Treetops Cabin in the Woods!

Experience Treetops cabin in the woods for your relaxing retreat. A one of a kind cabin overlooking a huge ravine and creek, surrounded by old growth forest. You can enjoy the views of the woods from every room and the huge deck. Relax to the sounds of nature with friends and family while comfortably lounging on the screened in porch. Plenty of space, privacy, and activities for the whole family on the property to enjoy.

Tons to do for the nature lover within minutes from the cabin. Turkey Run, voted best hiking in the Midwest, is only a 5 minute drive. 31 Covered Bridges, Shades State Park, Billie Creek Village, canoeing on Sugar Creek, and other attractions in beautiful Parke County are only a short drive away. The popular Jackson Covered Bridge is just a short walk down the road. Nearby Rockville has lots of cute boutiques and shopping to explore.

The space:
Beautiful views from all rooms including the dining room, living room, and fully stocked kitchen. The primary bedroom has a queen size bed, single bed, a comfy chaise lounge for enjoying the views, plus its own private deck. There's also a loft bedroom with a double bed and window seat, and a bunk bed sleeping area between the living room and primary bedroom.

Enjoy the serene deck with a Weber propane grill, screened in porch, and tables and chairs, as well as the outdoor picnic table and firepit. Tree bathe right in the middle of the woods!

Lots of games, toys, and books for all ages.

This is the perfect place to retreat and enjoy nature, while still being minutes to all that stunning Parke County has to offer.

Other things to note:
We allow dogs in certain circumstances, but please contact us before booking if you want to bring a dog so we can send our pet policy.

In winter months the home can be heated with 2 wood burning stoves in addition to using the furnace. Upon authorization we will share instructions on how to safely operate.

It is not uncommon to see and hear a variety of wildlife during your stay. The property borders the northern edge of Covered Bridge State Park and is home to many different species of birds and other animals.

This is a beautiful, clean and cozy cabin in the treetops. It was well stocked with everything I needed to find peace and serenity including a juicer for fresh squeezed orange juice and a French press for coffee in the morning while listening to the birds right outside the screen door. The owners were responsive and accommodating (they had someone out immediately when a sliding door went off its track). The location was wonderful with easy access to Turkey Run State Park and nearby Shades State Park, as well as beautiful drives through covered bridges. It is exactly what I was hoping for. I will be back.

Great Getaway to Nature

This house is tucked into the woods and sits near a grand ravine. Stunning views and very peaceful. The house is well supplied and works great for a couple or a couple with kids. We were very pleased and hope to return again.

Beautiful Cabin

We had a wonderful stay for three nights! The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and pan you could imagine! The balconies were perfect for enjoying your meals with a view! The beds and furniture were very comfortable! There were movies and games for us to utilize during our downtime in the evenings! And my gamer kid and phone addicted teens had no issue utilizing the wifi! Highly recommend!

Great Time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was there. Our two year old granddaughter loved all of the toys and children’s books, and the woods were breathtaking. We relaxed on the deck and were comfortable inside the house as well. We’d love to come back sometime.

Great tree top cabin!

Great cabin in the forest! Close to Turkey Run SP and Sugar Creek is within walking distance. There is a covered bridge at Sugar Creek as well. Highly recommend this cabin for a long weekend or a full week. The cabin is clean and in good shape and is equipped with all the essentials needed for your stay.

Great visit except water had very pungent odor. The house was very hard to cool with window units when it was above 85 degrees.

Thank you for your feedback and glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately there was an extreme heat wave during your stay and while the air conditioners keep the house comfortable, sometimes they can have difficulty keeping up during extreme heat. As mentioned before the stay, the water is well water which can have a bit of a unique taste or scent compared to city water. The cabin's well has been tested to ensure its safety and quality, and it exceeds all the required standards. The cabin is equipped with a Culligan water softener, in addition to running it through multiple filters. We also offer guests a Brita to further filter the water.

Memorial Day weekend

We loved our 3night 4day stay at the Tree Top Lodge! We found everything very clean and organized. It provided perfect amout of space to spread out and chill. Each night we were able to enjoy a different part of the house from roasting marshmallows to grilling out on the desk and even late nights enjoying the screened in part of the deck. We would deff stay again!

Beautiful!

Such a beautiful and comfortable home with everything that you could need. Awesome nature- had raccoons cooing at my husband while he read by the fire pit, watched deer grazing upon the hill and saw more fireflies than I have seen in decades! Great location to Turkey Run, Shades and Sugar Creek. Would definitely return!
