The hosts were really great communicators, responsive and helpful; they were also very accommodating. Convenient location, quiet room, nice decor and comfy bed. Parking is tricky and not for the faint of heart, but still manageable. Overall, I would highly recommend this stay!

I had a great stay at this VRBO in Charleston. The place was very clean, quiet, and well maintained. The location was perfect — walking distance to restaurants, bars, and everything I wanted to do, while still being peaceful and relaxing at night. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston.

Property was just as pictures depicted. The location was good walked to many spots and felt very safe. Room was quite, was unsure it would be as you are pretty close to freeway. Everyone was very nice and willing to help with any questions. Parking situation was a little confusing at first but there was someone there to help and show you how to proceed. Excellent.

I stay in Charleston quite often and this is my favorite rental so far! The space was clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. I loved that it was pet friendly. The pool was a great place to spend an afternoon. It is walkable to Upper King and all of the bars and restaurants you could want to visit. Communication and service was above and beyond. I cannot recommend this space enough.

Really great neighborhood within short walking distance of so many amazing coffee shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Weekend away

This was a nice property for a weekend away. Had all the amenities to take care of basic needs. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed being close to restaurants and shopping. We did not need a car, could walk or get an Uber/lift. We would recommend this property.

Excellent experience

The room was clean and the amenities were great! My friend and I stayed there for a few nights, and I slept on the pull out couch, which was very comfortable. The location is walking distance to king street, but I would definitely take an Uber or use the DASH bus system to go further downtown! Highly recommend staying here!

The Iris is located in the ‘Cannonborough-Elliotborough’ neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is the most upcoming neighborhood on the peninsula with new businesses opening on every corner. The oldest part of Charleston is a few block area where the first City walls were and it is located in what is now called the French Quarter. This is typically what people are referring to when they refer to the "tourist area". There are no Short Term Rentals in the French Quarter due to city zoning laws. All of our properties are located in the Old City District and 1 block from King Street where almost all of the shopping, new restaurants, and bars are located. We would love to welcome you back to Charleston in the future!

Perfect location in the Holy City

A perfect location to enjoy Charleston. Place was clean and had a washer and dryer which was huge! Perfect for 2 people, it’s cozy but we still had plenty of room. Biggest complaint is if you are used to a king size bed it’s only a queen. Would highly recommend.

Very good experience

Everything was good. Using the parking Ferris wheel is a learning experience but it works. Unit was clean and handy. I converted the TVs from Italian to English and never did find local stations. Also wish we had Kleenex/tissues. We called with questions a couple times had got prompt cheerful responses. Very well run establishment.
