Great family vacation

My wife and I plus our 5 kids ages 9-14 enjoyed our stay here. My wife was concerned about the "walk to the beach," but it was no issue at all. I would not hesitate to rent here again.

Perfect condo steps away from the beach!

Condo was so nice and clean! Had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner daily! We were even able to check in a littler earlier than the actual Check in time! There was 7 of us, 6 adults and 1 child. More than enough space! Just had to cross the street to get to beach, so convenient! There was also beach chairs , boogie boards and a wagon to enjoy and the beach! Definitely recommend! We went for USFA World Series! Condo in close to Both complexes used !

Overall, great experience.

The condo was nice and everything in working order but could have used a deep cleaning. Ceiling fans had a good bit of dust, but so do my fans at home. Lol Kitchen has everything we needed and washer/dryer did a great job. Our condo (D8) had plenty of chairs and toys for the beach. We could have left ours at home! Also had a beach wagon to use! Beach access was easy and convenient! Will stay again!

Overall great stay

Everything was pretty much exactly as described. The process was very easy and loved the added perks from Xplorie. The only few things I could mention is that the WIFI wasn’t working the whole trip, I didn’t contact the company and they were quick to respond, but we couldn’t ever get it to work correctly. The other thing was that the handrail for the stairs was loose and needed to be fixed. Overall our stay was great though, and we will book there again.

Enjoyed Our Stay But Some Things to Consider

Our family enjoyed our stay at Southwind D8. There were 8 individuals in this condo, & 4 of them were young children. The pool was always clean, & the condo was comfortably located nearby. The condo & condominium appear to be several years old, but despite the condominium needing some renovations, the condo itself appears to have been well taken care of & updated. There are some potential issues with this condo that you should be aware of though, especially if you plan to bring children. First is that if you have small children & plan for them to sleep upstairs, be mindful that the beds upstairs are near a railing that overlooks the living room area about 10ft+ high. A small child could potentially climb on an upstairs bed & fall over the railing. Similarly, there is a wooden banister upstairs that prevents anyone from falling over into the stairway, but the banister is very unstable. The ventilation upstairs could be an issue as it was sometimes hotter than we preferred there, but honestly this may be no fault of the owner because we went during record a record breaking heatwave. Next & while the listing says there are grills at this location, there are indeed no community grills (confirmed by two separate owners within the condominium). Lastly, while the confirmation email may appear to give all the details, be mindful that you must check into the property management office to receive parking passes. Everything else about the condo, location, & amenities were great.
