Lots of amenities! No need to pay more to get the best! Be sure to check out all the photos. My guests are amazed at all the Farmhouse has to offer. The home is on a 3rd generation family farm & has 4 huge bedrooms for your upmost privacy. It is definitely in the country yet only minutes from town. Surrounded by pastures, your only neighbors are the grazing cows. It has 2 wonderful porches, fire pit area, renovated garage to hang out in, 320 acres to roam on & 2 fishing ponds. All for your enjoyment. Smoking is allowed outside/2 pet max
The space
I am an impeccable housekeeper so you can feel confident you will be staying in a very clean space! I provide everything you need for your coffee. There is a shower & toilet that is handicap accessible.
Guest access
You get the entire house!!! There is ample parking for 4 cars or more.
Other things to note
I think I have provided everything you need to enjoy your stay. Gas grill, fire pit ( all you need for a campfire,) corn hole boards, croquet, board games & more. I also keep the frig stocked with condiments & a cabinet of spices. In the kitchen you will find a blender, toaster, crock pots, mixing bowls, full set of cookware, everything you need. If you want to fish just let me know. 5 lb. plus bass have been caught! (You will need to bring your own fishing gear.)

What a beautiful farm! The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Their 100 year old farm house is lovingly cared for and the property immaculate. This is the perfect place to stay to enjoy some southern hospitality and experience all of the sites Kentucky has to offer.

Great location and farmhouse feel!

Had a great time staying here! House is beautiful, decorated like a true farm house. Great to see the farm history on the walls as well. My kids loved waking up to the cows and horses. Highlight was definitely feeding the horses treats! Great loaction if you are going bourbon tasting. Highly recommend.

Peaceful retreat

So nice to get away from the hustle and bustle to stay at this lovely farm. It had everything we needed and only a short drive to nearby horse farms and sites. We hope to return!!

Wonderful farm house

This was our second time staying here. It’s the perfect farmhouse getaway. Centrally located to everywhere you want to go. Lots of space and room inside. Well stocked with everything you could imagine. The kids had a blast playing in the fields and of course with the kittens. Look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful Experience

The farmhouse and surrounding property was beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed our sightseeing and tours in the area but looked forward to our evenings at the farm. Therese and Terry were wonderful hosts. Quick to answer any questions and provided all we needed to make our stay so enjoyable. If we make it back to Kentucky we definitely stay here again!

Create Memories at this Charming Farmhouse

What a wonderful experience! We were travelling for a sad occasion and this was the bright spot we needed. This beautifully decorated farmhouse took us back to childhood growing up in the area and made new memories for our children that didn't have that same experience. The Christmas decorations were the icing on the cake. Our sincerest Thank You to our hosts!

Amazing Farmhouse

The farmhouse was amazing! The garden area was absolutely beautiful. The place had literally everything you need, making it feel you are right at home. The bedrooms are huge to match the property. The evenings were very pleasant so everyone played outside. My kids enjoyed the horses and cows, while falling in love with the kittens. The farmhouse is nicely situated between all the bourbon distilleries. Definitely a place I would highly recommend. Therese was great! Looking forward to coming back.

A Little Slice of Country Heaven

This is our second time staying at this property and we will never stay anywhere else. The house is clean and full of so many unique details and thoughtful touches. The owner Theresa is quick to respond and make sure you have the best stay possible. The last night we made sure we got back to the property early enough to enjoy the fire pit and play some cornhole in the garage. Please note that to enjoy the real country charm you will need to be in the country (farther away from town and there are animals there) however the peace and comfort that comes with this place is so worth any minor inconveniences you may encounter. I cannot wait to book for next year!!

Excellent stay!

Our Farmhouse stay couldn’t be any better. The communication with Therese and Terry was always immediate and any questions we had were clearly answered. The home was impeccably clean and was exactly as stated in the description. If you stay here you will have everything you need except your own wardrobe. There is shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathrooms and staples in the refrigerator and kitchen. You can sit on the porch to enjoy the scenery and quietness of the farm or Therese’s beautiful flowers. The kittens are cute too. One of the best VRBO’s we’ve been in. We would definitely stay here again if ever in bourbon country.

A True Home Away from Home

We came from Virginia to meet up with family from Oklahoma to do the Bourbon Trail thought this house would be perfect, it did not disappoint. The house is the full of historic charm and the owners have lovingly thought of every detail from leaving batteries and reading glasses to extra toiletries in the bathrooms. There were 5 of us total and we all slept like babies. The beds were comfortable and the property was so quiet except for the crickets and tree frogs that sang you us to sleep every night. We had so much fun at the property we cut our bourbon tour short on the last night so we could come back and have enough time to enjoy the fire pit and the kittens (soo cute). I could write a book on all the things we loved about this property we are already planning our next trip and we now will never stay anywhere else!

Perfect farmhouse getaway

The farmhouse was perfect place to relax. The house is so full of history and character. We enjoyed looking at the old photos, and the family artifacts. It is a very comfortable and spacious house, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Well stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds. There are several outdoor seating areas, all with beautiful views! Therese has done an amazing job with the landscaping and flower beds! She even took time out of her busy days to show me her award winning landscaping in her own back yard! Truly beautiful! The hosts, Terry and Therese, were very friendly and took time to show us around and answered many of our questions. We were able to walk around their acreage, and really enjoyed watching the cows and their two horses in the pastures. We definitely recommend staying here. It is country living but only minutes from shopping, and close to Bardstown and several distilleries. We look forward to our next stay at the Farmhouse!

Such a fun place to stay!

This was our second trip to the farmhouse and, as expected, it was once again a spectacular place to stay. There are lots of extras at this rental, such as the cozy throws in the living room, lots of spices and condiments in the pantry and fridge, a large selection of bath products, a blow dryer, an outside fire pit, cornhole boards, a grill, treats for feeding the horses, and more! The big kitchen table allowed us to work on a puzzle while watching TV. The internet is actually usable, the TV is large, and the bedrooms are amazing. Therese is a wonderful gardener, the flowers and other plantings are truly beautiful. We really enjoyed sitting on the rockers on the front porch. The view is so pretty you feel like you are in a postcard. The back porch is equally pretty, with more beautiful plantings. This time we got to have conversations with the owners. It was so interesting to hear all about the farm. They have some fun stories to share. We like this place so much we have already booked it for our Thanksgiving trip!

The Farmhouse is Idyllic

We planned a trip to central KY with friends and had a number of great destinations to go and visit. Little did we know that our home base at The Farmhouse turned out to be one of the best destinations of them all. It was simply perfect. Beautiful, relaxing, and charming surroundings on a beautiful working farm with horses, cattle, and some of the bustle on the farm with the hard working Tatum family. Theresa and Terry were great hosts both very hospitable and friendly. The house was perfect for the 4 of us and had all the amenities that we needed. Porch and deck time reading, reflecting, and gazing over the beautiful landscape of the farm just added to our rest and relaxation. It was an excellent retreat. Much thanks to Theresa and Terry for sharing their beautiful family Farmhouse with us!

Beautiful farmhouse in a beautiful setting

This house and property are a perfect place to relax and to get away for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the porch, visiting the outdoor cats, feeding the horses and just hanging out with nature. Inside the house was furnished with everything we needed, and the decor was perfect for this farmhouse. I wish I had more time here.

Beautiful and nostalgic- like being back at grandmas

We loved our stay at this beautifully designed farmhouse. It had that timeless charm—like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Every detail invited connection, comfort, and slowing down together as a family. It was the perfect setting for making memories and soaking in a little slice of Americana.
