Luxury Remote Cabin for Cherry Springs Dark Skies
🌌 Moonraker 10 Your Private Stargazing Retreat in the Pennsylvania Wilds
(We open up 3 more bedrooms and a full bath for you)
Far from the noise and lights of the city, Moonraker is where the night sky comes alive. Nestled deep in the forests of Potter County, this ultra-private log cabin sits beside its own 8-acre stargazing field—a front-row seat to the Milky Way, meteor showers, and the dazzling canopy of stars that make nearby Cherry Springs State Park famous.
Whether you’re here for a romantic escape, a family adventure, or a friends’ getaway, Moonraker offers space, comfort, and unforgettable views. The cabin sleeps up to 14 guests with 6 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, a spacious great room for gathering, and a wraparound porch perfect for morning coffee or evening wine beneath the stars.
Inside:
Fully equipped kitchen for shared meals
Foosball, bubble hockey, and pool table for nights of fun
1 Gig high-speed internet for streaming or remote work (if you must)
Cozy dining and living areas designed for connection and comfort
Outside:
Private 8-acre stargazing field—no crowds, no distractions, just you and the cosmos
Miles of hiking trails right from the cabin’s back door
Access to 13,000+ acres of State Forest land for endless outdoor exploration
We love helping guests make the most of their stay:
Private guided star tours with local astronomers
Horseback riding at nearby stables
ATV and side-by-side rentals for off-road adventures
Local gems like Rainbow Paradise Trout Farm
Day trips to the PA Grand Canyon, Kinzua Bridge Skywalk, Austin Dam, and the Pennsylvania Elk Herd
Important to know: The road to Moonraker is a rugged dirt path—passable, but best suited for SUVs or trucks. Please drive slowly and enjoy the journey; the privacy at the end of the road is worth it.
Why Moonraker?
Because here, the night sky is more than something you see—it’s something you feel. You’ll laugh around the firepit, spot constellations with the kids, toast marshmallows with friends, and share quiet, meaningful moments with someone special under a galaxy of stars.
📅 2-night minimum (occasional single nights available—just ask).
