Awesome location!

The condo was perfect for our family of 5 with plenty of room, an amazing pool we used everyday and short walks to great restaurants, shopping, beaches, grocery stores, etc., etc. -- right in the heart of Puerto Vallarta. We'd definitely recommend it!

Absolutely AMAZING!

We loved everything about this property and the location! The condo unit itself was beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed for our family and family friends. The amenities at the condo with the pool and the swim bar were amazing. The food at the pool was so yummy that we literally just started eating there every day for lunch. I highly recommend this property. It will not disappoint as it's very centrally located and you can walk to restaurants and down the Malacon for shopping.

Perfect stay!

We had a wonderful time. The property is exactly as described, perfect location, gorgeous grounds & pool, and everything you could need in the apartment. We spent most of our time out on the huge deck, and not once did we hear any noise from the Malecón or neighbours. Check in was seamless and both Neal and Mario were helpful and responsive to all our questions. The location cannot be beat - our running joke was that everything was “4 minutes walk away,” according to Google. It was one of the best trips we’ve had and we’re already planning to go back next year.

Fantastic Stay – Perfect Spot for Our First Time in PV!

Our family of four stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. The property was spacious, clean, and in an excellent location – close to everything we needed but still quiet and relaxing. It was our first time in Puerto Vallarta, and this home made a great impression. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy some downtime. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!Naomi

I wish I could give greater than a five star rating

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this building during visits to Puerto Vallarta. The condo is luxurious, with great living space, large comfortable bedrooms and an outstanding terrace with pool and ocean views. The sunsets were breathtaking every night. It’s a quick walk to all beaches, shopping and restaurants. We will be back for sure!

Gorgeous unit in a fabulous complex

Molino de Agua is one of finest condo complexes in PV, and sits right on the Malecon. Walk everywhere. Warm pool in January was a nice surprise with exceptional poolside service.

Best Place to stay in PV Romantic Zone

This was a great unit for me and my family, and I can't say enough great things about it. The communication from the owner and property manager were great and everything went as planned. The location of the building is just the best, you have tons of choices of places to eat in town from street tacos, to higher end restaurants. The building has one of the largest pools in PV and is great for not only adults but kids as well. The swim up bar has an amazing staff with very good food options and a great drink menu with options for both kids and adults. For the drinks the prices are very reasonable, and the standard margarita has a very good tequila, and you can upgrade from there to very high-end choices if you wish. The units are just the best with a large kitchen with everything you need to cook meals, although we only used for a few breakfast and lunches. What I really appreciate is the unit is stocked with salt/pepper and other spices along with coffee filters so when you go to the store you don't have to buy all of those things. The unit also has plenty of beach and bathrooms towels, shampoo, soap and all of the things you would expect, but we have rented other units in this building that had very limited items like that which made it a little tough. The unit as a whole is just the best with large bedrooms and bathrooms, and the deck is large and spacious that everyone can sit outside and not feel crowded. We played cards nightly and it still feels very private.

perfect condo in the perfect spot

This spacious condo is in the heart of all that PV has to offer. Surrounded by fabulous restaurants, ocean boardwalk, lovely markets, and art galleries. Amazing pool and grounds, with swim-up bar selling cocktails and Mexican fare. Staff and host attentive to every need. If this place is available, reserve it quickly before it's gone!!!

Beautiful location and grounds

My two grown children, their partners, and one child stayed 10 days. Very nicely appointed kitchen, large bedrooms, and beautiful decks. Easy walking to most places we wanted to go. Pool was nice and the staff very friendly. Very quiet also which we liked. The stove and oven stopped working, but it was fixed by the next day. Our only suggestion is to have more seating in the living room—there weren’t enough chairs for 6 people, and the living room furniture was not the most comfortable. Neal was easy to communicate with and had great follow up. I would definitely recommend this condo and would stay there again!

Beautiful condo, awesome pool, perfect spot in town!!

Neal’s place was absolutely amazing! From the moment we got there we were greeted by Carlos who made sure everything in the condo was good to go. It was 5 adults and the condo was very spacious for all of us. Amazing balcony to enjoy coffee at in the morning. The pool and pool staff was AMAZING! Also easily walkable from tons of good restaurants and bars. I highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be back!!

Great stay in central PVR

My wife and I along with our adult daughter and a friend recently spent a week at Neal's condo. The location is the best that you can have if you want to be in town. It is directly on the malecon and next to the river. There are many restaurants and bars a short walk from the condo, yet the location is very quiet at night. The unit itself is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The building has a very nice infinity pool with a pool side/swim up bar and grill

Absolutely perfect holiday

After being on pandemic lockdown for >1 year, my family and i were eager to enjoy a week in Puerta Vallarta. Neal and Theresa's condominium could not have been any more perfect. Fabulous location (steps from the beach and in the Zona Romantica), excellent pool, beautiful sunset views, lovely indoor and outdoor space, attentive local staff. I would recommend to anyone! We hope to visit again soon.

Perfection!

