Into water sports? Bring your own boat or jetski, or plan ahead and rent one. Or perhaps you prefer a quiet kayak adventure – perhaps watching the sun rise or set – by setting up agreement to use the house kayak, which can be provided at no cost with the rental.

Directly on the the Tallapoosa River/Lake Wedowee with Panoramic Views. Very quiet! It is about a 30 minute boat ride to the main lake, but this part of the lake/river has plenty of room for all your boating/skiing/tubing needs.

OUTDOOR LIVING: large deck off back of house w/ lake views, gas grill & bbq utensils, outdoor bed if you want to use it, swing, etc.; stairs to private dock & the lake; dock on year-round deep water, with ability to moor your personal boat or jetski (there is a jetski ramp); and if you’re bringing your boat & gear, your dock can become a gateway to adventures in fishing, wake boarding, tubing or skiing!

INDOOR LIVING: Open concept living room/kitchen/breakfast nook overlooking lake, featuring large flat-screen TV and a cozy couch, dining room table and bar seating; basement living area (kids paradise) featuring a large flat-screen TV, with a gaming system, cozy couches and access to separate patio overlooking the lake; laundry room; full bath on each level with additional powder room on main

PARKING: Driveway holds 3 vehicles (plus a boat-trailer in case you brought/launched your boat for the week)

GOING TO TOWN: The town of Wedowee won’t be confused with Atlanta, but it has small-town charm and it probably has what you need! Located just 8 miles down the road, you’ll find a grocery store, pharmacies, fast food chains, a liquor store, a few restaurants and even an antiques store. And just 4 mile away you’ll find a Dollar General that has... just about anything you forgot.

There is Wifi, but it isn't the best due to the remote nature of the property. It is the best we can get in that area.

Pets are welcome with payment of the pet fee.

We provide a starter kit of 1 paper towels, 1 large or 2 small rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom, soap for each bathroom and kitchen, and 2 garbage bags.
