Venez et restez à Knockcarrig House et vous trouverez votre équilibre idéal entre ville et campagne. Notre propriété nouvellement construite est située sur le bord de notre ferme privée de 20 acres, à moins de 5 minutes en voiture de Killarney.

Situé juste à côté de la N22 dans le quartier résidentiel de Lissivigeen, le Knockcarrig House constitue un pied-à-terre idéal pour visiter le Ring of Kerry, la péninsule de Dingle et le Ring of Beara. Des champs de verdure entourent la maison et en été, vous trouverez notre bétail profitant de toute la belle herbe que la nature a à offrir :)

Une vie à la campagne élégante vous attend à la Knockcarrig House. Certaines parties de l'intérieur sont tirées du paysage naturel - de la teinte dorée du foin en été aux férides digitales roses que l'on trouve dans les fossés de pierre moussue. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain avec deux possédant à la fois une baignoire et une douche séparées.

Profitez de fabuleux repas à notre table en chêne de 10 places conçue sur mesure, située dans notre salle à manger panoramique offrant une vue sur la montagne et les prairies. Détendez-vous le soir avec un bon livre devant un feu de cheminée ou défiez quelqu'un à une partie d'échecs: le gagnant ne doit pas faire la vaisselle!

Truly the best host and house!

The house is perfection in a wonderful and serene location next to two sweet cows who we fell in love with. It’s excellently appointed with everything you could need and Noelle is such a lovely and accommodating host. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Can’t wait to return to our new Irish home away from home.

House was perfect for a group of 10. Great communication with Noelle. Living area was fantastic and the children loved looking out at the cows in the field. Great location and proximity to town center and grocery stores.

Very Nice

Host communicated very well. We had a wonderful time. The house is clean and conveniently located. Easy to call a taxi to town to avoid fighting for parking and also having the freedom to enjoy some drinks and not worry about driving. I highly recommend this house if you are planning to stay near Killarney.

Our family of 6 adults and 3 children was extremely comfortable. There is so much room to roam around this home. This house is a 10 star house, and I would rate this higher if possible. Our grandchildren named the cows Elsie & Gracie who welcomed us every day. Noelle was so nice and available to any of our needs. If you are considering a trip to this area, this should only be the house you consider. Clean, new, perfect location. Excellent host.

Phenomenal Experience

Our stay here was beyond what we expected. The home is perfect for a more intimate family experience. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise on the patio in the mornings, dining together and game nights. Noelle went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend.

The Best

This was the second time we stayed at this property. Th owner is super friendly and welcoming. We all absolutely love everything about the house. The house size, the coziness, the cleanliness we all perfect. If we get back to Ireland we would stay for a third time. The best place for a family.

A wonderful, clean, beautiful home and property

We had 6 adults stay in Noelle's home for 3 nights. Noelle met us when we arrived and showed us around the home, which is spacious, clean, modern, and charming. The home had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, and even some perks we did not expect. The home is conveniently located to Killarney's sights and we had no problem driving out for local day trips. It's in a quiet, relaxing, serene location. I'm happy to recommend this property to anyone - adults, families with kids, etc. We all would gladly come back again.

A true gem!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Noelle's place! The house is beautiful, clean, and so charming. We had everything we needed and we loved seeing the cows in the yard each day (my daughter named them Milky and Mooey ). The location was also perfect as it was just a short drive into Killarney town center, the national park, and other site-seeing locations. Noelle was a wonderful host, very responsive and caring about our stay, showed me everything in the house upon check in, and even left us a very thoughtful gift basket of food that we enjoyed. I would absolutely stay here again if I find myself lucky enough to go back to Killarney!

Knock Carrig house was simply amazing. A large group of us stayed for a week with three children and this house provided ample space for them to run around outside, playing and looking at the cows. Inside we had more than enough rooms for all of us to sleep in and what a treat to have a bathroom in each room!! The children loved the sitting / games / reading room and the adults tended to hang out in the gorgeous kitchen and huge eating room. The host did a really wonderful job of decorating the home, LOVED the local art!!! We got to know a taxi company as we did not have our own vehicle but this was fine (and we knew ahead of time this would be the case). Our host was very very generous and left a beautiful welcome basket which was REALLY appreciated by all of us!! We would very much recommend this location and would stay here again. A true gem!!

Delightful stay

The 7 of us enjoyed our stay with Noelle and her home exceeded our every expectation! It was homey yet incredibly spacious, lots of room to gather together or to find a quiet spot. I’ve never stayed in a VRBO that was so well stocked! Your every need was anticipated! We enjoyed cooking meals together. The chest full of unopened pantry staples left for us was immediately appreciated! Everything from fine Butlers Chocolates to Irish butter to milk and eggs and Irish Brown bread to coffee and tea! Wow! My favorite STR by far and the hospitality was genuine! Thank you, thank you! We are truly grateful! The Whalen Family

Stunning home!

We rented this amazing spot when my husband and I and our siblings travelled to Ireland. The home was stunning! Spacious, elegant, spotless and beautifully appointed. It was a beautiful peaceful spot and allowed us all to relax, cook together and enjoy a wonderful reunion. Our hostess Noelle was fantastic! Highly recommend this beautiful spot!

Fiona is an amazing and gracious host. Arriving with a guest basket of high quality goodies, fresh baked bread and wine. Wonderful, cozy, bright clean home. So close to the Ring of Kerry gateway, and the fun town of Killarney. A must rent in the south of Ireland!

Fabulous stay

We had a fabulous stay at the house! It was a group of 7 of us including 3 kids. Noelle was so welcoming and went over everything with us so we knew where everything was and the house was perfectly stocked. We had so much room and the kids enjoyed looking at the cows and playing in the grass. It was a great location for Killarney activities. 100/10, would recommend over and over again!

More than expected

We (3 families) stayed at this property to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday. It was even better than the pictures and our expectations. The host, Noelle, was generous and accommodating. The property was impeccably clean and very comfortable. Conveniently located near the shops and national park. We hope to visit again!

Welcome to Knockcarrig House, Killarney, Ireland!

Here we offer a little bit of Irish country living in Killarney to holidaymakers. We built Knockcarrig on the edge of our private 20 acre cattle farm which is less than a 10 minute drive to the town centre of Killarney.
'Knockcarrig' comes from the Irish language which means hill of the stones. As farmers who feel an incredible link to the land, it was only fitting to call our house after the farm land on which it is found.

If you were to literally start digging in the fields, you would find plenty of stones in the earth! Traditionally these stones were then used to build walls to divide the fields of the farm. And as for the hill part- well if you were to walk from one end of the farm to the other, you would find yourself climbing a little hill which gives you a panoramic view of the magnificent McGillicuddy Reek mountains!
