This studio is on the 6th floor of a historical building in the heart of the city. The mountain views are so beautiful from up here. The studio is filled with vintage mid century modern decor, and the stocked kitchen has the original metal cabinets and sink from the 1950's. There's a Cali King bed, just perfect for two people. While the décor is darling, the best thing about this place is the location to everything that is downtown. So many restaurants, pubs, shops and art galleries. There are a few bike rental places open in summer which are perfect for the coastal trail that begins at the park just down by the water.
The building locks at night, but if you arrive before 5:00pm, check in is simple. You won't need me, just the codes.
This historic building has a boiler in the basement, and the plumbing is an "entire building" issue. It's a charming old girl, with a beautiful lobby and elevator, but she requires love and maintenance. Sometimes the water has to be shut down for a few hours, that is just part of being in a historical building. She is beautiful, but she's got some miles and she is not perfect.
While I find furry babies absolutely adorable, I am deathly allergic. This building has a very strict screening process and charges a fine of $100 per day if they are brought into the building, so that made the building appealing to me when I purchased, on a personal safety issue. So, please, don't make it weird by asking, please just move on to a pet friendly listing. I am not trying get sick nor do I want to litigate with my HOA, I just want to have a nice tiny business with no drama. Thanks for being cool about it.
Coin Op Laundry room on site. There is no separate bedroom in this 398 square foot studio condo.
