The BOATHOUSE cabin is a relaxing two-bedroom vacation rental located on Bumps Creek in Sneads Ferry. Enjoy your visit to this awesome beach town and all Sneads Ferry, Topsail Beach and Surf City has to offer. You will be amazed how quickly you can slip into the relaxed vibe and easy going pace of life here.

- access to boat docks - so bring your boat and tie it to one of our docks during your stay (only 5 minutes to a sandbar or the ICW and 10 minutes to the north end or ocean by boat)

This two bedroom, one bath cottage has everything you need to have the time of your life! Both bedrooms have queen size beds and the sunroom has a sleeper sofa which pulls out to a queen size bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, cups, wine glasses, coffee cups, Keurig coffee maker, microwave and toaster. The living area has a table that seats 4 and the sunroom has a bar table that seats 3. The sunroom also has a large full capacity washer and dryer. All towels and linens provided (except beach towels). WiFi and two 50” Fire Stick Smart TVs located in the living area and the sunroom are also included. We will provide a “starter pack” of supplies for you (enough laundry detergent, paper towels, k-cups, and toilet paper for your first day with us).

To maintain the home and assure that it is clean and comfortable for all to enjoy NO PETS ARE ALLOWED and there is NO SMOKING permitted inside.

Comfy little cabin for a peaceful getaway. Close enough to shopping and tourist areas for comfort but quiet and serene to escape to. Beautiful setting for relaxing. The closed in porch was heaven.

Beautiful, waterfront setting with gorgeous sunsets from deck and sunroom. Sunroom very nice to enjoy view when inclement weather. Comfortable beds and cozy indoor spaces for relaxing. Definitely will stay here again!

Time to chill and fish a bit

The cabin was very clean and convenient. It was a pretty spot on the water and great sunsets. The owner was immediately responsive to any questions we had. Check in process was simple and seamless. Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect!!

Everything about staying here was perfect! We were visiting our Marine! Close enough to base that he could stay with us and go to work in the morning. Dock to fish off of and feed the little fishies. Beautiful view! Friendly neighbors! Would definitely recommend!!

Comfortable and relaxing cottage

My husband and I were coming to Topsail to fish for a few days and celebrating his 72nd birthday!! Off the beaten path, this cottage is a very comfortable, very clean, relaxing place to stay. Check in process was easy. Property manager was responsive. Furniture is very comfortable. We slept in the room with the poster bed. Mattress was comfortable for us. Good support but not hard. Couches in den and sunroom were also comfortable. Bathroom is small; has a nice size shower. Plenty of clean towels and wash cloths. Kitchen was perfect for us. Stocked with very nice Keurig, pots with lids, garbage disposal, etc. Loved the sunroom and porch on the back. Porch has covered sitting area with nice furniture. Perfect. Washer and dryer very nice. One suggestion- maybe a floor lamp by the couch in the sunroom for reading. Will keep this property as a favorite on my VRBO app. Thank you for sharing your property with us!!

Waterfront Boathouse

Stan's place was perfect, it was just what i was looking for while in the area to visit my son, who is a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune. It was clean, quiet, on the water, stocked with every thing you might need, comfortable, what more can ask for!! You cant go wrong booking your stay here.

A great place to stay

Stan was excellent to reply to my questions or even call me if I asked him to. Stan's house on the water was perfect in every way. The place was spotless. All the appliances worked great with no problems. It was so nice to have the ability to do laundry whenever you need to. He even supplied laundry and dish soap. The beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable. The location was perfect. If I listened closely at the right time, I could hear the soothing sound of machine gun fire from Camp Lejeune, but it wasn't so loud that my wife heard it. The dock is within 30 yards of the front door where you can fish, sit in the sun , bbq or dock a boat. The location was perfect. Tons of good places to eat at or have food delivered. You're near Topsail Beach for fishing, jet skis and lots of other stuff. Jacksonville and Camp Lejeune are both a short drive away. I wish I'd have done this years ago. I'll never stay in a hotel again. Thank you Stan!

Cozy and Simple

Little boathouse cottage was plenty for my family and I. Beautiful back porch overlooking dock and inlet was perfect for morning coffee and breakfast. Short ride to the beach and shops and yet far enough away from main drag. Stay here for quiet and relaxing week.

Great getaway at this house!

The house was very clean and super spacious. Perfect for two but more than that could stay. Love the porches and being right there on the water. It is a little tight as far as the houses go around it. Not a ton of space between neighbors. Besides that, a great stay.

♥️⭐Exceeded all Expectations⭐♥️

Highly recommend! Better than home away from home, and a million times nicer than any hotel! My daughter and I stayed from June 11th to 15th, and almost instantly felt like we had lived there for years! I could tell there were many upgrades recently made (brand new mattresses, new blinds, new ceiling fans, new washer machine, and new walk-in shower) all of which added to the amazing comfort of the home. Everything was pristine clean and well stocked. After the 10 hour drive from Pennsylvania, we arrived after dark, allowing us no time to familiarize ourselves to the Southern surroundings... which made for an uneasy first night (completely our own fault, as everything is much scarier when it's dark!) There are "palmetto" bugs, that are huge but completely harmless. The water is brackish (mix of salt and fresh water) and creates a very ripe smell similar to rotten eggs, but only during high tide and IF the conditions are just right against the marsh. And there are adorable little bright green lizards... I was contemplating bringing one back up north with us, but I didn't! These were the only cons with the rental... None of which can be controlled by the owners, who are extremely welcoming and responsive ("thank-you Stan"!!). There's so many great and unique things about the rental, that the best way for me to sum it up, is by saying that you must experience it for yourself!! I'm already planning our next stay, and definitely for longer than 4 nights! This was the best vacation we've ever had, and I personally guarantee that you will think so as well! Don't forget to bring your fishing gear, bicycles, or favorite relaxing, quiet-time activity (painting, drawing, reading, knitting, photography, board games, yoga mat, etc.) for an excellent opportunity to completely unplug and enjoy the ultimate serenity of the natural surroundings.
