Enjoy Ocean views from the private lanai when you settle into this newly renovated Kona Bali Kai condominium with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen. Just walking distances to beaches. This condo is also located on Ali'i drive!
What's nearby:

This rental is right on Ali'i Drive, an oceanfront road that leads right into downtown Kailua-Kona. The entire area offers shopping, biking, and walking while never losing sight of the ocean. Head in the other direction to popular beach destinations like Lyman's (a great surfing spot just under a half mile away). Both Magic Sands Beach and Pahoehoe Beach Park are just one mile away. Local take-out favorite Da Poke Shack, with its famously fresh tuna, is less than a block away from the condo - perfect for take-out you can enjoy on the beach. Açaí bowl food fans will love the Island-style breakfast at the new Magic Sands beach restaurant. Please note there is only one AC unit located in the living room. If you leave the bedroom door open throughout the day and night you'll be able to feel the AC throughout the unit. No elevator on site.

**Other things to note:
All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, dish soap, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid (ONLY for units that have dishwashers), paper towels, toilet paper. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby grocery stores.

The Big Island of Hawaii seems determined to break the norm; the stereotype of the average tropical island, that is. Here you'll find the ongoing battle between green forests, black lava fields, the ocean, the rain, and sunny days almost incomprehensible; the diversity is simply stunning. With that being said from time to time insects can be present outdoors and sometimes make their way indoors due to our tropical climate here in Hawaii. We share this information with you folks because we understand insects can be something to be fearful about or can be somewhat of a nuisance to some individuals. We would like to rest assured that we do schedule pest control services in our very tight schedule & do the maximum recommended to not harm people in the house/Condo which is once a month), but it's one of the few cons of tropical weather. Please know we go above and beyond for all of our guests and make sure to provide standard maintenance for extra comfort and an enjoyable time when staying with us here in Hawaii.

Perfect Kona Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Haven. The condo was exactly as pictured, clean, had everything you needed & the bed was comfortable. The lanai is the perfect place for morning coffee while listening to the ocean & at night the sunset is a stunning view! The ocean view from the lanai you can’t beat. We also really enjoyed the little beach across the street. There was never anyone there, has white sand & you are able to get in for a quick dip while watching the surfers. The location is about a 10 min drive from downtown Kona, shops, restaurants & grocery store all close by. When we return to Kona, we would definitely stay here again! Oh & the AC in the unit worked great! Mahalo for the great stay!

It was awesome!

This condo was so cute and perfect for everything we needed! It was in a perfect location to downtown as we liked being a little ways down the road. Even though we had a rental car, we chose to Uber to dinner for $6-$7. There was also a trolley that can pick you up and take you down town within steps from the condo. As far as inside the condo, it was comfortable for the two of us. The fact that it had A/C in the bedroom was amazing! The view from the balcony was also wonderful!!! We enjoyed making our own dinner some nights and sitting and watching the sunset. We didn’t have a need to contact the property manager but she was very communicative leading up to our vacation.

Don’t Fool With This Dumb!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Horrible! Bed was on wood slacks...bathroom so tiny a 3 year old could barely fit! false advertisement! Trust Me Do not stay at this dumb! Working with my bank now to get half of my money back! Oh and my side and back been hurting ever since I left Kona! DO NOT RENT THIS AIRBNB DUMB!!
