Great little place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage was ready for us. Very clean and well stocked. The owner and neighbors were friendly and helpful. Convenient location. Perfect for one. Trundle bed a bit crowded for two. Limited storage for two. I think a futon or hide-a-bed would work better for two.

Excellent place to stay!

Great place to stay in Sitka! Very comfy and close to everything. Owner lives on site. Highly recommend! Hopefully will stay again next time I visit!

Cottages on Monastery

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We reserved Cottage 3 for one adult, and Cottage 1 for two high school senior boys. Cottage 3 --- Perfect for one person who is used to lodging in a place just big enough for basic lodging and doesn't mind using the kitchen sink to brush teeth, etc. The cottage is very clean and has a comfortable chair and 2 counter stools and enough dishes to cook meals. And it is in a quiet, comfortable neighborhood. Wifi is excellent. Windows on 2 sides allow cool air flow. Cottage 1 has the sane, quality anenities as Cottage 3, but it is not sized for two adult-sized 17-y/o males. It has a trundle bed but there is insufficient space to have the second bed out and do any walking or getting up to use the bathroom, and it would block access to tge entry door. We relocated the males to the Aspen Suites, which is on the same block. Everything worked out and we had a great stay in Sitka. Our goal was to take a metal art class at the Salty Sitkan, which was an excellent experience. Thank you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a good stay.The cottage was in a great location for walking around town and close to most attractions. The cottage was very clean and in good shape. It was just a very tiny space for my husband and I. The twin bed had a trundle so I slept on one and my husband the other. It was like we were doing a sleepover. We loved it but it was a lot smaller room than we thought. The TV had a Amazon Firestick so we could watch somethings but it seemed like the internet only allowed a few hours and it stopped working. Since we just used it for background noise we were fine.The vacation rental management staff was helpful and kind. She greeted us when we arrived and helped us get in the door.

Trip to Sitka

Great communication with the property owner- flexible. Close to many of the attractions. Can easily rent bikes to venture out to the bear fortress.

Cozy, warm, good location

Good proximity to downtown Sitka. Very friendly owner, very clean. A little tight for two people, particularly sleeping accommodations with two single trundle beds, but we were comfortable. Nice and quiet.
