This reservation is for 7 days and is non-refundable, but can be rescheduled at no cost with at least 30 days notice before your scheduled check-in date. Situated on the western side of the tip of Baja, overlooking the Pacific. This resort's 50-acre site and expansive private beach provides guests with a uniquely tranquil and secluded setting. As you pass through its gates and gaze upon the endless stretch of pristine coastline, you will know that something special lies ahead. Bathed in light from sunrise to sunset, this refuge of luxury is the ultimate destination for romance and seclusion.

Stunning views from everywhere on the resort. Fine restaurants and bars to keep you satisfied for weeks. Six pools, each providing towels, swim-up bar service, food to order, and gorgeous Pacific views. Free shuttle rides from the Market to sister resorts Rosé and Los Cabos in Cabo San Lucas take about 20 minutes. An easy walk, or a quick taxi or bike-taxi ride from there to the Marina or anywhere downtown Cabo, where many shops, bars, restaurants, night clubs, jewelry stores, Cabo Wabo, etc., await. You may want to schedule your shuttle ride back to Sunset Beach when you get off the shuttle at the Rosé. They depart every hour on the half-hour from there (until 10:30pm).

A few things we found useful to know about the Sunset Beach Resort:

Keep in mind that the following information is just from my own experiences and memory, and is not official PB Resort policy. Please check with the Resort for the most up to date info, if you have any questions.

Presentations: After you get checked in you will invariably be asked by a Resort Staff member if you’d like to attend a presentation with a Salesman about becoming an owner at the Resort. There is no obligation to attend. If you are interested, go ahead and sign up. You also have no obligation to buy. In return for your time, if you do decide to attend a presentation, the Resort will usually offer you comps in the form of Resort Credits. They will explain where and how Resort Credits can be used. Also, you can ask for a printout of your bill at any time from desk staff in the Main Lobby so you can keep an eye on your room charges.

During your resort stay, you’ll occasionally be asked by various Resort Staff if you’ve attended a presentation, or if you’d like to. This will usually be confined to the Main Lobby area, the Lobby Bar, and the Bistro Restaurant. It can be a bit annoying, but we just politely say we’ve already attended, or don’t care to. It’s their job…they want you to be an owner.

About All-Inclusive: This info is current as of early 2025 and is subject to change at any time. If you choose to purchase an all inclusive package, I believe everyone in your party must purchase the same package. Check with the resort to confirm and purchase. They will quite often have substantial owner discounts on the all inclusive packages which you can take advantage of. Check with the resort.

Golf cart shuttles:
Modified golf carts are used to efficiently move guests around the resort. You can call a cart from your room, or from an outside phone kiosk located near your building.

Shuttles from the Market at Sunset to sister resort Rosé near downtown Cabo San Lucas:
Schedule your shuttle ride at the Market. Large, comfortable, air-conditioned coaches depart to the Rosé every hour on the hour starting at 10 am, if I’m not mistaken. And, I believe the last shuttle to the Rosé departs at 10 pm. It takes a leisurely 20 minutes to make it there. Once you’re at the Rosé you can schedule your ride back to Sunset Beach at the kiosk just outside the entrance to the Rosé. The shuttle returns to Sunset Beach from the Rosé every hour on the half-hour. The last one departs at 10:30 pm, I believe.
