Great place to stay for solo travel/work. I stayed while working in Greensboro for the week and it was a great location, super close to multiple restaurants & so great for shorter stays.
I stay at this place and saw a bed bug on the bed. I informed the host and they were not happy and âcall bsâ . The placed smelled like stale weed smoke and not as updated at the pictures show.
Host was very easy to communicate with and replied very promptly from beginning to end. Even left iron and hairdryer for us upon request. Enjoyed being within walking distance of the downtown greenway. Bed was comfy. There was a bit of a smokey smell but the host did everything he could to make us comfortable. Cleanliness could be a bit better but fair for the price.
Upon arrival there were a few red flags with someone seemingly casing us from a cracked door. Apartment smelled strongly of marijuana. Dead bugs in windows, blinds nasty, bed nasty, sink nasty. Broken pieces of the bathroom door in floor. The adjoining apartment had its window busted out and there is a door that connects the 2 apartments on the inside. Was a very unsafe environment to the point we left and did not stay and have not heard from the host. I would not suggest staying here.
I came with my 12 year old daughter for a girlsâ getaway and didnât feel safe in the neighborhood or apt. The feel I got when entering compelled me to look for bed bugs (there werenât any). The carpets were dingy and the fact that there are adjoining doors to the apt next door made me feel very uneasy. As mentioned previously it smells strongly of marijuana which I think comes from the downstairs neighbor. We were supposed to stay two nights but didnât feel safe or comfortable so booked a hotel instead and left immediately. The owner did not refund us one night let alone two nights despite us not staying. All around bad experience. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere or just booking a hotel.
Scott was communicative. There was an issue at the listing we booked and he upgraded us to a very nice property not too much further away. The space was nice.
In the Fisher Park area. Simple 1 bedroom facility. I would recommend to the owner to upgrade the Futon Cushion, the sofa pad was so thin, i could not sit comfortably on the sofa itself, other than that, all was fine.
The positives are the location. It's a reasonable and easy walk to downtown. The apartment is very adequate space, easy parking and it was quiet. There were a lot of little things we noticed such as a pan that should clearly be thrown out. The shag carpet would benefit from a thorough cleaning; maybe some upgraded bedding, but the price was right and it was a nice stay. Scott is very attentive and puncutal. We asked for additional bedding and it was delivered right away.
Good property and location. Would've liked a broom and dust pan to clean kitchen after cooking. Also , there's no fire extinguisher in the unit. Only 1 extinguisher in main entrance shared by 3 other units.
Pros: the host was very responsive and allowed us to check in early. Very close to wedding venue we were going to. Good price
Cons: The entire apartment was very run down and smelled very strongly like weed. Someone had obviously been smoking inside as the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. The sheets and bathtub were clean but everything else just seemed dirty. Overall probably wouldnât stay here again.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this home. Located at the northern edge of Downtown Greensboro, the apartment is a simple one bedroom place with most anything one would need. We stayed for a week while doing house-hunting for a job relocation, and we found little to complain about.
This definitely has the feel of a rental - mismatch furnishings and decor, no "extra" touches like handsoap, etc.
Location is great - we walked to a neighborhood brewery and market. Host was very responsive to messages.
Located in nice area that provides easy access to all Greensboro location. We used as a base for a weekend trip. Scott was very responsive and courteous.
The place was nice overall. Scott is a fast responder. We needed iron and table and he make it happen fast. Yes, it might need a deep cleanning, but other than that, is a great stay for the price. We were in for the Jr Olympics and it was a fast ride to the BB&T stadium. We have no complaints. Definitelly would recomend.
Place was clean but dated shower dose not work properly and toilet was loose
even though I booked for 3 people there was no blanket for the sofa bed or enough towels they did bring sheets and a blanket the next morning but my son had to sleep without covers for the first night
The decor is very dated
The glasses and dishes donât match
The bed was very spongey not firm
Over all the place was clean
