Moose Times Lodge proudly offers the spacious Moose Pad, our 3-4 Bedroom Alaska themed apartment in our spacious Lodge, nestled in the forest below the mountains of peaceful South Anchorage. Great for families and large family gatherings! Amazing upper private deck with Hot tub and fire table for enjoyment! We have a heated walkway to the hot tub for keeping your feet warm for winter entertaining. 3 bedrooms plus 4th bonus room, sleeps 12! Full kitchen w/ oversized oven, dining, 2 Showers, 2 relaxing Jacuzzi tubs, Washer/Dryer. Bonus Sunroom can be 4th bed/office/pure joy! Free Parking. We were there for a wedding. The house was amazing and well stocked! It comfortably fit our 9 guests and the hot tub was an awesome addition! Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Better than we hoped!

We were in Alaska for 2 1/2 weeks. The last 3 nights were in this beautiful VRBO and it was exquisite. We were so thrilled to find stocked cupboards and everything we needed to grill out some yummy steaks. It was so nice to not have to buy all of the little things, extra towels for the hot tub, snacks, books, fire wood.... These wonderful hosts thought of everything. We loved the super comfy beds after a dip in the perfect hot tub. This place exceeds all expectations! Thank you for everything!

We enjoyed our stay! We were a family group ranging kids to grandparents and this place had enough space for our group and all the amenities needed! Easy check in. We hope to be back!

Perfect vacation home

Perfect vacation home with many amenities and well stocked. Deck area was fabulous and used frequently during stay. Location just off main roads was good for our frequent excursions to Anchorage, Girdwood and Prince William Sound. We had fun!

Overnight Stay

This was just an overnight stay but was clean and the house was set out per the advertisement. 6 adults stayed ( 2x couples and 2x singles) so we did use the fold out. If we stayed any longer we would have wanted the lounge area to be set out to make it darker. But the private rooms were nice and dark. As far as facilities, bins were over full outside so hard to dispose of items but inside was good and had tea, coffee and baisc nacessaties. The spa and outdoor area was quite private dispite being above another lodgeing. ( the host did message day of check in to advise there was rennovations and they were loud for the time but we just left and came back later. It didnt distrupt our sleep or anything). As a side note, the fold out lounges were intesting to use but we are from Australia and maybe they are just different to ours and its common in America to push out from the bittom and then lift up. But the host did not reply to my question but we did figure it out. All in all good overnight experience.

Nice place

It was a lovely home. We only had booked for the one night only because our flight came to Anchorage at 11pm. It only made sense to stay in Anchorage for the night and continue our travel the next day for our destination. We as a group loved staying in the home and wouldn't have minded staying longer. The Host was very quick to respond to any questions I had before the stay The only thing I considered a problem was that I thought that the home could accommodate at least 12. We only had 8 in our group and it seemed that that was total that could fit without putting someone on the floor. Otherwise was a great place and I would say a very nice place to stay.

Beautiful location and great outdoor space. Our families loved our stay and the host was great! He helped us put our halibut in the freezer. Would highly recommended.

The Moose Pad

Great spot in Anchorage to launch our Alaska trip. Tony was great to work with and the home was as advertised in the listing and fully stocked with the all the amenities needed. The hot tub and outside entertainment area on the back deck were great. We traveled with two other families with younger kids and the space fit us great with the roll out couches. Super close to the Alaska Zoo and not far from from the downtown area with restaurants and things to do and see. We come to Alaska often to visit family and to explore and we will definitely come back to the Moose Pad!

Very Difficult Stay

My friends and I came to Anchorage to celebrate my birthday in the beautiful Alaskan outdoors! The check-in process was not set up when we arrived even an hour and a half hour(5:30pm) the checkin time(4pm). The property manager had to come upstairs to let us in. When inside we realized the “2 full beds” in bedroom 5 were not both truly bed size. One folded out into a full bed, but had a broken strap so you had to force it into position, while the other folded out easily it was only the size of a small child’s bed. We were told to add a bench to the fold out to make it a full bed, and we were told “if we were brave” we could sleep in the swinging bed in the sunroom. We then had multiple troubles with the electric lock on the front door including in the middle of the night coming home from that days adventure. I had no luck reaching the host after calling many times, and finally had to resort to knocking on the downstairs neighbors(property manager) door. After about 15 minutes in 6° weather we were let in remotely and the property manager came and changed the batteries. The host compared this to having to go the lobby of a hotel to get another room key….Even with new batteries, in the morning we were still unable to lock the door from the outside using the electric lock. The stay was fine, but not as expected.

Outstanding place!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time! This was a Christmas present to our family to stay here and go downhill skiing. We had a blast, played games, used the hot tub, and watched movies. It was perfect for our family!

Christmas Family Retreat

This property is AMAZING!!! We stayed here for the Christmas weekend with our family. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw a beautifully decorated tree and stockings on the wall. The Moose Pad is clean, decorated with cute moose/bear items, has spacious bed rooms, comfortable beds, and LOTS of towels for the bathrooms and hot tub. The jetted tubs in each bathroom is a nice plus as well. The kitchen is AMAZING with lots of extras left by previous guests as well as PLENTY of Keurig pods and other essential items left by the owner to make our stay comfortable. The dining room table is very large which was perfect not only for our family to eat, but was also enough room for puzzles and games at the other end. The deck outside has strings of lights that are festive at night as you sit in the hot tub surrounded by a forest of trees covered in snow. It feels like a magical wonderland! Tony and John, the owner and maintenance man, were very communicative and helpful with any issue that arose, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this vrbo!!!!
