Fully Renovated rural cottage in the perfect spot!
Beautiful, newly remodeled two-bedroom home. Sleeps 6 in the house with each upstairs bedroom featuring Queen beds and a pull-out couch that extends into a memory foam Queen in the living room. If more room is needed, your party may book two 50-amp camper sites with full hookups for $80/night per site (inquire at time of booking). These are just sites for you to bring your RV's. Spacious, private yard with plenty of room for outdoor fun and games. Large covered front porch and rear stamped concrete patio with provided propane grill and plenty of outdoor seating. Located on the historic Vintage Grand Prix Road Course two miles from downtown and walking distance to the Watkins Glen State Park/Gorge entrance. Washing machine and dryer are located in a separate upstairs closet for your convenience. Minutes from Watkins Glen International race track, the Seneca Lake winery/brewery trail, Seneca Lake pier, quaint downtown Watkins Glen, and the Corning Museum of Glass. Perfect for car enthusiasts who would benefit from a U-shaped driveway for plenty of room to maneuver and park your car haulers/trailers. Listen for the train whistle echoing through the gorge cliffs as the locomotive approaches Station road on the historic Norfolk Southern tracks. Relax and enjoy nights under the stars at the provided firepit in the quiet, peaceful back yard.
Property located across the road from the upper entrance of Watkins Glen state park; we were able to walk right in! The house has a nicely manicured yard and the inside was clean and modern with all amenities listed. Plenty of linens and extras available for our stay. The four adults in our party enjoyed the outdoor back patio furniture as well as the covered front porch. The circular, turn around drive was great for entering/exiting from the road and for parking. We would definitely book again when coming back to the area!
Property was beautiful, well equipped, well designed and very clean. However, the one selling point for us was that it had a sofabed (we were 5 adults) and the sofabed was impossible to sleep on. The mattress is paper thin and you can feel every spring/metal bar on the frame. What made the situation even worse was that the bed itself was actually broken so a third of the bed was completely collapsed. I had to sleep sideways on one third of the bed. I let the host know the first day and he shared that he did not know about the broken bed. He provided no resolution, even after I asked him if he had an air mattress. If we were 2 people on the sofabed we would not have slept. A bit disappointing that we were inconvenienced with no offer to resolve the matter.
Great location. Close to town.Very clean. We enjoyed the trip very much. Two small things that would be nice are another chair inside to sit and eat around the island and an overhead light on the front porch. Overall a great place and we will keep it in mind in the future.
Great locationâjust a short walk to the North entrance of the Watkins Glen Gorge Trail. Easy access in and out, which made exploring the area super convenient. The full-size coffee pot was a nice touch, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. A comfortable and convenient place to stay!
We stayed here last year and loved it, so we decided to come back and visit again. We love that the location is close to Watkins Glen, but far enough away that itâs peaceful and relaxing. The place was clean and ready when we arrived. We will be back!
My wife and I had a great stay at this property. This is our second time visiting, once in winter, once in summer. The property is a great base for the local hiking spots, and just steps from the upper entrance to Watkins Glen State Park.We also spent time at the raceway for IMSA, just a short 10 minute drive. We'll definitely be back again.
This home was a beautiful cottage that had everything one would need to feel at home. We all had a fabulous time in Watkins Glen, appreciating the surrounding nature, shops and good restaurants in the area. Would recommend this home for future lodgers.
We had a good time, we stayed for 4 nights and it was beautiful, the property is nice and super clean! All of the amenities are practically new and clean. Two full bathrooms upstairs and a toilet downstairs which is very convenient, with external seating areas on both sides of the house, however if you plan to dine inside the chairs are seated 2 and 2 and not together. The front porch is amazing because we got to seat out even when it rained. The house of located a bit remotely and gets super pitch black out at night, there are external lights of the property but no street lighting. The water is supplied by a pump and one of the nights we lost power for six hours due to a thunderstorm and we didnât have any water and no lights once it got dark.
This charming home is in the perfect location. Easy walking distance to the state park, close to the wineries and to the town. It had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The host had quick response time and answered any questions I had. I would definitely rent this home again!!
Great set-up for co-workers on a work trip to Watkins Glen. We each had our own full bathroom plus an extra half bath downstairs. In the morning and evening, deer filled the field behind the house.
Had a great time. House was great and had everything we could need. Great location. Quiet and easy to get to town. Sofabed could use some TLC. Husband and I didnt last 5 minutes on it. Slept on sofa and love seat. Overall it was a wonderful getaway with friends.
The house was spotless. The location was close to downtown Watkins Glenn. We had all the luxuries of a hotel in a house. I would definitely recommend this house.
The home was so clean and beautiful. Drew was a great host. He was available and quick to answer any questions we presented. The location is a perfect home base whether you are hiking, snowshoeing or visiting the wineries of the Finger lakes. We really enjoyed that it was on a beautiful piece of property across from state land and just outside of town. The best of both worlds. We hope to visit again!
House was exactly as described. Location was great. Near hiking trails, wineries and places to eat. Drew was great to work with. Will definitely be back!
