About the Home:
Can't explain just how relaxing this cottage is...you feel and hear the presence of Fodder Creek the entire time whether inside the house or not. Large open plan and windows gives you a view of the large creek and rocks. The mountains view in the distance. The large trees shade the cottage and you feel as if you are in a tree-house with the extensive decks and screened porch. The rear yard with its rock and lush vegetation and paths give you a sense of the mountains. “Green, airy and comfortable”

Master Suite /Bedroom on upper floor with a prayer/stretch room, office nook and an outside patio for more relaxing and stretching as well as a Romeo and Juliet balcony to further hear the creek, Second bedroom on main level, 2 Baths, den with children's games, books and TV, open living, dining and kitchen. Spectacular views of Fodder Creek. Fully stocked kitchen : every thing to make any meal you want, stainless steel appliances, gas grill, fir-pit outside, tvs – 2- , internet...Close to Hiawassee, GA, Helen, GA, Hayesville, NC, Franklin, NC, Murphy, NC and Blairsville, GA...close to town.
Professionally cleaned after each stay...Your health and safety are important to us...especially during this time period.

Little house on the hill
Very peaceful. The outside of the house needs pressure washed. The inside needs a spring cleaning for spider webs and yard needs to be cleaned and walkways to the creek needs to be pressure washed. It has a nice screened in sitting area but it was to dirty we didn't get to enjoy that space. Overall it has everything you need for cooking, 2 full baths, the upstairs bedroom is an open space/ loft The driveway is horrible! BUT... It is very peaceful sitting out on deck listening to the creek! When you are inside you feel as if you're in a cabin. Lots of things to do in the surrounding areas The location and the price is great. We enjoyed our stay and the person in charge of the cottage is super nice

Lovely cottage, well stocked with anything you might need. If you’re looking for a get-a-way to relax and enjoy the serenity of a Forrest cottage, this is your place. Owners are extremely nice!

We enjoyed our stay, the house was comfortable and clean. However, the driveway is an adventure. I’m glad that we have a small SUV with All Wheel Drive and can make tight turns. My F250 or Yukon would not have made the turn in.

Relaxing getaway
We had a wonderful long weekend in the mountains. The house was exactly what we were looking for. We did have trouble with the Roku the first night, but the home owner was quick to respond and very helpful. The first night taking showers, the water had a very strong copper smell. I believe that was simply because no one had been there for a month. I do recommend bringing your own pillows, as the pillows provided didn't offer much support. Other than that, everything was wonderful!! We would love to go back!!

Perfect slice of paradise
Great little cabin. Close to several towns, perfect for people who enjoy day trips or just want to hang out at the cabin. It’s literally a 20 minute drive to North Carolina. Super steep driveway so just know that before booking, we drive a Grand Wagoneer and we were able to navigate just fine. Kitchen is well set up for whatever you need and plenty of games and activities for the kids already there. We also brought our own games and enjoyed those while watching DVDs. There’s a great fire pit over looking the creek but it was a little wet during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy that too much. There’s no indoor fireplace in this cabin, but that wasn’t a deal breaker for us. There was absolutely no cell service at the cabin, we have AT&T for a reference and the internet just happened to be out during our stay so we got to literally disconnect and enjoy our family time! Great host and communicated very well before and during our stay. Would recommend for others.

Perfect getaway
This place was simply amazing and exactly what we were looking for for a quiet getaway. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. The place is charming and the creek out back creates the perfect backdrop to be next to a fire and a good book.

Clean, Cozy, and in Great Location
Great location in the North Georgia Mountains- a short drive to several WMA areas for off roading and to Appalacian Trail access. We found great restaurants and shopping close by as well. The cottage was a peaceful and cozy place to unwind after each day's adventure. The cottage was very clean and the furnishing were nicer than we expected and the bed was very comfortable. The owners were easy to communicate with and really cared that we had a great experience. Highly recommend.

Great location
Check in was easy and smooth and check out was also easy. Location is not far from town and only 6 mins away from a well stocked Dollar General. Cabin has all new appliances and we had no issues while staying. There is a road directly across the creek but its not heavily traveled but it is there. No cable but there is a roku for your streaming services. Beds were also comfortable and pillows. Kids enjoyed and would come back.

Cozy Cabin
My family stayed at Cindy’s cabin over the Christmas holiday and had a very nice time, Cindy was so nice to decorate the house for Xmas for us, and her communication was top notch. The cabin was perfect for the four of us and just as described. I would be happy to stay here again! Thank you Cindy for everything!

It was just like the pictures. Everything you need. Beautiful creek in the back yard. We loved it! Only con would be that there were no curtains or blinds on some of the doors which would’ve been nice at night. But we’d stay here again. Beautiful clean place! Manager answers promptly and she was so nice.

A perfect mountain cabin
A perfect mountain cabin! We absolutely loved the stay. We visited Helen, Dahlonega, and Hiawassee. My wife and I enjoyed the porch listening to the creek. Never even turn the television on. Hope to stay again in the future!

Anniversary trip getaway
My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The cabin was perfect for a couple! If you were staying with more than two, there might be some minor privacy issues as the king bed is in an open loft area. Also, the downstairs bathroom has a barn door that leaves quite a gap opening. The cabin itself was very clean and nice and we loved the decor and being right on the beautiful creek!

Great Package!
Probably the best equipped place I’ve stayed with items like toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags etc that are usually required to purchase when arriving. This was not far from town and we enjoyed our stay.

Great spot in a beautiful area. I had everything I needed and the two bags of ice were a nice touch. I had everything I needed to cook two meals and even use the grill. Thanks Cindy!

Fantastic
The cabin and property was just as it was described and pictured. Very clean and comfortable. My husband and two teenagers loved exploring in the creek behind the cabin. Cindy, the owner, was very easy to contact and responded quickly. It was a beautiful area to visit in the Georgia mountains.

Just what we were looking for!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday! The space was ideal for my husband and I, along with our 16 and 5 year old children. We caught a trout on the first cast when we arrived! There are also many great trails, rivers, and lakes within a short drive. Cindy is easy to communicate with and very helpful.
