Perfect location for visiting WVU, and walking distance to Ruby Memorial and Mon General Hospitals. Walking distance for WVU football games, just over 1/2 mile to the Blue Lot and Mylan Pushkar Stadium/Mountaineer Field. This house is the perfect spot for gathering while you enjoy all WVU sporting and educational events. Less than 1 mile to Creative Arts Center and Alumni Center, 2 miles to Coliseum and WVU baseball and soccer fields. Walking distance to Evansdale campus. The house has 3 large bedrooms and 2 full baths. It sleeps 8 people in bedrooms, plus there are 2 ottomans in the family room that fold out to twin beds - they can be used separately or joined together to make a king bed.
The house has just undergone a complete renovation and remodel, with all new flooring, cabinets, counters, and appliances! The first-floor great room includes kitchen, dining area and family room. It combines a large and airy kitchen, a family room with a 65 inch TV and plenty of seating (8+ people), and a dining area that seats 6. The kitchen includes granite countertops and all new stainless appliances. It includes a large island with additional seating for 4 people and even a drink fridge!

A large deck off of the great room offers a gas fire pit, heater, cooler, and plenty of seating with both a sitting area and a dining area. The deck also has a gas grill for cookouts. Driveway parking for 2-3 cars, depending on size of vehicle. 1/4 mile to Mon General Hospital and 1/2 mile to Ruby Memorial so also perfect for visiting medical professionals. It is walking distance to the PRT (WVU's rapid transit system), and is also directly on the local public transportation/bus line with pick-up available right out the front door. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Morgantown also offers so much more than WVU-related activities. Enjoy hiking and sightseeing at Coopers Rock State Forest and fishing and swimming in Cheat Lake, less than 20 minutes from the house. Pittsburgh is an easy day trip.

Note: Garage, laundry and the apartment in basement are not included in the rental. With prior arrangement with owner, shared use of the laundry with washer and dryer is available. The apartment is not rented out, but the owners may stay there from time to time and may be there during a rental.

We had a great time in Morgantown visiting my son. Great location to walk to the stadium. The house is well decorated and the furniture is comfortable. We enjoyed some time on the deck with the fire table.

The house has 3 bedrooms - 2 with queen beds and 1 with 1 queen and 1 full bed. - as well as 2 ottomans that make into either a king bed or 2 twin beds. The house also has 2 full bathrooms, and the kitchen can seat 10 people. So I am not sure the reasoning behind the comment that it is best suited for 5-6 people, particularly since the only comment we had from the guest was a note to say that they had a great time. This guest brought 11 people (1 over our 10 person limit). We have had several guests with 8-10 people and no complaints.

Nice stay, perfect location.

My family and I love to visit Morgantown to visit old friends and favorite nostalgic places. This house was the perfect location to visit it all in a short weekend! I wouldn’t call this “upscale” but it was clean and updated in the most important places. We also loved that their was plenty of beds for our family of 5 to each have their own space.

Cindy was available to answer questions before booking our trip. We booked for my niece's Dec. graduation from WVU. The home was perfect for our family. Very convenient to campus area, grocery, and restaurants. The open floor plan was perfect for our family. Cindy's rental was well stocked with anything we may have forgotten. This space made a great space to spend time with family, the bonus was having a fenced in yard for my dog. We had a wonderful weekend!

We were so very impressed with the home and the location! Our family of 9 (including a toddler) felt welcome and right at home. Our host Cindy was great! Can't wait to stay again and have told all of our family and friends in Morgantown to have they guests stay at this great home!

Great WVU location

The house was in a perfect location. The amenities were great and lots to do and see nearby. The house was a great place to visit with our WVU student. Highly recommend and hope to stay again as we will have 3 more years with a student here. Cindy was great and the communication was excellent. Thank you for facilitating a nice weekend.

This property is cute and as described. Not a ton of room but more than enough for the 5 adults in our group. Well-equipped. Owners are easy to deal with and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend.

Even better than expected

We stayed at the property for a WVU football game, and it was absolutely perfect. The place was incredibly clean, and had enough space for 8 of us. I don’t think the pictures or the listing did it justice. We would love to stay here again next time we visit for a game!

Perfect for a football weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at WVU. It was a short walk to the stadium. The house was well stocked and had necessary items available so we didn’t have to purchase. The owner promptly fixed a light issue which was great. I would recommend.

Perfect spot to get together with family

We rented this property because Morgantown is halfway between my parents in Charlotte, NC and my family (2 adults 12yo & 14yo) in Toronto. There was plenty of space and everyone had a bed to sleep in. We were able to play many rounds of Uno and Balderdash in the dining room, make a big pot of chili in the kitchen and watch many hours of football. The house was clean and stocked well with linens and everything needed in the kitchen. We are hoping it's available when we meet up again in the spring!

Loved this spot!

Communication with the host, Cindy, was quick and easy. We wound up bringing a dog which was no problem at all, just a quick form and pet deposit. The house was clean and updated, and really close to the Purple Lot where our group tailgates. I hope this house is available for our future trips!

Fall family weekend

We had 3 families stay here for family weekend at WVU. This property is a great location for football games and being close to the Evansdale campus. Cindy was great to work with always answered any questions right away. Would definitely stay here again!!

Even better than expected

This was so much better than we had hoped for! The place is beautiful and immaculate. We had more than enough room for the six of us . We especially enjoyed the deck and the lovely views. It is so convenient to restaurants. Will definitely try to book again!

Great House!

We couldn't be happier with this great find. Came into town to visit our son who is attending WVU. It was a great location. He is in a dorm and he was able to walk to the house to visit us. Easy parking, easy drive to everything we wanted to do. House was very clean and looks brand new. Beds were comfy and we loved that everything was provided - linens, towels, even coffee!

Excellent location

My daughter is considering attending WVU so we went for a campus/town visitation. This house couldn’t have been better located for us. Much of the campus and transportation system were in walking distance as well as restaurants . The house was clean and comfortable. I hope to stay there again as the renovations are continued. I believe it will be perfect for a football weekend!

We believe this property is the perfect location for parents and alumni enjoying WVU activities, as well as for visiting medical professionals. Very close to the football stadium and convenient to the coliseum and baseball fields, but outside of the student residential areas, so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy!
