Kids first beach trip

We had a wonderful time staying here, between the beautiful beach and amazingly stocked kitchen and beach supplies we couldn't have asked for more. Communication with maintenance was easy and efficient. Already planning our next visit

Condo was as advertised. The adults only pool and large pool were very dirty and need maintenance.

Perfect for 2 friends.

I've been going to Gulf Shores with 1 good friend for 5 years and have stayed at Plantation East every time. This unit is perfect for 2 people who each want their own bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of room. We had a smaller unit one time and didn't enjoy it near as much. A week or 2 of traveling together--everyone needs some alone time or a place to be alone to relax and read.

We rented this condo for a trip to celebrate my daughter coming home after being gone with the Military for 317 days! We drove after picking her up in South Carolina, we had to pit stop in GA and then in Montgomery, we finally arrived a little before midnight! “Check in” was super easy, handed the guard our form for parking passes and that was it! Door Code was already sent prior. It was late and dark when we arrived so to wake up and see the beach and grounds in daylight was a nice surprise. The view of the beach was awesome! The condo was stocked with what we needed until we could get to the store. There is also vending onsite. The keurig did not work properly which was a little aggravating but we managed! Half of the outlets didn’t work but being a holiday weekend, I didn’t want to call and bother anyone! It was both bathroom outlets and the outlet by the sink in dining area. Probably a tripped breaker/easy fix. The beach wagon and chairs were great..there wasn’t an umbrella but we went and got one and left it there along with two low sitting beach chairs! There was a strong smell of “old wet smoky wood” but I put some dryer sheets out and it helped! Overall we enjoyed it very much just a few minor things that could improve but would definitely recommend and stay again! I loved how close the beach was and as soon as you step off the boardwalk the water is right there! You can rent chairs too! Pools and amenities were great as well as beds! Hope to be back soon!

A quick breaker reset and a replacement for the Keurig would’ve been an easy fix. We love hearing that you’d recommend us and look forward to welcoming you back for another stay at the beach!

Family memories

When we arrived it was a little confusing as to how to get to our room being there is construction going on. The construction also took out the indoor pool and hot tub that we were told was there. There was only one pool to our knowledge that we were allowed to use for our side and it stayed kinda busy. The other indoor pool and hot tubs were only for the visitors staying in The place next to us. They actually had access cards to get in. We did have a nice time overall though.

Guests from Michigan - Go green, go white!

This place was GREAT! The hosts are clearly passionate about providing a beautiful place and a positive experience to their guests. The guest book had helpful and useful information. Basically, the hosts had everything covered. The decor was beautiful and the condo was incredibly clean. There were extra blankets and pillows, games, books, and the kitchen stocked with cooking utensils. The closet had beach chairs, a wagon, sand toys and an umbrella. We even got an email this morning when it rained recommending indoor activities in the area. The security was great and we felt that the resort was a safe, friendly place. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and when we plan another trip to Gulf Shores this will be our first choice of places to stay. Thank you to our hosts from Ohio for a comfortable, fun filled happy vacation with no snags. A few days at the ocean with our feet in the sand was paradise and your place is amazing! You thought of everything and we appreciate you!

Safe vacation

Very safe neighborhood. Easy check in. Loved how close the beach was and they owners had everything we needed for the beach and for the kids. The umbrella and a chair for the beach was broken but I’m sure no one let them know that. I didn’t understand why we had to launder the towel’s. Overall great stay
