Nantucket getaway minutes to Surfside beaches

Well-maintained, bright and sunny Nantucket home offers 3 beds, 2 full baths, central AC and brand new kitchen. Designed by renowned architects Bentley-Churchill, the home is crisp, clean and beautifully decorated with white shiplapped walls, brand new linens and beds and newly updated bathrooms. Located on an ultra-private, heavily wooded acre of land, this cottage offers an oversized deck with a grill and seating for 10 as well as a separate outdoor space perfect for morning coffee for two overlooking the professionally landscaped yard.

The cottage layout:
- Main floor has a bright and open great room with living, kitchen and dining, opening via french doors to the south facing deck. Great indoor/outdoor flow.
- Down the hall are two bedrooms, one queen, and one with 2 twins. These share a spacious full bath with large walk-in shower (rainhead + handheld).
- The entire upstairs comprises the master suite with queen bed, full bath, walk-in shower and balcony.
- Outside are two gorgeous mahogany decks, the front is peaceful with two rockers, the main, south facing deck has ample lounge seating and teak dining for 8 people. Mahogany outdoor shower.

If you are not already familiar with the island, the island's most popular 'big surf' beaches are all on the south shore. We are an easy 10-12 minute walk to the Surfside beaches; Fishermans', Steps, and Nobadeer. Nobadeer is popular with families who like the convenience of being able to drive their SUV right onto the beach. The home is completely stocked with beach chairs, beach towels, blankets, coolers, umbrella and more.

Great place to relax

Enjoyed the nice quiet stay.. the place was clean and fresh feeling.. great location close to nobadeer beach.. perfect size for out crew - deck was a great place to hang out!

Perfect Nantucket

My family and i just adored our stay at this wonderful Nantucket home. The location is amazing for those who enjoy Surfside and Nobadeer beaches as much as we do. The house was clean and bright, brand new kitchen and comfortable beds. Linens and beach towels /accessories were great. Outside dinning and lounging areas were a great bonus. Although this is a guest house to a larger home on property, you completely feel like you are at stand-alone property. Kate was a breeze to deal with. we highly recommend this property to all.

Terrific house!

We loved 26 Okorwaw - it was the perfect place for our family vacation on Nantucket. The house has everything you could possibly need and the owner was very helpful and accommodating. We took full advantage of the beautiful pool and outdoor area. The style, comfort and layout of the interior were all top notch!

Lovely and chic cottage

The cottage is lovely - it is situated on a beautifully landscaped and private lot and the interior is fabulously decorated. The owners left us a bottle of wine and local coffee to welcome us and were in touch with us via text to make sure we had everything we needed when we arrived. The cottage is situated near the beach (1 mile) - so we were we able to enjoy walks each morning on the beach after coffee. We highly recommend this property and its owners!

Surfside Perfection

Cabot Cottage is simply...Nantucket Perfection.... Quaint, relaxed and charming. The house is the most well provisioned home we have encountered...everything from a French press, to beach chairs, to soap , to shampoo, to hairdryers, to Beach towels to puzzles to books, to games, to coolers, to EVERYTHING you could want for a vacation on Nantucket is THERE!!!! To. make it even better, Jean Cabot is the NICEST most thorough, most gracious host. She provides extensive information about the island and favorite places to try. All of this provided on serene, beautiful grounds, ideally located in Surfside in the middle of the South Shore.... We could not have been more impressed by or comfortable in Cabot Cottage...WE CAN NOT WAIT TO GO BACK. !!!!

Wonderful stay and getaway

We cannot say enough about Jenn Cabot’s cottage. Beautifully decorated, clean, new appliances, and great location. Everything we needed. Jenn was so warm and welcomed us to the island / wrote us a kind note and left us some wonderful goodies. Waking up to the birds chirping was one of the many delights. My friends and I had a wonderful time and did not want to leave! Cannot wait to return xo!

The Perfect Nantucket Cottage

We are so happy we chose the Cabot Cottage for our special vacation trip to the beautiful island of Nantucket. The cottage was clean, very comfortable, and well stocked. The location was just what we were looking in an off-the-beaten path stay during Covid. Jenn and Skip were friendly and welcoming. Their tips on what to do, where to eat, and beaches to visit contributed greatly to a wonderful Nantucket experience.. We especially enjoyed the sunny deck on beautiful September mornings and afternoons. And we loved the daily airshow (close to airport but not at all annoying).. The hydrangeas and perfected pruned privets combined with the natural beauty of the property was a pleasant bonus. In a word - fantastic.

The Cabot Cottage exceeded our family’s expectations. We have visited Nantucket for 20 years and have stayed all over the island. Perfect Nantucket Cottage

Jenn and Skip have a lovely spot on Nantucket. We enjoy being close to the beach, bike path and away from hustle and bustle of Town. This cottage has everything! Every detail has been carefully considered for guests - lots of towels, beach chairs and gear, every home item you could need is in the basement so no trips to market for detergents or paper goods. You really feel like you’re staying at a great, thoughtful friend’s house. And to just set the visit over the top a list of “favorites” on island that really help narrow the options for those who are not repeat visitors. And did I mention fresh flowers greet you when you arrive? Our last visit was 14 years ago and we found it just as comfortable and clean after all these years. The one downside...we only had one week. Thank you Cabots for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful tucked away cottage

Jenn was lovely to work with and made our stay extra special. The house was beautiful and had everything you need. Location is a bit far from town or bus stop so advise renting bikes which made the weekend so fun! The beach is only a 3 minute ride.

Lovely, private cottage.

The cottage is charming, light, airy, and clean. It was perfect for our group. You should know that the upstairs bedroom, the largest, with a bathroom ensuite, doesn't have a door, so there is not a ton of privacy. The property is close enough to the airport; one does hear airplanes take off and landing, but it wasn't bad at all. All around, a lovely place to stay, well maintained by caring hosts.

Family Retreat

Home away from home...beautifully appointed cottage on secluded property made for a wonderful family retreat! We were so lucky to enjoy such a nice stay with our two adult children. Jenn’s recommendations for food and entertainment were also spot-on and our bike rentals helped us slow time as we meandered around. Great beach and surfing close by on Nobadeer too...we will return!

Very Private ACK Cottage

2 summers in a row at Cabot Cottage for our family...plenty of room for teenagers with lots of privacy on either the front porch or large deck, plus close proximity to everything ACK has to offer. Jenn & Skip are wonderful to rent from

The cottage is beautifully appointed with antiques and quality furniture and bedding. Jenn and Skip are very attentive and quick to assist, which we appreciated. The cottage comes with every amenity you would want for the beach and we were greeted with a welcome bottle of wine, two hats and a beach bag!! So thoughtful! Our only two small complaints are: We were surprised by the amount of traffic on the street, apparently it’s a backway to the airport, which made biking or walking a little harrowing at times. Also, we would prefer a larger bed in the master bed room. Other than that, we had a fantastic two weeks with our two grown children and our niece. Thank you very much.

Fantastic Nantucket Cottage

We stayed over the 4th of July week, and couldn't have had a better experience staying in the Cabot Cottage! The space was wonderful, the style and decoration of the house is a perfect Nantucket feel, and the location to the beaches and town was perfect for us. We loved grilling on the back deck and playing yard games. Jenn and Skip were wonderful hosts, and made sure we had everything we needed. We definitely hope to stay again next summer!

Secluded, but close to everything. Very well updated, awesome space

We loved our stay and so did our children. Easy access to everything ACK has to offer, but a very quiet location. Really beautiful home inside and out. We will definitely be staying there again. The owner was great to work with, one of the reasons we had such a great experience.
