The Boho Box Hop is the second design from the builders/owners of The Box Hop! A more intimate setting that is perfect for a couples getaway (though it sleeps four comfortably with the pull out bed on the first floor).
You will have all the luxuries of a secluded getaway with solitude and peace while being only a few miles from the main highway (Route 33) and close to all that Hocking Hills has to offer.

Located in the heart of the Hocking Hills region, we are just minutes away from all the great hiking and exploring. We are also very easy access to the highway (1.5 miles from our drive) so that you can easily travel to the local grocery, restaurants, zip-lining and more.

You will have the entire home and 18.5 acres to explore.

The Boho Box Hop is made out of 2 intermodal shipping containers. It is unique in design and architecture. Similar vibe to a tiny home, The Boho utilizes compact living, using every space creatively to live the simple life. There is a lofted king bed in the upstairs and there is a convertible pull out bench on the first for extra sleeping spaces. There is also a wood-burning fireplace inside to enjoy and a large soaking tub in the bathroom.

Outside you are surrounded by eighteen+ wooded acres and have access to a deck with a 2 person hammock. You can enjoy the scenes of nature sitting by the outdoor chiminea or soaking in the 6 person hot tub.

From the lofted bedroom there is a small balcony where you can enjoy the morning with a cup of coffee or sit in the evening and take in the night sky.

To note: the driveway is a long gravel driveway that has a few steep spots and turns. The parking area is situated about 150 feet from the house with a walking path to the front door.

Beautiful Boxhop stay

We LOVED our recent stay at the BoHo boxhop! They have truly thought of every detail! The place was immaculate, and the decor was straight out of a magazine! It was close to all the trails we wanted to try, only 10 minutes to great food and great coffee. The grounds were well taken care of, and every detail or question was thoughtfully answered before we even asked the question. Would love to stay at one of the other properties as well, I have no doubt they are just as impeccably done!!

Such a special place! Beautifully decorated, clean, and stocked with all the essentials needed. This is the 4th BoxHop property I've stayed at and they're each wonderful in their own unique way. I highly recommend any of them for a getaway to the Hocking Hills region! I'm already looking into when I can return for another BoxHop stay. Everything was perfect.

Amazing Couples Getaway to The BoHo Box Hop!

We had an amazing last-minute getaway to The BoHo Box Hop! The hosts were attentive, and it was just the weekend escape we needed. Very close to the heart of Hocking Hills hiking/food, easy to find, and great amenities. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Perfect place for hot tubing under the stars, waking up to the sunshine through the beautiful windows, outdoor fire for a cozy night, playing games, and taking a bath with music through Bluetooth. We loved it so much at The BoHo Box Hop, we spent the majority of our trip here! The perfect place to recharge with your spouse!!

Wonderful romantic retreat. Really beautiful and relaxing. Kudos to the designer. It’s adorable. Waking up surrounded by serenity in the trees was regenerating.

The perfect Getaway!

We loved our stay at BoHo Box. It was exactly as pictured and so cute! It rained the whole time we were there, but being cozy in that bed with that view was delightful! 2 helpful tips for other guests: bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in and there’s no tv upstairs so bring a tablet if you want to ‘Netflix and Chill’. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend to friends!

Fantastic experience in the woods. Great amenities. You will get the best sleep in the king size bed with huge windows and skylights. We will definitely book again. Super close to hiking and lots of attractions. They have 6 different dwellings and we will be interested in trying out the different designs. A class act in the woods.

The Cutest Spot and Best Stay!

My husband and I stayed here 4/6-4/8 and loved every minute! Every detail was so thoughtfully carried out in the design and everything was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and we loved waking up feeling like we were up in the trees. The outside area was so nice to enjoy and we were so impressed with all of the amenities that fit into the inside. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spot with us! We will be back.

Cozy Stay

We stayed 2 nights at the BoHo for our mini moon after our wedding. It was the perfect place for a retreat together after a wonderful busy week/weekend. The place is cozy, comfortable, and while it is not very big, it still has everything you need!

Nearly every inch of the space is thoughtfully used/designed and outdoor amenities/spaces are easily accessible. The abundance of windows and the views are much better than any photos can depict.

What a magical place to stay! Hours before my stay here I had proposed to my girlfriend. The moment we showed up to the BoHo box she was even more excited about the day! We spent the entire weekend hiking and recovering in the hot tub at the BoHo. It’s just such a beautiful spot and such a well done container home. No doubt would I stay there again in the future, it was so nice and unique!

