AVL Bear Haven, only minutes from Asheville Downtown
Asheville Bear Haven is nestled perfectly on the city's mountain ridge. It is only 3 miles down the mountain ridge to Downtown Asheville, 5.3 miles to Biltmore Estates and only 4 miles up the ridge to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy the tastefully designed unit with huge front deck and of course views of the mountains and lots of fresh air. You may see a bear, or two, occasionally so please be careful and do not feed bears! You will not be disappointed! Self Check-in. This cabin is a roundhouse duplex. Asheville Bear Haven is the upper unit with its own entrance and its own deck. Lower unit is rented separately. Parking is shared for both units.
This property is immaculate. Clean, fresh and perfectly decorated. It also has a comfy bed and a wonderful (but not panoramic view). Best of all, it's a short drive to downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Highly recommended!
This property was beautiful; an absolutely perfect oasis for a couple looking to get away from the world. Only a short drive from downtown Asheville, but removed enough to feel secluded with a great view of the mountains. What really set this property apart was the hosting; we were welcomed on check-in with cozy music playing and a pair of house shoes ready for both of us. All amenities needed were provided. Truly a wonderful experience!
The pictures don't do this place justice, everything is stunning. From the decor, to the immaculate setting on the mountain, and a modern tree house vibe, this was a perfect getaway for my wife and I. The romantic outdoor fireplace with scenic views is perfect for a glass a wine or nice bourbon. Downtown a close drive / uber/lyft, but honestly my wife and I really didn't want to leave the house. Marina was a fantastic host. Next time I'm in Asheville I will definitely be staying here again.
I booked this 2 night stay for my sister and brother in law as a little weekend getaway. Communication was great from the start! They both absolutely loved the views from the deck for sunset and relaxing in the mornings. They were impressed with how close to downtown Asheville it is while still being quiet and secluded. The home was spotless and thoughtfully decorated. The loose leaf teas and delicious coffee were appreciated as well! Overall, they would gladly stay again to have the chance for a lovely mountain escape while still being able to enjoy what Asheville has to offer.
