Moose Times Lodge proudly offers the spacious Moose Pad, our 4 Bedroom Alaska themed apartment in our spacious Lodge, nestled in the forest below the mountains of peaceful South Anchorage. Great for families, organizations, and large family gatherings! Amazing upper private deck with outdoor dining, lounge, and covered fire table for enjoyment (Seasonal use). 4 bedrooms all King & Queen beds. With pull out sofas, we can host 12+ guests! Full kitchen w/ oversized oven, dining room, 2 Showers, 2 relaxing Jacuzzi tubs, Washer/Dryer. Shared Hot tub on lower level available for reservation May through October. Free Parking. Highspeed WiFi. Large smart TVs now in each bedroom. Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney, HBO, AppleTV included free of charge.

This is the perfect mix of homey and luxury modern. Highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group traveling in Anchorage. Easy to find and quiet neighborhood. Loved it!

Fabulous, well equipped house but very uncomfortable mattresses.

Loved the deck & firepit. Nobody slept well because the mattresses were extremely soft - impossible for 2 people in one bed.

Graduation Gift

Great location as a homebase for visiting. Spent time in Whitter, Seward, Anchorage, Willow. Was able to return most nights and cook dinner in the well stocked kitchen. Home has 3 bedroom (1K, 2Q), 4th room with Futon. Sleeps 6 adults comfortably, 8 with small futon. More people youll be in common areas. Kitchen was very well stocked, nice living space, beautiful upper deck and cover front porch. Easy parking, quiet street, wild birds heard every morning and night.

Alaskan vacation

The pictures and description in the ad were spot on. The house accommodated our family for the month of September. We had different family members come stay with us a week at a time. The beds were very comfortable and bedrooms were perfect sizes. The teenagers loved sleeping in the sun room. Excellent accommodations for the kitchen. Hot tub was perfect. The fire pit was also perfect. Well stocked bathrooms. John the caretaker was excellent to work with and very helpful in finding things to do in the area. Tony the owner was easy to get a hold of for any questions we might have had. He also rented us vehicles for the month and worked with us on check out date as far as letting us use one of the vehicles. We were on the edge of Anchorage and even saw the northern lights from the deck one morning.The property is in a great locations for access to amenities. We would highly recommend to anyone to rent this property.

Overnight Stay

This was just an overnight stay but was clean and the house was set out per the advertisement. 6 adults stayed ( 2x couples and 2x singles) so we did use the fold out. If we stayed any longer we would have wanted the lounge area to be set out to make it darker. But the private rooms were nice and dark. As far as facilities, bins were over full outside so hard to dispose of items but inside was good and had tea, coffee and baisc nacessaties. The spa and outdoor area was quite private dispite being above another lodgeing. ( the host did message day of check in to advise there was rennovations and they were loud for the time but we just left and came back later. It didnt distrupt our sleep or anything). As a side note, the fold out lounges were intesting to use but we are from Australia and maybe they are just different to ours and its common in America to push out from the bittom and then lift up. But the host did not reply to my question but we did figure it out. All in all good overnight experience.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at the Moose Lodge. It was our last night before flying out and we had less than 24 hours. That said, the hosts were very accommodating, and the place was great! It was spacious and tastefully decorated. It was well appointed, and the outdoor space was unique and super cool (hot tub, propane fire pit). We appreciated all of the extras. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if in the area.

What a great place! The house was fantastic with so much outdoor hangout space, the kitchen was stocked, and the beds were comfy. The check-in was easy and the owner was super responsive. I’d definitely stay here again!

Living Large at The Moose Pad!

Even better than advertised! The property is very well-appointed and was a great location for a 6 person college reunion! Terrific outdoor spaces with a huge 2nd story patio (great sunset views), hot tub, grille, and fire circle down below. Close to town & ANC ( 20 min) but out far enough to see some wildlife. Plenty of creature comforts and great communication with hosts Tony and Desirae.

Home away from home!

We stayed for 3 nights after getting off a cruise. This home was the perfect way to move into the next part of our Alaska vacation! This home is beautiful and has absolutely everything you will need for your stay. Beds are so comfortable, kitchen was very well equipped and the teenagers loved the hot tub! Thanks for sharing your place with us- wish we could have stayed longer!

Great place!

The Moose Pad was perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 young children! The house had everything we needed to accommodate our group. From tons of towels, condiments, and air mattresses to anything needed for kids — pack n plays, high chair, toys
it was perfect! We loved our stay here! While we only had a short stay, the house provided easy access to local hiking and a walkable playground. We enjoyed ending the day with the large hot tub and beautiful outdoor patio. Highly recommend!!
