Enjoy our meticulously maintained, tri-level home nestled in the southern part of the city. In minutes, arrive at some of Pittsburgh's favorite sites including museums & world-famous stadiums. This is our actual home. The kitchen is equipped with just about everything needed to prepare culinary specialties inside or grilling on the patio.
■There are three 55" smart TVs to enjoy.
■Cancellations not accepted due to inclement weather. We suggest being proactive & purchasing travel insurance.
■Garage MUST be requested when booking. If not, it could be occupied. Our driveway parks up to 4 cars depending on size.
■Home is NOT wheelchair acessable.
■CHARGEPOINT Home Flex Leval 2 EV Charger/up to 40 (32 amps) in garage for guests. MUST request at booking.

Immaculate, well-stocked house with comfortable beds, plenty of towels and blankets in a great location, convenient to all things in Pittsburgh. We stayed here for a graduation weekend and had plenty of room for family members who joined us. We have stayed a lot of different places, and we highly recommend this property.

This was such a charming and cozy home for us to be in New Year’s week. We were visiting family in the South Hills and this place had great location for all our planned activities! Owner left all instructions, along with any other info we may have wanted in an easy access binder. We loved the Christmas decor in the home, house was very clean and had everything we could have needed!Mary Lou was accessible whenever we had a question, and kept in touch making sure we were ok.Would recommend her home to anyone needing close access to downtown Pittsburgh, or to south hills area too!

The house was very nice and very clean you can tell the owners really care about the house and the property. The only draw back was the beds were a bit too hard.

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The house is full of character and fun things to look at. The porch / garden area is beautiful and an enjoyable place to sit and relax. We also really enjoyed the ample parking and proximity to so many fun activities and restaurants. Would happily stay again.

I was born in a small town in WV. During my senior year in high school, I spent 9 mos as an exchange student in Brazil. I returned to the States & started my short lived university life at WVU. I married a Brazilian gentleman & we had two wonderful children.
For over 32 wonderful years, I lived in Fortaleza in the State of Ceara, Brazil. While there, fifteen + years were spent as a restaurant entrepreneur together with a business partner, owning two restaurants: Cafe Matisse and Le Pot. Portuguese is my second language. Now fast forward...for about 18 years, I worked as a real estate agent but now enjoying retirement. Hobbies include: cooking, E-biking with my hubby, international travel, cruising, visiting our grown "kids" & camping & exploring new adventures in our Black Series HQ21 RV! There's never a dull moment!!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This is our own "Home Sweet Home". Our neighborhood is considered to be friendly, quiet & walkable! Visit Moore Park, a short walkable distance from the house which highlights a public swimming pool, tennis, basketball, pickle ball courts & sprinklers for the kiddos! We're retired. Therefore, we opened our home over 4 yrs ago for guests to enjoy & have fun exploring the "Burgh!" My husband & I anticipate that our guests will be respectful & tidy. One of our favorite pastimes includes enjoying a morning cuppa Joe outside on the patio. It's fascinating to watch & listen to the birds & to see what flowers have debuted. The whimsical painted artifacts throughout the garden were done by my husband. There's a public transportation stoo to downtown located about 50 steps from the house. Brookline Boulevard offers: CVS Pharmacy, nail salons, bakeries, hair salons, gas station, 1st Community Bank, Cafes, Carnegie Public Library, Pitaland, & shops, At Pitaland, you can savor a delicious Gyro, Baklava, etc. Take time out to explore the Boulevard. You gotta love it!

This is our actual home! It's location is in the southern part away from the hustle & bustle of larger neighborhoods, with a small town feel. In only minutes, you can arrive at Mt. Washington to check out the overlook with amazing views, walk down Shilo Street full of eateries & bars then move on to downtown Pittsburgh & take in a city tour. Have fun taking in a game at one of the stadiums, visit museums, eateries & so much more.
