Snowflake Slope and Spa is a beautiful large duplex home located on a quiet cul de sac within walking distance (.7 miles) of the Steamboat Ski & Summer Resort base. It has wood, slate and carpet throughout the 3000+ square feet. With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths - plus 2 separate living rooms, you'll have no shortage of space for family and friends to enjoy their time in beautiful Steamboat. .

Home features air conditioning in 3 bedrooms and a portable watercooler for the 4th bedroom or either large family room.

A private sauna, wet bar, 10 foot high ceilings, spacious latge kitchen, and private fenced back yard with mountain view are a few of the additional amenities that set this deluxe home apart from the rest — which includes a heated garage.

The free city shuttle picks up and drops off every 20 minutes within 75 yards of the home, so getting around town is easy. Personal cars are not necessary, as bikes, Ubers and taxis are available, also.

The home is located on the end of a quiet cul-de-sac allowing ample room for children to ride bikes, skate, etc. In addition, there is a large green space across the street for children to play ball, build snowmen, or play chase.

The ground floor is ideal for living or entertaining. It consists of a large kitchen with separate dining room, family room, deck and fenced back yard, half bath, foyer, and a heated garage. The rooms are spacious with an open layout.

The large kitchen features a gas range, a warming drawer, microwave, beautiful cabinetry, granite slab counters, a large refrigerator with filtered water and ice dispenser, lots of lighting options, and plenty of room for multiple chefs. There's also a bar and pass through to the dining room, which invites you to keep your chef company, and makes it easy to serve and clean up meals.

The dining room is large. It has a table and seating for 8, and 3 people can dine at the adjoining bar.

The archway between the dining and living room is about 12 feet wide, so it feels like one enormous room.

Just by itself, the living room would be considered big. With two beautiful full size couches and two comfy armchairs, there is space for your whole group to enjoy each other's company after a day full of adventure. A 50 inch HDTV and gas fireplace add to the ambiance. Large banks of windows provide ample natural light in the living and dining rooms. Wooden blinds cover the windows when you prefer more privacy.

Outside, the home is surrounded by mature landscaping that provides privacy and a view of the mountain. The back yard is fenced with a deck and grassy area that is an ideal and safe place for kids to play. A large dining table, 12 chairs and multiple side tables ensure your outdoor experience to be comfortable. Keep an eye out for fox, moose, raccoons and bears as an aspen grove out back often attracts visitors!

The second floor has two master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a laundry room. Both master bedrooms have closets and dressers for storage, HDTVs, ceiling fans, and air conditioning. Both 2nd floor bedrooms are large, accommodating King or Queen beds, nightstands, TV stands, dressers and armchairs. If you want some private time, grab a book or switch on the TV and relax! Each private bathroom has a walk in shower and vanity big enough for all of your personal beauty products.

On the 3rd floor, you'll find a 2nd large family room with vaulted ceilings, a wet bar with refrigerator, microwave, and sink. Table for 4, reclining oversized chairs and reclining sectional leather couch provide ample seating for all your family and friends to enjoy the large HDTV.

Also on the 3rd floor, there is a walk-in sauna, a double bedroom with air conditioning and an adjoining bathroom, and a twin bedroom. A 4 person game table and chairs is ideal for a snack, puzzle, homework or a laptop desk.

The two upper level bedrooms contain armchairs, a walk-in closet and dressers. The bedroom with a full size bed has direct access to the bathroom, while the bedroom with 2 twin beds has a nice view of the mountain. A water cooler is available for the main area or twin bedroom.

The location is convenient in any season. If you're here during ski season, you might walk or bike to the slopes. It's a flat .7 mile (10 minute) walk, and the city snow blows the sidewalks that lead you directly to Gondola Square. If renting equipment, overnight free storage for your skis and snowboards at the base of the slopes makes this walk easy. There is a free shuttle that drops off at mountain base which stops every 20 minutes about 50 yards from the home. Free shuttle also goes downtown if shopping or dining is on the agenda.

Summer and fall, the location is just as great, or even better. Sidewalks and trails lead to national forests, ponds, parks, creeks, rivers, as well as restaurants and shops. An extension of the Yampa River Core Trail comes within 100 yards of the back door. Hop on that trail and you can easily bike or jog 3 miles into downtown, then ride the bus home.

If you do plan to have cars, you'll be able to park 3 of them with no problem. There is direct access to the kitchen from the garage, which makes unloading groceries easy. The property is a duplex home with a shared driveway. The heated garage has ample room for 1 car, and 2 additional spaces directly in front of garage provide comfortable parking for 3 cars.
