Adirondack Cabin at Cramer's Point Lake George w/ lake access sleeps 5-6
Our most popular cozy two bedroom wood cabin located close to the lake at the Cramer's Point Lake Breeze family resort property in Lake George, this stand alone rustic Adirondack style cottage has its own deck with Solo Fire Stove, relaxing chairs and patio dining set. Inside are a full kitchen & living room with vaulted ceilings and pine beams and walls. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has a twin bunk bed over a queen sized lower bed, perfect for yound and old. This cabin sleeps 5-6. A traditional bathroom as designed in the 1940s provides a stand up (32") shower (bathroom is a smaller size typical of the era and an Adirondack cabin). Quietly and efficiently heat and A/C with a new heat pump mini split unit. Enjoy lawn games, a fire and lazy chairs. Relax at either of our 2 pools or at the lake access point. Row boats and canoe available for our guests to enjoy, and on property games such as horse shoes, shuffle board and corn hole add to the fun. We are very near to the lake, located on the east (lake) side of Lakeshore Drive, about 500' from the lake. We have deeded access via a trail down (and back up!) the hillside, which leads to an approximately 125' space with an authentic natural Adirondack Lake front with gorgeous views, water access and several canoes & rowboats that we provide for our guests at no additional charge (in-season). Please note that there is no vehicular access, and that walking up and down the trail is required. We let our Guests know that this is not a "sandy beach" as found on the oceans / sounds, but rather a mountain shoreline. It is a beautiful spot to bring a chair and take it all in, enjoy the sound of the water, take a dip or explore the bay in our complimentary boats.
Property was quiet, cute and conveniently located 15 min from the village and a short walk down to the lake.
Priced reasonably for the amenities. Would definitely consider staying at again in the future.
I felt like it was sold to me online different than what was actually presented. The water pressure in the shower was horrible. There was no plug in the bathroom and that should've been told. There was a light in the kitchen that we could not turn off at any time with any switch. There were several lights that didn't work at all.We did enjoy our visit and made the best of it but there were definitely some small issues.
We really enjoyed the laid back feel of this property and got the cabin feeling without being in the middle of nowhere. Our only issues were that we were under the impression the laundry was in-unit, it's not, and the water temperature could scald if you put it too hot, so we didn't trust our young kids to touch the sinks or shower without supervision. We also got our check-out information two hours after we left, but it ended up being fine because we did everything on the list that they asked. All in all, nice spot!
So, first things firstâŠâŠno real beach accessâŠ.itâs a downhill path to a tiny spot. The place could def use a refreshing as the electric was questionable and the place hasnât really been cleaned well in a while. Fans were nice to augment the wall unit AC but were caked in dust. Bathroom needed some cleaning and the shower is small. The place is dark! The carpets, should be torn out for a cleaner more hygienic feel and seemed old in need. Beds were comfy, fire pit was nice touch and the owners get you started with firewood. They were accommodating to early check in as we arrived almost 2 hours early. Overall, ok pool which we didnât take part in. Overall an ok stay just 2 miles out of the main town
We are a family cabin resort business. We operate the property alongside our children, and we do so with pride! Cramer's Point carries on in the Adirondack family vacation tradition enjoyed by generations of visitors who come to spend time with family and friends relaxing, playing games and enjoying good old fashioned summer vacation by the Lake.
We believe in keeping the tradition alive! Adirondack style mom-and-pop resorts are no longer being built and we believe in bringing new life to a time honored property and traidtion of family and friends gathering in one of the most beautiful regions in the USA, to enjoy each other's company and all that we have to offer. We are one of the lowest price properties, but offer more than nearly any other "off lake" resort, including 2 pools and access to gorgeous Lake George, and with free access to canoes and rowboats.
Our water front access, excellent location close to the Village of Lake George and Bolton Landing, as well as our beautiful grounds and amenities make this a great stop for your summer vacation at a fraction of the price of larger, corporate resorts.
