Welcome to our summer paradise! This home is conveniently located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, situated to enjoy the best of the small boutique towns on the southern side of the mountains. Itâs truly the perfect base for a family or group to enjoy the summer season.
Set on 6 secluded wooded acres, an easy drive outside will launch a hike to nearby streams, waterfalls, lakes, or even a bike ride at Ashokan Reservoir.
Inside, the home has three levels, providing cozy but contemporary accommodations. The main level great room has excellent flow between kitchen, dining and living areas, ideal for a group and for making sure the chef is never left out. Upstairs has a large principal bedroom and a lovely second bedroom with crib and twin bed; perfect for children who donât wish to sleep too far from their parents. The lower terrace level has the media room (with a queen sofa bed) and a full guest bedroom with en-suite bathroom and private walk-out to the garden, as well as the laundry area.
While the home exudes a traditional charm and comfort, it is outfitted with up to date features and conveniences such as Sonos and Apple TVâs.
Outside, the pines and evergreens provide a cozy wall of privacy as you enjoy the screened porch or the outdoor fire-pit. If weather permits, cooking a good steak on the grill to be enjoyed in front of the fireplace would be the perfect end to a great day!
Like all Upstate Place properties, this home has a crib, highchair, baby bath etc. available to make even the smallest guestâs stay welcoming and easy.

Cancellation and Insurance: We encourage all our guests to purchase travel insurance, whether through the OTA when offered at the time of booking, or through a third party. We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy.
Utility Outages: As Upstate New York can see itsâ fair share of inclement weather and is primarily a tree rich area with overhead power lines, please know we do not assume responsibility for utility outages during your stay. If electric, water or Wi-Fi service is impacted, we do not refund. Of course, if an outage were to persist for longer than 8 hours we would allow a cancellation without penalty.
Weather: During the winter months, there may be ice, snow, and hazardous conditions. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please ask about the plowing schedule for the house. Most driveways are plowed at or before 3â of accumulation.
Animals and Pests: The house is in a rural environment and surrounded by countryside, farms and wildlife. Although itâs wonderful to observe the eagles, deer, bears, and adorable chipmunks, it can also mean you will hear coyotes and foxes at night, and encounter the less cute mice, flies, snakes, ants, bees and ticks. There is very little to be done about it, but by keeping doors closed or screened and food in its appropriate storage, unwelcome guests will stay outside where they belong. All our properties benefit from scheduled pest control, but we are in a natural environment and we can not fortify the houses completely.
Cleaning Guarantee: We are very proud of our housekeeping team who go above and beyond. Because of their hard work and high professional standards, we are able to guarantee our cleaning to our guests. We take time stamped video and photos of the cleaned property and do not refund for any small issues found during a stay. Instead, should a guest feel that something is amiss or needs additional attention, we will gladly have a housekeeper attend the home to take care of it within 12 hours of an issue being reported.
This home may have weekly pool, lawn, and trash services as well as monthly pest control service. Service providers may access the exterior front yard, back yard, and pool deck during your stay to ensure the home is properly maintained.
Rental Agreement: Please know that we require all guests to sign a rental lease agreement.
