out beautifully for our needs. St. Mary's is incredibly quiet, something we hadn't thought of but welcomed with open arms.
Our family enjoyed a 10 day stay in St Marys. We loved the area and peacefulness. We walked and biked around the neighborhood and to downtown for dinner and ice cream. Convenient for Cumberland Island ferry. We visited Jekyll Island and Fernandina Beach several times.
The house was perfect and had plenty of linens. The kitchen was well-stocked for making meals that we enjoyed on the patio. Overdue for a deep clean, but there is a Dyson available.
Overall, our experience at this quaint house exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway in St. Marys.
Comfy house and walking distance to historic St. Marys
Son stationed at Kings Bay so we wanted to rent a place where he and his wife could stay with us and feel like they were on vacation too. Just enough space for the 4 of us. We loved the outdoor space and sat outside a lot! Kitchen fully stocked. Close to Fernandina beach and Jekyll island - beached and explored both. Owner very responsive, even though he was on vacation too! Would definitely stay here again.
This beautiful cottage was the perfect getaway for our family. It felt very much like home and was very welcoming. We enjoyed walks to the downtown area and also enjoy the quiet peacefulness of the neighborhood in the evenings.
I would highly recommend this VRBO!
Very clean. Nice layout. All furniture was very comfortable. Beautifully decorated! Nice small town. Had everything we needed other than 1/2 & 1/2 for coffee and also shower soap & shampoo.
Highly recommend!!
Enjoyed staying here. Nice accommodations. Great location to walk downtown. Very quiet neighborhood. Mark was very nice to work with. Very relaxing vacation.
Spotless, perfectly decorated, well equipped, ideal location in gorgeous historical neighborhood. Huge backyard for dog owners.Short walk to waterfront and downtown St. Maryâs.
The house and decor are precious! The night scene is fun with live music in multiple places and an arcade/pool hall. The restaurants offer crowd pleaser meals with lots of fried options and house wines. I am a self admitted foodie and a bit tough to please. We drove into Fernandina for a beach day (40 minutes) and loved the town, shopping, and much better cuisine and wine options.
5 stars! Location Cleanliness. Tastefully designed. Well stocked. Comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when we come to vacation in the future
This beautiful and clean home made us feel so comfortable, like we were in our own home. So cozy and relaxing. It had everything we needed. Loved the patio, we sat outside and watched the storms come in while staying dry. Highly recommend!
This home is as nice as it looks. It makes you feel right at home. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Outdoor area is lovely. Location is great, you can walk or a very short drive to historic district and river.
One negative, living room tv is very, very small. Really can't enjoy watching tv or movie.
I would definitely recommend to friends and family. I would stay here again.
