More than half an acre with fire pit and a large porch to watch the sunrise. A homemade breakfast is included. with your stay. I custom make foods for those with special diets and/or diet restrictions. 45 minutes from Cleveland, 20 minutes from Akron, 15 minutes from Hall of Fame, 7 minutes to Walsh University, 5 miles to Akron-Canton Airport (CAK).

Very pleasant stay

Stayed only one night. Bedrooms were comfortable and breakfast made by Valerie was a nice touch. She was very responsive to questions and the check in and check out process were both easy.

AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED!

This VRBO was just a delightful place to stay with Valerie as the hostess/owner. She is a very warm welcoming person who prepared one of the best breakfasts ever for us the next morning. The bed is so comfortable, and the home was so well decorated it made me want to stay longer or return soon for another visit.

This is a true Bed and Breakfast; Valerie creates wonderful breakfasts "to order" using wholesome and tasty ingredients! I hope you get to eat her fluffy waffles and homemade bagels. It felt like we were staying over at a friend's house. There are two lovely, sociable cats (who are not allowed in the bedrooms). We stayed for an extended weekend while visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame (Canton) and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Cleveland). We were so lucky to be able to drive to a perfect location to watch the total eclipse!

Pleasantly Surprised

When I booked this I didn’t read the part that said this was a Bed & Breakfast and didn’t realize we would be sharing the living area, aside from our room with other guests and the owner. We decided to stick it out, and I’m glad we did. Valerie was very friendly and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. She has great communication. We loved the breakfast and her large yard and fire pit.

Amazing Hostess

Per other reviews, Valerie is an amazing hostess. Communications prior to our arrival were among the best we've ever had. The place was spotless. She coordinated each evening to ensure she would prepare a breakfast of our liking. The food was wholesome and nutritious.Please read the other reviews. There are two cats, but they are not allowed in the kitchen or bedrooms. As others note, this is a Bed and Breakfast - you will be staying in Valerie's 3 BR home with Valerie and any other guests (there was another couple while we were there, but we were never in each other's way). The listing could be improved. I thought we would have the whole "cottage" or a "suite" to ourselves, but the listed"King Suite" is just a bedroom and does not include the listed "in room" kitchen, dining area, refrigerator microwave. The listing does not include the separate guest bedroom that was occupied.Valerie let us keep our ice packs in her freezer and our restaurant leftovers in her refrigerator.Our bedroom was next to the eat-in kitchen, across from the half bath. The bathroom with the shower was upstairs across from Valerie's bedroom and next to the other guest room.A short drive to everything we wanted to do! Very convenient and a great value for Canton.We have stayed in this type of B&B before throughout Europe and in the US, and this experience was on par with the others.Everything worked out fine for us and we had a relaxing and enjoyable visit.

Unexpected surprise

Valerie was lovely, very sweet and breakfast was AMAZING. What we did not know is that she has 2 cats. This was a huge turn off and even more so when we realized that our room had an odor from said cats. Other than the smell in our room, the house was very clean. Had the cats been in the description we certainty would not have stayed here. Being that it was only 1 night and not having a backup plan, we just decided to bear through it. The other surprise to us was that Valerie would be there in the house with us full time and be joining us for breakfast. While she was quite friendly and nice to talk with, we would have just preferred our own company. This may very well be my own misunderstanding of what a "bed and breakfast" is and so she doesn't lose stars for this. It was just a surprise to us. If you like cats and the company of a lovely woman, you may very well love this place. Its just not for us and felt the description was misleading.

You will LOVE your stay here!!!

My husband and I were welcomed warmly, the host showed us around and made us feel right at home. The spacious bedroom included a DREAMY king-size bed that, honestly, we had a hard time leaving!! Also in the room is a sleeper sofa and a large coffee table, clothes closet with hangers, 2 nice nightstands with good reading lamps, even a gorgeous dresser with many drawers. Our large smart-TV hung on the wall directly at the foot of the bed, so we were able to watch shows, laugh and have a great time. This is a 1st-floor bedroom, with access to a nice half-bathroom just outside the bedroom door about 12 ft across a small den. So awesome. And you'll fall in love with the 2 resident cats; we sure did. The shower was upstairs, which we didn't use. Oh my gosh, breakfast was amazing!!!!!! We can't wait to visit Ohio family again, and we will be returning. (Thanks for recommending Bam! Healthy Cuisine for our dinner locale Fri night!) The parking was great, the place was gorgeous, comfortable, the yard gorgeous!!!
