Stay in this comfortable house and live like a true local in the heritage town of Kenmare. Our rental comes with 3 bedrooms, super fast Wi-Fi, free parking, and we're within walking distance to a wide choice of cosy pubs, award winning restaurants and bars. Nestles between the mountains of Kerry and Cork this is the ideal location to stay in and explore both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.

The space:
The Little Nest truly is the perfect house for your summer vacation, ideal for a family traveling with children or a group of friends looking for accommodation with easy access to town.

Ground floor:
The specious living room has a sofa plus a comfy sofa bed. The house has a super-fast WiFi/Broadband and a Smart TV available for you to use.

Fully equipped kitchen and a dining area with double doors leading to a patio with outdoor sitting.

Guest toilet and washing machine. Please note that there is no tumble dryer in the house.
Drying rack available and there is a near by launderette in town.

First floor:
Upstairs the main bedroom has a Super King bed and a private en suite with a shower.

The 2nd bedroom has a comfy double bed, desk and chair.

And the 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed for the kids (or for the kids at heart….)

Travel cot and stairgate available.

Main bathroom with a bathtub available.

Guest access
The house is just a short stroll from the town centre so you will be able to access all of what Kenmare has to offer by foot, just park your car and and walk through the walking path straight into town, you won't have to worry about using your car for the entire stay.

Convenient and cute!

We loved Kenmare! This house was incredibly convenient to the heart of town, and was tidy and had everything we could need. Our host was great at communicating, and had terrific suggestions for food and coffee. Highly recommend this spot!

Kenmare first!

Enjoyed the town, surroundings, and historical sites! Could not have asked for a better location to stay. We walked into town for everything and had a clean quiet place to return every night.

We had a lovely visit to kenmare. The house was charming with a well appointed kitchen. The manager was very prompt in returning calls. We will come again!

Great location in a great town!

The Little Nest was the perfect location for exploring Kenmare and surrounding area. You can walk downtown for all the shops, restaurants and pubs. The energy on the streets was always vibrant and enthusiastic! For driving to Killarney, the house is located on the outskirts of town so you can hit the main road without having to navigate through all the shoppers in the downtown. Then house is well stocked throughout. We cooked amazing meals with local produce and lamb. Communications with Catherine Ann were excellent. Immediate responses to every request and question we had. Kenmare is a great town to visit and great location for touring the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and Killarney National Park. And The Little Nest is the perfect house to relax in at the end of the day.

Perfect place to stay for the Ring of Kerry!

Lovely home for a family of five. Very clean and spacious. Great spot in Kenmare. The host was very attentive, making sure we got in okay and everything was in order. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

The house was exactly what we wanted for our stay in Kenmare - comfortable and great location with just a short walk to town. It was a great central point to all our vacation destinations in Kerry and Cork.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

The odor throughout the property of mildew/dirt scent were unbearable. There was mold all around Both showers, dish rack was rusted, couches were stained and had a bad odor to that also, sheets were worn so bad that it there were holes, backyard is a view of broken apart fence and neighborhood consisted of multiple empty properties that were very unkept and appeared abandoned. We had to leave early due to the BAD odors, we informed host immediately and were told we would get refunded. Host later emailed informing me she was not going to refund and wouldn't discuss further. We do not agree with the owners explanation of new paint/carpet for reason of odor. It was FAR beyond any paint or carpet scent. I hope this review helps someone to not waste their money on this place with a Host that will Not even respond to requests.

Odor

There was a strong odor throughout the house and it smelled like cat urine. Two out of four of us are allergic and had to take meds. Otherwise, it was a very nice place and appreciated the great instructions. Thank you.

Close to town center

Nice location within easy walking distance to town. Unit was certainly adequate for our needs. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time we were there. But that’s Ireland, isn’t it?

Great two-story home stay near Kenmare town

We loved everything about this place: a lovely walk to town, a nice back yard, spacious bed and living room areas. Verrrry comfortable. And Kenmare is a big small town with great live trad music pubs!

Perfect Irish cottage experience great location.

Very clean and cozy. Plenty of beds, very comfortable. well appointed kitchen. Lots of hot water. Usb charging station is bedrroms were super convenient. Convenient location to town center and groceries. Excellent communication. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great location and cozy house

This is a great spot for a visit to Kenmare and the surrounding area, including Killarney National Park. The home is clean, cozy and well located, within a short walk to the town center along a well-lit sidewalk and path in a residential area. Parking right outside the house is a real bonus!

Great spot in Kenmare

Pros: Quiet street Plenty of space Clean and neat Kitchen essentials like coffee, teas, salt, pepper are provided Kitchen works great Cleaning essentials provided Super easy check in and out Walking distance to great restaurants, shops and grocery Plenty of hot water Internet fast enough to stream Netflix Washer on site Beds and towels, shampoo etc onsite Hair dryer available Cons: Warer heater makes quite a noise anytime water is used so plan your showers dueing waking hours accordingly Katharine Ann was a joy to work with. I actually messed up my reservation and was short a day. She was super accommodating and extended our stay. Very responsive. Would highly recommend The Little Nest
