Beautiful two bedroom cottage within walking distance of beautiful downtown Forest City, NC, the Thermal Belt rail trail and McNair Field (home of the Forest City Owls!)
The place was very comfortable.Plenty of room. Had everything we needed.Could have used a dresser or cabinet for clothing . We stayed a week and would have been nice to keep clothing somewhere.I would rent this place every time I am in the area
Only one suggestion for improvement. The back bedroom faces the rear parking lot, which has a good and strong light for security. However, the windows in that bedroom are not light blocking. Therefore itâs difficult to sleep in the room. Otherwise the property was nice.
Our family has stayed at the cottage several times now and itâs been great every time. The cleanliness and amenities of the house are second to none! Lori is a wonderful host who is responsive and available for anything needed. Forest City is a charming little town and we love to stay at the cottage when we visit our daughter at Gardner-Webb. âSko Dawgs!
Property was excellent on all counts! Clean, comfortable, and convenient. We were in town to deal with family events and it was a perfect spot to end each day in a relaxing manner. The host was so accommodating!! We needed to extend because of unforeseen issues and it couldn't have been easier. Definitely recommend if you're considering a stay in Forest City.
Very clean, well stocked, described exactly in online info. Wold highly recommend and plan to stay again in the future. Contact with host was EXCELLENT
We stayed here while moving our daughter into her college dorm and were very happy with every aspect of the property. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is convenient to everything in the area. Communication with the owner was pleasant. We will definitely stay here again!
The Cottages on Main are so cute and comfortable. Deceptively large and very clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I would add a pair of scissors to the kitchen. :)
Such a clean, cozy place. It was the perfect size for me. I really enjoyed how close it was to a grocery store, and the main downtown area with a cute bakery and a few other local spots. This little place is exactly what I was looking for while visiting Tryon!
