We invite you to enjoy our charming Brown County lodge sprinkled with a bit of midcentury modern vibes! Perfect for a small family vacation or weekend getaway with friends, this comfortable lodge provides the perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate.

Located right off State Road 46, between Columbus and Bloomington, you'll be just a short drive from all the attractions Brown County has to offer. The ideal amount of guests would be 6 people but I can certainly fit 8 if two are willing to sleep on couches. Don't worry about parking either - ample free parking spaces are available in front of the lodge - perfect for larger groups.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT:
The lodge features 3 bedrooms - all with log style frames and the most comfortable mattresses.
-Bedroom 1 (ensuite bathroom): Queen size bed
-Bedroom 2: Full size bed
-Bedroom 3: Queen size bed
-Couch Sleepers: Two “Article” leather couches each measures 83.5” L x 35” W. All bedding and pillows are provided. These are not pull out sofa beds.

COMMON AREA:
The open floor plan of my lodge is ideal for entertainment or cozying up for family time. The barstools are perfect for a morning cup of coffee, giving you the chance to start your day with a gorgeous view out of the french doors onto the backyard and beyond. On cooler evenings, relax in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy being surrounded by warmth and comfort. I also offer a dedicated work space in this area so that you can do all your remote work with ease thanks to having an ample number of convenient sources for power, USB ports and high speed WiFi. After working, take some time to explore the selection of books scattered throughout the lodge.

BATHROOM:
The lodge has two full bathrooms. One in the master bedroom and another in the living room. A baby bather is available for infants.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one needs to prepare meals, You will have a coffee maker for that needed afternoon cup of joe, and a blender for those morning breakfast smoothies. The kitchen also supplies children's utensils and booster seat.

LAUNDRY ROOM:
After a long day of hitting the trails at Brown County State Park, use the dryer & washer should you need to wash your clothes before packing up. Basic laundry essentials are provided.

PETS:
We are dog friendly. Please make sure to add your pet to your reservation prior to booking. Only ONE dog per stay is permitted, however exceptions can be made. Please message me prior to booking. Mandatory pet fee of $185 per stay is non refundable. The fee goes towards a deep clean after your stay.

-No pets on furniture please
-Dispose of waste appropriately and clean up outdoors.
-If the dog is left alone in the lodge, the dog should be kept in a kennel. Please note that the kennel is NOT provided by the lodge.
-Keep an eye on your pet to prevent accidents or damage to property. Any damage to property may result in additional fees

NEIGHBORS:
The property neighbors businesses that may occasionally have utility trucks/equipment running back and forth. The property is not tucked in the woods.

Please note that the photos displayed are taken by professional photographers, and while we strive to maintain consistency, some furniture, appliances, or décor may differ at the time of your booking due to updates, repairs, or changes. These adjustments are made to enhance the guest experience, and no refunds will be provided for such differences.

CELLULAR SIGNAL:
Cellular signal may not always be reliable around Brown County. Verizon will provide the best signal. I highly recommend downloading offline maps on your phone as you explore places including Brown County State Park.

WINTER DRIVING:
Snow tire chains and/or 4-wheel drive vehicles are highly encouraged during winter months in the event of inclement weather.
I recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance for all planned vacations. Travel Insurance will protect your Investment in the event of a weather event that would make roads impassable to vehicles with 4WD and/or chains.
