Lovely property on a small lake. Everything in order, clean and inviting. Jason was ready with answers and advice at all times. Really enjoyed the stay and hope to return. Thank you.
Cabin was gorgeous and clean. Owner had all we needed. Only downfall is road is rough and canât fish off the dock or swim near the dock. Very relaxing sitting at fire pit near the pond.
Very nice home in the woods. We really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen with cooking necessities. When we didnât cook we enjoyed the Landing and China Lake Provisions. Unfortunately we couldnât enjoy the water as it was full of algae and the water seemed low so it wouldâve been difficult to get into the kayaks without wading into the water. If you would like to enjoy them I would pack some good water shoes. The beds were quite squeaky so any movement disturbed others in the room and a very hot week made it hard to sleep comfortably. There is an A/C unit on the first floor but the cool air had trouble coming upstairs. We did appreciate that the owner did provide multiple fans. If youâre looking to get away to a quiet non-touristy Maine location this cabin is perfect.
Wonderful place to relax and undwind. I enjoyed watching the eagles fishing over the pond. The picnic table and firepit by the water is a great way to spend a summer or fall evening. The sunsets are spectacular. One minus is it is not a good place to swim.(The listing does state that)
We Absoutely loved your beautiful lake house. The views from the kitchen , dining and living room were beautiful. Loved seeing the Eagles and osprey. My husband caught so many bass the entire week.
Cute house with deck overlooking the pond with almost daily sightings of eagles, loons and ducks. We loved it here and would stay here again if we come back this way again. I hated to leave this cute home.
We had a great family vacation with our family on the lake. House was modern while still having the "Maine Feel". We did need to reach out to Jason for the minisplit having an issue - he resolved it promptly the next AM. House does list that it has a dishwasher and Bedit but it does not. Lake location was amazing for our kiddos. The boats and paddles were provided close by and plenty for us to use with the kiddos. Quiet lake - very few people out on it. Love this area :) My only other compliant was that the beds were a little uncomfortable for my husband as he is a much larger man so he needs a higher quality mattress to support him. Other than that he stay was GREAT - Jason was an awesome host.
Everything is amazing: the property is new, clean, has everything one needs, everything works perfectly; the setting is on the water, quiet but yet close to things; very easy check in and check out steps. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Lovely cabin. A little more finishing work needed in the outside but inside great. Well appointed, wonderful wood work and amazing lake views. We were here for dinner at the Lost Kitchen and these accommodations added to an amazing experience.
This place was perfect for our 3-night stay. Inside, it hits the sweet spot between well-equipped but uncluttered. The bird-watching overlooking the water was fantastic - from huge bald eagles to petite hummingbirds.
Beautiful views. Peaceful and quiet. Very clean and all the amenities you need. The craftsmanship and details are amazing. Will definitely be back in the fall to visit our daughterâs farm again and stay here
It was our second year in the same house! the place is beautiful! the house is very good, the cleaning this year was a little to be desired, but nothing too dirty. The owner of the house is very nice! However, if you go fishing, get your fishing license, and read the state rules! This year we forgot and it was our fault that we received court, we were very sad about what happened! but the house and the view are beautiful and we highly recommend it! Thank you again Jason!
This is the second stay for our group on the 3rd week in September. Jason's camp has everything we need. Room for 4 adults, a nicely laid out kitchen for cooking, and a beautiful view of Lovejoy Pond (this time complete with a bald eagle flying overhead). Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Thanks Jason!
I wanted a calm and nature place for my birthday! the house and the location are perfect! clean and super comfortable house! has everything to cook! full baths! feeling of being at home! fish jumping in the water! the fishing was great! wonderful lake view! We loved it and we definitely want to come back! thank you! wonderful house!
The property on a pond offered the best of Maine nature; eagles, loons, bass. The hand built cabin demonstrated some of the best carpentry I have ever seen. Delightful two weeks.
