The cabin wasnât far from town and it was very clean with lots of space for are family and had all the things we needed so all we had to buy was food and drinks so they saved us money with having the other stuff there to use
Excellent is all I can say. The Cabin, the view, the directions to get there. Everything worked, the cabin was well stocked. There are 3 Hummingbird feeders on the deck. It was fun watching one male ruby throat trying to keep all three to himself.
Wonderful home with exceptional view. Amenities were perfect for our family. Close to town and GSMNP for activities. We would definitely return again and highly recommend it to others.
This is a great cabin with beautiful views. This was a weekend getaway with the family, and we enjoyed our stay. The host was great and answered questions promptly. We would definitely stay here again.
Very secluded Everything you can ask for was there Definitely will return The drive up the cabin road is a little sketchy but itâs a mountain so itâs expected
We were looking for a location that could accommodate our family when visiting Bryson City for the train ride. This was the perfect find! Property was beautiful and wonderfully kept. We had a great weekend trip. Highly recommend!
We were pleasantly surprised when arriving at the cabin- the pictures did not do it justice! The owners were so friendly and responsive to our messages leading up to our stay. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had a well stocked kitchen for preparing meals. The views were gorgeous. We hope to be back! I do suggest an SUV or Truck for accessing the cabin.
This was one amazing cabin loved it inside and out but the spiders where bad we got bit a lot but all other wise it was amazing and good thank you so much for letting us stay
This was one of the most relaxing vacations we ever had. The hot tub and views were absolutely amazing and the owners were great. We would love to stay again.
Our family had a great time in this adorable cabin! The pictures donât do it justice! We had 3 children with us and everyone had a great time! They had everything we needed! We did the deep creek falls and trails which were beautiful and convenient to get to. Thanks for a great stay!
nice stay, clean cottage, spacious, with a great view.
close to the town, and to Smokey mountains national park.
you need to arrive during the daylight, the drive up the mountain is a bit tricky.
I highly recommend the place
The pictures do not do this place justice. The cabin is so well built, maintained and furnished. Itâs just far enough away to feel secluded but very convenient to all there is to do in and around Bryson City. We loved it!
We recently visited with our extended family and had a wonderful time. The views are great and can be enjoyed from the wrap around porch. The cabin layout was very comfortable and functional. We also made use of the hot tub. The drive up the road/driveway was not difficult, however I recommend trying to arrive before dark to navigate the first time in daylight. The cabin is located close to the Smoky Mountain Natl Park and we enjoyed some day trips there.
Beautiful setting. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped. Should buy your groceries before you get to cabin. Make sure you arrive in daylight. Very narrow winding road up mountain and no lights.
We enjoyed the beautiful view and watched the sunset two nights. We have four kids who are ages 11 to 5, and they loved being able to sit outdoors and watch the hummingbirds. Lodge was clean and well stocked with everything from coffee filters to cutlery to hot tub towels. Great value. No trouble getting minivan up mountain or up driveway, just followed owner instructions.
Terry and Elizabeth Lasseter have been enjoying the Smoky mountains for nearly 40 years so felt it only natural to build their own cabin. Terry is a retired mailman and Elizabeth is a retired math teacher. They have been avid kayakers, hikers, and nature lovers who fell in love with mountain life. They hope you love the cabin as much as they do!!
After tent camping in the mountains for years, we finally started renting cabins. We then decided to build our own so we could own a piece of heaven! We looked for two years to find just the right spot. It has privacy and serenity, yet is convenient to town and all the mountain activities we love. We could not find just the right floor plans, so drew our own to build the perfect place to make forever memories.
It is secluded and private, yet convenient to get to all the places we enjoy, and the drive into town is absolutely beautiful. Although there are very few neighbors, the ones we have are friendly and treat us like family. We especially enjoy the serenity of hiking around the mountain, picking blackberries or viewing wildlife. After a long day of kayaking or hiking some trails, we can relax in the hot tub to take in the view or sit in the rocking chairs on the porch or gaze out the window from the living room or bedroom. No matter which we choose, it is like heaven on earth!
