It's a little far from downtown SLC, but was a great location for a concert at the nearby amphitheater. Will absolutely keep in mind for future visits! Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay at Maynes Manor. The Vrbo was beautifully decorated, clean, and just what we needed. Kristin was great and accommodated us last minute with two extra twin beds which made all the difference for our kiddos. This was by far the best Vrbo we have stayed at. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

This home is in a beautiful neighborhood in a quiet suburb. A nice and safe neighborhood you can take a walk in. Larger than it looks in pics. Tons of extra towels and bedding, plush and super cozy linens. Soft, warm beds. We loved the "fireplace". We really appreciated the coffee and cocoa left for us. A great place for a family to stay. Lots of extra room in the living and dining area. I was there with my brother for our mom's sudden passing and funeral. Upon departure, Kristin (the host) gave me a little gift that turned out to be extraordinarily special. This is a lovely home and host, and I highly recommend.

Convenient location

We stayed for a week while skiing in the area.The apartment is a great size. The extra cot worked out gear for my teens. Mattresses are foam and comfy. Plenty of towels. We needed a toaster and scissors and Kristin dropped them off the next morning.I suggested an additional mirror so I could get ready while others are using the bathroom and she brought me one the next day.

Clean and comfortable

This apartment was exactly what we needed for our party of 4 during our ski/snowboarding trip in March 2025. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well-furnished, and the desk in the larger bedroom was perfect for the times we needed to work remotely. Having a washer/dryer unit in the bathroom was super convenient. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. This is a basement apartment, but the "daylight" window wells let in quite a bit of light so we didn't actually feel like we were in a basement. There is a family living in the unit above so at times we could hear footsteps overhead but it was generally not an issue. Unit was very clean and decorated nicely. Recommend!

End of Summer Trip

Overall, great experience and great host! Check- in was easy, communication with host was exceptional throughout the stay. The space was perfect for our group with two bedrooms with queen beds and the two extra trundle beds. Host made sure we had everything we needed, and bonus the kids got to swim in the new backyard pool! Would stay again! Thank you for a great stay!

Fine stay in West Jordan

This basement apartment is comfortable in terms of the couch and bed — priorities for us! The homeowners live above and were available to promptly address any issues. They also graciously accepted several packages we had delivered during our 30+ day stay. A previous guest had apparently walked off with the hair dryer, so the owner immediately brought me her own for my use during our stay. Very nice! We requested some kitchen items early in our stay, as this is one area that could be greatly improved upon. Within a couple of days, they had purchased 80% of the items. (There are still no sharp knives so be careful!!) We later provided a comprehensive list of kitchen items that would bring this apartment up to “very well equipped kitchen” status. Hopefully some of those items will be provided for future guests who enjoy cooking. If daylight is important to you, this probably isn’t a good match. We stayed in January and it was quite cold in West Jordan. The heat is controlled from the floor above. A steady temperature throughout the day and night was not achieved; a small space heater was provided so that helped! And there are plenty of cozy blankets. The bathroom is small but nice with very good quality towels. The washer/dryer works great. The bed was comfortable; a larger size would be nice. The master bedroom is very large — large enough to do yoga or other exercise, with excellent closet storage and lots of hangars. All in all we recommend this stay!

Positiv:Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich super. Sie bietet viel Platz und ist komplett ausgestattet – von der KĂŒche bis zu den beiden großen getrennten Schlafzimmern. Alles wirkt sauber und einladend. Besonders angenehm finde ich den Wohnbereich, der genĂŒgend SitzplĂ€tze bietet und nicht ĂŒberladen ist, trotz Kellerwohnung ist sie hell. Das WLAN ist unglaublich schnell und stabil, was fĂŒr mich besonders praktisch war. Praktisch sind auch die Waschmaschine und der Trockner, die tadellos laufen. Ein Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus, ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne, BĂŒgeleisen und Föhn in bestem Zustand – Top Ferienwohnung. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und kann die Wohnung wirklich weiterempfehlen.Negativ:Sehr hellhörige Wohnung, leider hört man die Bewohner ĂŒber einem laufen. Auch das KlimagerĂ€t ist sehr laut. Leider kann man das KlimagerĂ€t nicht separat steuern oder ausschalten. Bei den Fernsehern habe ich keinen Kanal einstellen können. Es hat mich nicht gestört, weil ich nicht fernsehen schauen wollte. Ich glaube, das der KĂŒhlschrank defekt ist. Da wir fast immer unterwegs waren, hatten wir keine Zeit das der Vermieterin mitzuteilen.

We had a great and comfortable stay at the Maynes Manor. It was in a great location in between Salt Lake and Orem, which are the 2 places we visited. With shopping and restaurants nearby. It had everything we needed to make meals and they had beds for all 6 in my family to sleep comfortably. It was very clean and we would definitely stay again. The price was great and I loved the quiet and safe location of the home and the neighborhood.
