Come enjoy the Little Cozy Cabin at Mille Lacs with it's New Updates Upstairs and an additional sleeping space! The cabin is directly across a quiet street from Mille Laces Lake. Our family has enjoyed the area for generations, enjoying the lake, and the simple pace of Isle. Park your car or boat and get ready! There is plenty of room at the back of the property to park your trailer. Boats can access the lake at Father Hennepin State Park or at the Public Access ramp (locations in photos). When you are not at the lake, we enjoy campfires, relaxing on porch, or uptown getting a coffee, massage, or hanging out at the local tavern or bowling alley. And if that's not enough, we ride bikes to the local state park or jump on the Soo Line trail and ride to Walkon for lunch. While you're at the Cozy Cabin, you can also enjoy the city park/beach or rent a pontoon. Our cabin is perfect for the intimate get-a-way! Our sister property (ID 2289792) is two doors away for the rest of your family and friends! ***AND*** 1 week to Long-Term Rentals from Nov.1-June 1.
Traveled here myself for a weekend, and it was great. Could walk to supermarket, bars, bowling alley and then very close to parks/lake where you can hike, walk and go swimming. House was quaint, and had everything you needed to enjoy a weekend. :)
Spent the weekend here so we could take the side by side out on the trails. The place is close to stores & the bar. The bar closed at 9:15 randomly but thatâs not on the home owner.
My wife and had a fantastic stay. The place is sized just right for a romantic getaway. As it's name implies,it is "cozy" but felt very comfortable, not cramped as you might feel in tiny cabin. It had everything we wanted/needed all in our own private space. And everything you might need in town (grocery store, bar/restaurant, coffee, liquor store, and even a laundromat, is literally within 4 blocks or less.
The little cottage was in a nice neighborhood and just half a block from lake access. The grocery store was just across the strwet which was handy. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor dining table.
The cabin is nicely decorated with newer bathroom amenities and space not often found in older home layouts. It had plenty of room for the three of us and was very comfortable. The street is quiet and the town of Isle is quaint with the lake close enough to see from the curb. We enjoyed our stay and Martha was an attentive host. A little gem near great fishing.
Hello,
The house itself is nice, the location very convenient for our purpose.
The house has been redecorated partially, new bathroom, partially new kitchen.
The upper floor has one main usable bedroom, and a second room which is not refurbished and sealed off for access a bit strangely, so it leaves a not-so-nice impression.
The house has a front porch which is maintained. The back porch is actually nicer to use, but it was in a poor condition and the surroundings not taken care of, also leaving a mixed impression.
My friend and I so enjoyed our weekend away from the kids, husbands, and work! We had everything we needed and everything was within walking distance. The porch is very relaxing as we spent hours reading during the day on it. Campfires were great at night. We plan to be back next year!
We had a lovely time in this cozy and quaint cottage. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need in the entire experience was relaxing and peaceful. Well done to the owner.
Nice cozy home; fit the description. Communication with the host was timely.
Price per night is fair. Would recommend to a friend. Thanks for having us!
Absolutely horrible experience. Bug infested fire trap.
Owner would not honor time booked on VRBO. Shortened from 3 nights to 2. Only stayed one night as overrun with mosquitos in the house and suspect fire hazard with wiring issues.
I love Isle, MN! I have grown up on the lake and my kids have also enjoyed the community there. I am a mom of 4 girls, college track coach, real estate enthusiast, health & wellness coach, and more importantly, someone that loves to host people and create memorable experiences. I love to be active (hike/walk/swim/lift weights/dance/spin/ski) and anything in between. Cabin life is my favorite as I enjoy campfires, fishing, and hanging out with friends. Additionally, I like my amenities like coffee shops, a good manicure, and a massage in between it all. Don't be surprised if I reach out to you as I love to network and connect people and opportunities.
The Cozy Cabin will remind you of the old days with the current modern amenities of today. Wood floors, log accents, and vintage doors/furniture are inviting and a change from your daily grind. The cabin is located in Isle so you can walk everywhere! Perfect for mother/daughter get away, buddy fishing trip, or a honeymoon! Simple, easy, and relaxing. Don't worry about parking your boat, there is plenty of room at the back of the property. I also have 2 vintage bikes you can use. Boat rental is also available across the street at Castle Resort.
Private, easy access to Mille Lacs Lake, grocery store, local pub, bakery, coffee shop, cafe, and parks. There is a shed on the property if you need any extra storage space. Lastly, you have a host that really cares that you have a great experience.
