Our home features spacious open-plan living to enjoy time together or find a quiet nook for yourself. Relax on the 3 porches or take a walk to the gazebo (w/firepit), and watch out for cheeky deer wandering through! Enjoy canopy views with a book in hand or wind down in our private sauna and wellness room after exploring the mountains....

Lots of things to do, really cool waterfall up the road. Overall excellent place to stay and the kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs.

Great place to stay

We stayed at The Canopy for a wedding at The Vineyards at High Holly. It was a great location just minutes away so it made everything so easy to get to. The house is just as pictured and was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely like to come back and visit the area again. Marilyn is very responsive to anything we asked and we felt right at home. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Canopy! Home is clean, comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen has everything you need plus some extras. It has plenty of room and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. If we come back to this area, would happily stay here again.

Amazing getaway in Sky Valley!

We had a wonderful stay at the canopy! Everything was nice and clean, the hosts were very accommodating, and the home offered plenty to do for a family of 6. Not to mention, it’s a short and scenic drive to places like the Highlands and other local attractions. I’ll definitely look this place up if we’re ever back in the area!

Perfect little home base!

We really loved this place! It's in a perfect spot to springboard into any place in Northern GA or WNC withing 2 hours. I loves the uniqueness of having to travel into NC to get to a town in GA! And not to mention there's a giant waterfall 5 min from the house! The master bed is probably the most comfortable bed I've slept on in any VRBO! Check in and check out is a breeze as well! Loved this spot and loves this trip!

Wonderful Time at The Canopy

Our family loved The Canopy house! We all three of us were constantly saying how wonderful every space indoors and outdoors were! It was very cozy and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and we all slept well. The outdoor spaces were where I spent day time hours when at the house! The front porch was my favorite place for morning coffee as I thoroughly enjoyed the cool temps and listening to the birds! I would definitely stay there again!

Relaxing and Comfortable

Great property and location. Very well equipped and clean. Great amenities, screened porch and fire pit that we used for dinners and spent each night around the fire pit. We were 10 miles from Highlands NC and Clayton Ga. The owner was responsive when we contacted her.

Relax and Unwind

We can't put into words how amazing this property was for our group. The hosts (Marilyn and Rita) were simply wonderful. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, gazebo was great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a late night cocktail, the front and back porches were great for conversations and lots of laughter. We will be booking again!!

Perfect family house!

We loved staying in this house for a long weekend to attend a wedding. We were most impressed with the sleeping arrangements. It’s not everyday you find a VRBO house with amazing beds/mattresses! We slept great at this house! The kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. My daughter left her beloved stuffy behind and the host mailed it to us ASAP. We are so grateful! 10 out of 10 recommend; we would 100% stay here again.

Mother Daughter weekend

What a great home!! Tucked in the mountains and very spacious, this house is beautifully decorated and comes with anything you might need! We spent most of our time in Highlands (15-20 min pretty drive), but wished we had more time to stay around the house and hike! Hope to come back and stay in the fall to see the leaves!!

We had the absolute BEST time. The house is lovely and cozy and beautiful and perfect! We rested, talked, and enjoyed each other’s company in the beautiful mountains and the weather was perfect! Marilyn is the epitome of a kind, gracious host and had every tiny detail perfect when we arrived. She was attentive and sweet even with some random things we needed with the timing of our coming and going, we will be back!
