Magical property

This property is a secluded 2-story residence on the most glorious private cove. Every day we loved waking up to the amazing view. With the change of the tide, there was constantly something new to see and explore, by hiking, snorkeling, stand up paddle-boarding and kayaking. The setting was breathtakingly beautiful. The house is funky and eclectic. If you like unusual/original places to stay, you will like it. It is basically 2 independent studio apartments on top of each other with no inside staircase connecting them. The top level has a big, well stocked kitchen, large den and dining area for 4-6 people. The “bedroom” with a comfortable queen bed is separated by a room divider. The bathroom has louvered doors, so not much privacy. The lower level is more of a traditional studio with a small kitchen. There are large wonderful decks off both floors. It’s conveniently located to Marsh Harbour, which has a plenty of restaurants, a supermarket and smaller markets. You will need a rental car to get around as nothing is within walking distance and taxis were not affordable/readily available. We had a great experience with SG Car Rentals. I don’t recommend flying Silver Airlines. They delayed our flight at least 12 times (no joke). Don’t miss Green Turtle Cay and Gillam Bay on GTC. Also the Long Dock at Cherokee Sound on the main island is well worth the drive. There are so many things to see and do on the main island as well as the cays surrounding it. Highly recommend!

Totally in Love

Absolutely thrilled with our stay – it was pure joy from start to finish! Victoria's warm welcome in Marsh Harbor set the tone for eight magical days at George's house in Abaco. Victoria, a true gem, became a forever friend instantly, showering us with helpful advice and an abundance of positive energy. The house, with its tall ceilings, massive windows, and open concept, felt like a dreamy retreat. We cooked up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, and dining on the top veranda with the soothing sound of waves was simply heavenly. The outdoor living spaces were a paradise, offering kayaking, paddleboarding, and encounters with marine wonders like turtles and stingrays. Victoria's suggestions, from exploring with her to trying local delights at Long Dock and Pete's Pub, were spot-on. Her hospitality was beyond compare, making us feel like cherished guests. A couple of tips for fellow travelers: Trust Victoria's recommendations, grab some local Neem for bug protection, explore Long Dock and Pete's Pub, savor lobster at Nancy's Seaside Inn, and stock up on fresh seafood at AA Seafood Depot. Let Victoria assist with car rental – she's a lifesaver! Abaco, with its incredible people, stunning beaches, and this unforgettable home, etched memories that will last a lifetime. A massive thank you to Victoria for being a beacon of positivity and making our vacation an absolute delight! Wow, wow, wow – counting the days until our return! Victoria, you truly are a beautiful Soul! ❤️

Must keep this place a secret.

I am afraid that this amazing location will be "discovered" and in a few years it will be simply overrun and overpriced. In summary: there is simply no better location on Mainland Abaco. If you love fancy resorts, this place might not be your thing. But if you want a quiet escape, no neighbors, ideal private beach right outside your bedroom - this secluded spot is a hidden treasure. Our recent stay here spoils all other beaches and beach-adjacent properties for me. With plenty of sun you can chill by the water or explore nearby nature. Included were mint condition kayaks, SUP, snorkel gear, and fishing stuff, which is awesome. Wifi & Fire Pit for quiet late nights outdoors. The house is unique and cozy, with cool decorations and a descent kitchen. You'll need a rental car because nothin will be walkind sitance. But 15 minutes from "downtown" Marsh Harbor. Road is gravel for the last few hundred feet, so you know you are in the jungle! But it's worth it for the peace and beauty at the end. Our local host, was super helpful and friendly. In short, if you want a simple family getaway with peace, quiet, sun, and water fun, this place is great. It's not super fancy, but it's a unique spot to connect with nature and family. If you have spent any time camping or RV-ing this place will seem like a luxury accomodations. We loved it and want to come back soon, hopefully it will be left just the same for us for next time.

Texans in the Bahamas

We stayed for the week and weekend of the 4th of July and we can’t speak more highly of the house and especially it’s care takers. We arrived on 32 foot boat after traveling through the Bahamas for a month, we anchored it in front of the property for the stay and had no problems with strong anchors. The house on the other end was absolutely great, besides the private beach, where you can sit in the sun, or snorkel out on a kayak adventure and sea tons of reef fish and lobster. The interior of the house was perfect for 4-6 people with a great fully stocked kitchen, spacious living room and absolutely great balcony too watch the sunset, and fireworks (if you stay on the 4th). Down stairs is a great spot for kids or young adults as they have their own space. However how great the interior is the exterior is what makes it worth it’s money in gold. Throughout our stay my family and friends continue too not comprehend how I found such a “private piece of paradise” for such a great price. While it may be somewhat of trip from downtown marsh harbor it’s well worth the trip, as any taxi or rental car can make it there no problem. This house is A class from the location too the views as it serves as almost its own private resort, but what makes the stay so worthwhile is the people who y’all meet along the way especially the caretakers. Victoria and her husband were awesome as they asked more like your friends than the properties proprietors.