Just perfect

This is our 2nd stay at a Box Hop property and both have been so perfect. This property has 3 different Box Hops made from shipping containers and the first 2 were so perfect I can't wait to stay at the 3rd. They make it so easy to both check in and check out and navigate the home and the surrounding area. I find that it's a fine line between too much information and labeling, not enough and just right and the way they do it is just right. The Boho is curated and furnished in such a cool way that lets you know you are in a special place. Everything worked well and was clean and ready for our visit. The deck area had the perfect outdoor entertainment area with seating around an outdoor fireplace and a sauna that all worked perfectly. It came stocked with firewood for the outdoor fireplace and an indoor wood stove (we did not end up using the indoor one due to unseasonable warm weather) and they have extra wood for purchase via venmo on the property. The upstairs included a large and comfortable bed and an outdoor deck with chairs. I think this is a perfect spot for two people and for more people if you were entertaining outdoors. There is a pull out bed from the breakfast nook seating area that could give more space for 1 or 2 more people to stay but that would make things pretty tight. For my wife and I it was perfect. Also even though there are 3 different homes on this property they are far enough apart that it does not affect your enjoyment of the property in any way. Can't wait to stay at my next Box Hop property.

Cute tiny home close to all things Hocking Hills

Super clean. Very cozy. We loved our weekend stay at this tiny home. The hot tub was very clean. We had trouble with the internet due to a cell service issue, the host responded promptly with suggestions. It’s located within minutes of all the hiking trails that Hocking Hills has to offer. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat while enjoying some outdoor adventures.

Beautiful and relaxing

We had such a lovely time at the Boho BH. The views from upstairs were gorgeous and it was so delightful to be in nature. It was a hot and humid weekend for us and the air conditioning worked overtime to try and keep the upstairs cool. We will definitely come back in the winter to when it’s not so hot and we can better appreciate the upstairs space.

Disappointing to say the least

This was our second stay with Box Hop (at a different house). Our first experience over Thanksgiving week was great, so we came in with high expectations—unfortunately, this stay was a major letdown. Missing items + inaccurate house info: The house manual stated there were gray towels for the hot tub. We couldn’t find them anywhere. We texted the property manager, who told us where they “should” be, but they were still not there. We ended up having to get a code to the cleaner’s closet and retrieve them ourselves. We also asked about using the wood-burning stove/fireplace and were told there would be a white bag of supplies next to the fireplace—there wasn’t. We had to leave and drive to buy what we needed. Neither of these would have been a big deal if this had been the only issue. Roof leak for hours: On Friday, while we were eating lunch and enjoying the house, the roof started leaking. For multiple hours, we had to catch water in pans, move our belongings, and manage the leak ourselves. We notified the property manager and didn’t get a response for hours. The only response we received was that someone would check it on Monday—after we had already checked out—so we were essentially told to deal with it. Laundry ruined: The worst part happened Friday night. We did laundry before checkout, and when we removed our clothes from the dryer, every single item was covered in blue detergent/grease-like stains (clearly coming from the washer). Our clothing is ruined. I emailed the owner/company after checkout to give them the opportunity to address this privately, and did not receive a response (it has now been 4 days). I’m leaving this review so future guests are aware. The house itself is cute, and we wanted to love it, but the missing essentials, the major maintenance issue, the delayed/insufficient response, and especially the ruined clothing made this stay unacceptable.

Cozy but Chilly

We loved our short stay at BoHo Box Hop. It's a sweet atmosphere and great concept. We were a little chilly upstairs and at the kitchen table. We couldn't keep the fire going - a full time job. And the inside temp was 70. Not terrible but at night especially, we just wanted to be warmer.

Perfect one night getaway

The Boho Box Hop was beautiful. I was born and raised in Hocking Hills and decided to treat my boyfriend to a weekend away in Hocking Hills since he is from Cincinnati. We absolutely loved the style of the home, the big open bedroom windows made going to bed looking at the stars and waking up in the morning super peaceful. If you’re staying in the winter time, I recommend knowing how to use the wood burner because it was a little chilly. The hot tub really helped with that though. The hosts are super thoughtful and really think through almost every detail which is much appreciated! Will definitely stay again. We would love to check out the other containers on the property!
