A beautifully updated home in a great location; ideal for a group of friends, family or business travel. Perfectly situated within walking distance to the heart of Royal Oak and only a 15min drive to Downtown Detroit.

Spacious floorplan includes a large living area, dining room, and updated kitchen, as well as 2 queen bedrooms and a bathroom on the main floor. Upstairs includes a roomy loft with daybed, a queen room with workspace and a second bedroom that sleeps 3.

Multiple outdoor entertaining spaces are at you disposal including the back yard with fire pit, large back deck with covered seating and grill, and lovely front porch!

The property was very nice and clean. Its in a nice neighborhood and my family of 8 enjoyed staying there and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Perfect stay for a mom’s weekend away. Close to downtown Royal Oak and a quick drive to downtown Detroit. Host was responsive and check-in/out process and we seamless.

Roomy home with a lovely backyard

Not only is this property conveniently located within a walkable distance of Royal Oak’s activities, it boasts 4 roomy bedrooms and ample living room, dining room, and kitchen spaces that accommodate large families like ours! The backyard is lovely with a spacious deck and sitting area - perfect for enjoying the the outdoor garden.

Amazing Wedding Weekend Property

Had an amazing stay at the property with my closest friends in the days leading up to my wedding. The house accommodated our needs really well and the location was perfect for the weekend events. We enjoyed the fire pit, cooked up great food in the kitchen and used the space to stage flowers for the wedding. Would highly recommend!

Detroit Gathering

Had college friends come in from around the country for Fantasy Football Live Draft. House had great amenities and open floor plan that allows for everyone to gather and hangout. Rooms were great and as shown on the pictures. Location was great and proximity to excursions nearby. Communication and coordination with owner was great and quick.

Great location

Six of us, ladies, stayed at the house for three nights. Quiet and safe neighborhood, convenient location. The house is an old remodeled home, which brings old home problems with it. Very squeaky stairs and floors, AC cooling the downstairs but not the upstairs so much. The house has two bathrooms but one is on the first floor and the other is in the basement , while all the bedrooms are on the first and second floor. It is a bit inconvenient for those sleeping upstairs. The kitchen has everything you would need. The back porch is lovely. The place doesn’t feel very cozy but it works for a short stay.

Mary’s Visit

Super cute property, close to town center. Beds were comfy. We had a bit of trouble with the entry code not synching, but once we let the host know, we were able to gain access. The house is lovely and well appointed, but not as clean as the previous reviews indicated. Maybe there was a gap from previous rentals and our stay. There were LOTS of “plug ins” that made for an overwhelming aroma. It was too much. Also, the ice maker was not functioning during our stay (not a big deal, really). Main bathroom didn’t smell great, think the shower curtain and tiles could use some bleach/cleansing. Ceiling fans in main floor bedrooms were VERY dusty. But the beds were comfy. Honestlly, this could be a great property - just needs to be cleaned more throughly. The house accommodated our family and we would stay again,

If you’re looking for a great location, house and great set up to host look no further! The backyard is great, extremely clean and communication was top tier. Would stay again!

Very comfortable and Clean

I stayed during Christmas with two other adults and a 3 year old. The house was exactly as described. The linens and bedding seemed to be new and the beds comfortable. It was very clean and well appointed. The hosts graciously put up a tree for us. The only thing I did not quite agree on is walking distance to downtown. Yes you could walk it, but it was more a than few blocks but a very short drive. I would recommend this house to friends and stay there again.

Great place and fun in Detroit !

House is very nice and worked well for our group of 4 friends. We enjoyed walking up the street to Crispellis for coffee and / or breakfast or lunch. We also enjoyed walking to Ale Mary’s and there were many other restaurants that we could walk to. House is centrally located in Royal Oak , Michigan - Easy drive to Motown Museum, Little Caesars Arena (downtown) , airport and we even drove over to Windsor , Canada one day for lunch. House was thoughtfully decorated and we had plenty of room. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Detroit.

Great place, great location!

We had a great experience staying at this property. We had a large group to accommodate and this place made it possible. The home was extremely clean when we arrived, and the owner was great about communicating with us. It was walking distance to downtown Royal Oak and a short drive to Detroit. We recommend it!

Very nice and clean place

We enjoyed our stay! It was a very pleasant experience. The house was very clean and cozy. We had friends and family coming over to celebrate after our wedding and everyone had a place to sleep because of the extra beds. Also it is less than 40 minutes away from the airport, which makes it easy for our out-of-town guests to travel. Would recommend Garrett's house to anyone visiting Metro Detroit.

Up to date modern decor

Soft jazz music played when entering the home. The decor was Beautiful in the home. Very clean, quiet neighborhood, the basement was huge and the patio deck was an added touch along with the fire pit. I give a 5 Star for the home of Garrett.
