This was a wonderful getaway for me and my husband. We loved the property!! Communication from Nicole was great. The unit was cozy and cutely decorated. My husband has a great time fly fishing, and we enjoyed so much of the charm of the Historic district of Redstone! In fact, I talked up our time so much I have a good friend that booked 3 units in September. We will be back.

Really enjoyed the stay and will be back again. So much fun to be on the beautiful Crystal River, nice to sleep with that beautiful sound as well. Outstanding stay with no complaints.

Wedding weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The property is clean, comfortable, and sit on the river in the heart of Redstone. We live nearby, but felt like we were on vacation. A short walk to the Redstone Inn where our friends tied the knot.

Amazing stay on the river

My boyfriend, dog, and I really enjoyed our stay here! The place is in a cute mountain town and right on the river. Nicole was super communicative and accommodating when we had to change our dates last minute. Place was cozy, clean, and secure!

Lovely views all around, comfortable, clean accomodations. A small dustpan and brush kept in the unit would be helpful to clean up after yourself. Loved it so much!

Weekend in Redstone

The studio was perfect for a weekend centered around hiking to Crystal Mill with my partner. We loved that the place was truly right on the river with steps down to it, a patio and fire pit, grills, and chairs to enjoy the sunshine and water. It was clean, the kitchenette had everything we needed, and the grounds were really well kept.

Nice Little Getaway Place With One Exception

My husband and I spent a long weekend at this property as we celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary. It is a lovely setting and a quaint and comfortably appointed room. Very clean, quiet and charming with the exception of the bed. While we would love staying here again, we would not do so unless the mattress was replaced. The current mattress sags and is covered by an upside down egg crate foam topper that does not provide any support. Thankfully we had nearby hot springs to ease our aches and pains. Redstone is a wonderful little village. We walked along the snow-covered Main Street, bought handmade sourdough bread from the General Store and loved looking through Tiffany of Redstone Antique Store right next door to this unit. The Crystal River Villas are located along the picturesque Crystal River with mountain views.

Hi Cythia, Thank you so much for your feedback! The mattresses were purchased in 2017 from Denver Mattress Company and the topper to add extra comfort. It sounds like we need to look into replacing it and I appreciate you letting us know that the mattress wasn't to your liking.

Beautiful Property in Redstone

This property is really beautiful on the outside. However, the person that is managing the property was very rude to me via text message & over the phone. She gave me the wrong room information so when we got to the property, we accidentally opened the wrong unit and saw that there was stuff in the unit. When I called the property manager to get her help, she was rude to me and asked me how I got that unit information and I told her it was sent to me through the VRBO messaging system, which was supposedly direct communication with her. She then was very condescending in tone to me and started telling me that I was in the wrong because she gave me the wrong information and wrong room number and code. After speaking with her, she finally gave me the right room information and code, but only apologized after she was very rude and disrespectful to me via VRBO messages and on the phone. The room itself wasn’t very clean. There was a half used bottle of body wash in the shower, the sheets had visible signs of dirtiness on them. The carbon monoxide detector wasn’t working and was placed in a cabinet above the microwave. There was food left in the freezer from another guest. There were ice packs left in the freezer from another guest. I was very disappointed in this unit and the way I was treated. This is not my first time being at this location and every other time I came I had a pleasant experience with no issues. It makes me very worried to come back here.

We also sent follow-up information through the VRBO messaging system. Our team aims to provide respectful and helpful service at all times, and we’re disappointed to hear you felt otherwise. We have reviewed our communication, and while we regret any frustration caused by the initial mix-up, we respectfully disagree with the characterization of the interaction. As for the condition of the unit, we take cleanliness very seriously. Our housekeepers follow a strict cleaning protocol, and we maintain photo documentation of each unit prior to guest check-in. No concerns were reported to us during your stay regarding cleanliness, items in the freezer, or the carbon monoxide detector, or we would have been happy to address them promptly. We value all guest feedback as it helps us grow, but we do want to note that this review does not reflect the standard of service we strive to provide or the experience we believe most guests receive when staying with us.

We had an awesome 4th of July weekend stay at the villa. It was clean and well appointed. The Crystal River by the backyard is amazing! Beautiful views and very relaxing. Town of Redstone is a sweet little artsy town and we could do the Crystal Mills hike from Marble where we also saw stone sculptors carving beautiful pieces from local marble!
