This historic home from 1870 is within walking distance to shops, dining and entertainment. Perfect outdoor entertaining space with patio, grill, fire pit and she-shed/ playhouse. Perfect to a getaway or family vacation.
We visited in late May for a short family reunion of adults at this lovely historic home. Plenty of room for the 7 of us to sleep comfortably and gather in the living room or breakfast table & dining room. Easy walk to the downtown shops and restaurants and short drive to hiking areas or wineries. The home was appointed generously in regards to staples. Britt was incredibly responsive. The immediate grounds are landscaped wonderfully.I would comment that the exterior areas of patio or front porch were dated for usability in regards to aged seat cushions or seating. The kitchen is small and dated. There are multiple level changes inside the home which wasn't a big issue for us but may impact those with disabilities.
Our family was in town to celebrate our sonâs wedding and enjoyed âPinkâ house! The quaintness of the house matched the quaintness of Leesburg making our week here one to remember! Britt was great!
We are college friends for 40 years and try to reunite every 4/5 years. We loved the walkable town and spent a day exploring. Took a winery tour. Enjoyed the various restaurants and we were delighted to find the Flower/Garden Show was same weekend. Excellent accommodations and the host was very responsive.
This is a very old house that can use some love. There were many different sounds we heard throughout our stay from creaky old floors to critters in the attic. The temperature upstairs was very warm and we couldnât turn on the A/C without fully turning off the heater which we werenât aware of. water pressure was extremely low in showers. Location was convenient to the places we needed to go while staying in Leesburg.
I booked this place with friends, a super cute house right on the main streetâan easy walk to restaurants and a really good ice cream place. The backyard setup was awesome, and thereâs a little space for dogs too. Right by the W&OD trail, which was perfect for a quick walk or bike ride. The host was super responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a chill weekend getaway!
The host often did not pick up the call, so we had to leave a message for issues of getting into the house and locking it up. The house has multiple levels from room to room and one of the staircases to the second floor is very narrow and steep. The table in the dining room is very wobbly. Most disturbing is the downstairs bedroom was declared haunted by our relatives, who were so frightened that they left in the middle of the night on the second night. I would not recommend this place to stay and the price was very expensive on top of everything else.
The pink pearl is a perfect place to stay while visiting Leesburg. We were able to gather there for my daughterâs wedding at Creeks Edge winery. Itâs so close to everything and so convenient. The beds are comfortable and clean and the house is very nice. Itâs also great place together on Sunday morning for the after wedding brunch with family. Only con is the lock on the door can be tricky.
Very quaint property in an excellent location. Air conditioning was a bit finicky in the very hot weather but owner was very quick to respond with solutions. Lots of space for a family group for a wedding!
We were in town for a family wedding. The location of the house is great, very close to downtown and close to everything we needed. The house is an old historic house, and while nicely maintained, does come with quirks of an over 100 year old house. It was a very hot weekend when we were there, and we did have some issues with the AC and the hot water. However, the host was very responsive and did her best to address the issues quickly. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and would stay there again!!
This old house was within walking distance of downtown Leesburg, so convenient to everything. The house is roomy, albeit with lots of floor level changes. So long as you watch your feet, the house is amazing. Beds are great and there was plenty of room for the entire family.
Great accommodations in a great location. Had a bit of trouble with the hot water heater that was promptly resolved. Took a minute to figure out the AC but it worked fine once we found it. Great stay with great folks...
The house worked really well for my family as we celebrated my wife's birthday. My kids (9,7,5) loved exploring the house and the twin beds room. The house was warm even in the snowy weekend, and we enjoyed walking to town for the oyster restaurant, the escape room, and fireworks pizza. Vanish brewery is also really fun with music and an arcade for the kids and beer and more oysters for us! A great weekend, thank you!
Daughter and children enjoyed the house and the locale
my daughter and her 3 children enjoyed the house with it's historical atmosphere and the short walk to downtown historic Leesburg, Virginia and the restaurants and sites
We had a great stay - we were 8 adults. The location was excellent. Easy walk to town and everything you need near by. The highlight for us was the yard. We spent most of our time there. The king size bed upstairs was very comfy. The twin beds and trundle werenât super comfy for adults, but theyâre intended use is for children. The house was light and bright. Kitchen well stocked and Brit was very responsive. She kindly allowed us access a couple of hours early. Would absolutely stay again.
This is a great property on the edge of downtown Leesburg. From the moment you enter, you are charmed with a perfect blend of old and new. The 1870's house has been updated with just-right touches. One bedroom is downstairs, the others up. The mattresses are very comfortable. Extra blankets are provided. The kitchen is one of the best equipped of all the VRBOs that I've rented and, if needed, you are right next to a grocery. The landscaping is lovely and interesting. Nice outdoor area with a fire pit. Firewood is available at the grocery. It was a very short walk to the restaurants and shops downtown. On Friday night, they blocked the main street for patrons. Don't miss getting a mocha at Goosecup. The property manager is very nice and responsive. The Pink Pearl is a family favorite VRBO property and I highly recommend it.
If you are visiting Leesburg/West Loudoun County, this is an ideal location. Love the house and love the location. We traveled with our two dogs and the house/yard was great for them.
We loved the house! So much character and charm! The house is in a great location in historic Leesburg and so easy to get everywhere. If you want historic charm and great location I highly recommend the Pink Pearl!