The purpose of our trip was to introduce our grandchildren to the Mexico we love and have visited for the past 25 years. Knowing PV well, we carefully chose Molina de Agua location for its size, beautiful accommodations, pool, beautiful grounds and proximity to all we wanted to share with them. It couldn't have been more perfect and we succeeded in giving them an introduction to Mexico and a memory for a lifetime with their grandparents.

Fabulous Property in the Best Location

This is the 6th time I’ve stayed at Molina de Agua and my 2nd time in Neal’s condo. I’ll never stay anywhere else. The property is superb...extremely well kept, secure and with a friendly, helpful staff. We had everything we needed at the condo. It is super clean and furnished with all amenities. Neal was easily accessible before the trip if I had questions and the property management team made check in /out very easy and was accessible anytime we needed them. I will definitely stay there again.

Molina de Agua is the best

We have stayed at Molina de Agua before and it is by far the best place to stay in the area. This was the easiest check in and out process we have had yet. Security and on site staff are the best. (I should mention the majority of my family and some friends went and we occupied many rooms on the property) Our room this time was rather plain. No TV's in any rooms, not decorated to host, wall mounts instead of central a/c. It was very very plain, but the owner was very kind as well as responsive and the manager was phenomenal so it wasn't a bust either, just wanting to be fair to potential occupants. MY family specifically would just prefer certain amenities so i would prefer a different unit next time. Our family members, plus prior units I have stayed in were set up much better and you could just tell the owners really invested more into their units.

A candid review

The unit was immaculate. The grounds were well kept and manicured. The pool was clear, clean and warm.(87F) Our stay was August 13-19, 2023, and though warm and humid as expected most of the shops and restaurants were open and very few tourists. The service at the restaurants and bars was excellent and all staff, whether at the property or outside the property, were genuinely friendly and pleasant. Our host was very helpful and responsive and the property management company was conscientiousness. The location was incredible, on the beach and easy walking distance to a myriad of restaurants. The food was spectacular and pricing from cabs to breakfast, lunch and dinner was reasonable. Drinks at the pool were a bit on the high side.

Malino de Aqua New Years 2024

Neil’s place was exactly as described. Check in was fine. The condo was 108 second floor - absolutely fantastic. Stunning open concept. My wife & I & oldest daughter & her husband & my youngest adult daughter thoroughly enjoyed the condo. Condo location phenomenal. This wasn’t our 1st time to PV but condo & location were best by far. Condo has everything - easily accommodates 3 couples (or families). Lots of room - great views. We bbq’d streak & shrimp for new years & sipped Prosecco provided by Neil on the huge deck. Ate most breakfasts & lunches in suite but walked to many different restaurants for supper & to markets & events along the Malecón. Book it - it is great! The Pros and Cons

Pros: The location is great. Right in the middle of anything you would like to do. The communication was good with the person on site via WhatsApp (Alicia). She even scheduled our COVID testing appointment and got a good deal on it for the family. PROS: They keep the grounds very clean and very pretty. It's very quiet as well. PROS: There is an Oxxo right across from the condo. A little mini store to buy drinks/candy/etc. There is also a market about 3 blocks away to buy any groceries you want. CONS: Needs a bigger trashcan in the kitchen. There was only a small bathroom size trashcan under the sink. It doesn't work well. I'd suggest investing $20 into a larger trashcan. CONS: Though the condo is right on the beach, there is NO beach access for renters. Again, NO beach access for renters. In order to get to the beach that is literally steps away from the condo, you must walk out of the main entrance and around the block. It's about 1/4 mile walk compared to a few steps. Only "Owners" of the condo are allowed to use the entrance/exit that leads right onto the boardwalk/beach. Renters are looked down upon by the owners. This is a really old community of owners and I guess they are set in their ways so they can enjoy the last bit of their lives before they pass. They like things quiet. They don't like kids jumping into the pool, they don't like music being played where others can hear it. The people that work at the condo will politely ask you to not do certain things and they tell you it's because the Owners don't like it and have made these rules (that we don't have access to). CONS: The Beach. There is a river that flows pretty rapidly beside the condo. This washes brown fresh water straight into the ocean. Locals don't swim immediately in front of the condo because of rocks covering the whole bottom once you get in the water and even alligators or crocodiles or whatever is in the area they say. In order to get to a rock free beach, you must walk about 1/2 mile to the south (on the other side of the pier). We spent most of our time here and the beach was great. Overall a nice place.

We enjoy Puerto Vallarta's good food, ocean views, and friendly locals. Molino de Agua is an amazing location on the south end of the Malecon and in the Romantic Zone. Puerto Vallarta is a little piece of heaven on Earth!

The ground personnel were outstanding.
They did not miss a beat.
We felt so safe.

I was leery of being on a lower floor. While the view of the ocean was not as grand as it is from up higher you can still see it. But you have an amazing view of the grounds of Molino which are amazing. One thing that was really great is that being on the lower level on the side of the building we were on is that there was no noise. Our friends in the Pent House were not able to sleep with their windows open because of the dance club that is near by which thumps away until 5am. From our unit you heard NO NOISE at all and were able to sleep with the windows open. It gets an incredible cross breeze. Leading up to the trip Mr. Greenbaum, the owner, was great.
