**Pets Stay For Free - Max 2** Alexander's Great Escape is the perfect getaway for couples or small families. This property is one of a kind. Secluded, peaceful setting and only 15 minutes to Beavers Bend and Hochatown!
We loved everything about this place. My kids loved having bunk beds to sleep in. The beds were very comfortable. It was so nice to have a full kitchen with a dishwasher. The sunlight coming through made this place feel like home. We will definitely be back.
If youâre looking for a place to getaway from the chaos this is it! Tiny beautiful house away from everything just enjoy the scenery and get closer together.
Our stay was great. The space was perfect for my husband and I and our dogs. We loved the open land and all the space! About 20 mins from restaurants and Beavers Bend. Perfect location away from the city but close enough to drive in. The hosts are amazing and were available when needed.
We are very pleased staying at this property. Great communication from property manager, friendly welcome committee (Alex and Sadie, mainly). We will miss this place. Thank you for a great experience.
The tiny house was exactly as described and what we expected. We were looking for peace and quiet and solitude and this was perfect. The greeting party came and we enjoyed them totally. Would recommend to any one that is looking to get away from it all, you found it right here.
My daughter and her family came up one night to celebrate my grandson's birthday. OMG we had so much fun. Made new friends; Alex, Sven, Jake 3 legs. This is my new get away. Exactly what was described. No hmisconceptions. legs that
Perfect cabin for a much needed stress free, peaceful getaway!!! Close enough to attractions and far enough also which makes it just right!! It is car accessible but the road in is dirt and gravel so maybe a truck or suv wouldâve been better. Cabin is quaint, clean, and host very easy to contact if need. If looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the sounds and sight of nature then look no farther!!
My husband and I came here for a little gateway and anniversary celebration.. Beautifully decorated little house with plenty of space. We enjoyed having coffee by the fire outside every morning and cocktails in the evening .. scenery was beautiful ! Bonus was having 2 precious little dogs Alexander and Sassy , known as the â Welcoming committee â
We stayed here for 3 nights with a 2 year old, a 16 year and 2 adults. We DID NOT feel cramped whatsoever! The tiny home has everything to cook meals (I made breakfast everyday and cooked lunch/dinner about 5 times total). This tiny home was everything we were hoping for and more! Not to mention it sits on a beautiful property. We will miss Sadie and Alex! Thank you for the great experience.
We took a 3 generations boys adventure to Beaver Bend. My boy had the best time at Alexanderâs Great Escape! It was tucked away from all the noise. Fireflies at night, a peaceful pond stocked with vibrant Bluegill, and a fantastic clean cabin made our experience one to remember. My boy had an amazing time and Grandpa had his priceless grandson moments. Highly recommended.
My wife and I had an amazing time! We enjoyed building a fire and toasting marshmallows for sâmores. We were greeted by Sadie, a small but energetic pup, when we would arrive back to the cabin. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is ready with full sized appliances. Internet is provided as well as a smart TV in the bedroom. We were able to relax and enjoy nature and the wildlife. It was just what we needed.
We were very impressed with this property and would stay again.
Alexander's Great Escape is a cozy cottage nestled among bucolic surroundings. You won't see a lot of other humans here, but the local pups and neighboring cattle are sure to make an appearance. Holly and Riggs are delightful and accommodating hosts who will help you feel right at home.
We visited for the April 8 eclipse, so we paid higher than the typical rate, but nothing outrageous. It was absolutely worth every penny. We could not have asked for a better place to experience this amazing event.
We will certainly return when there's a little less excitement in town!
The tiny home was decorated nicely and so cute! Its situated so that you can see a nice big field in front of you and has a fire pit and chairs to sit around which was handy with the nice weather. Keep in mind there is no TV in the living room which meant we all had to pile up in the bedroom to watch in the evening but with a tiny home, you have to sacrifice with space limitations.
The owners are very nice and helpful. They have 5 dogs who are mostly all very friendly and love the pets! This is a pet friendly place but if you have a pet (like we did) who is very leery of smaller dogs, you will want to keep it on a leash as they do have a small dog who likes to escape and greet you! ;)
One of the good things about the place is that its about 25 minutes from the main strip of town so for those who want to feel truly out in nature, this is a great place! Its easy to go in for a meal or to hike at the park but far enough away to feel immersed in nature. My son loved playing with the neighbor pups who came to greet us!
I would recommend it especially for a couple or small family.
Our family of four and doodle had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and was supplied with all the basic things you would need. Great location and loved the peaceful nights under the stars around the campfire. The owner had great communication with us during our stay. The neighbor down the driveway has 4 dogs, we referred to them as the wolf pack, although very welcoming and friendly dogs they were a bit much at times when our doodle was outside as they were unsure of our dog. Definitely a home we will return to again when we return to the area.
We loved every second of being here. Itâs 15 minutes from shopping and getting something to eat. But we loved cooking here and just being away from all the busyness. The bonus was their sweet dogs that greeted us every time we went outside.
New cabin, well kept and clean, great for small trip. Open land outside and glad owner kept dogs locked away, only issue is dirt road getting to house can get muddy bur overall nice!
This was our first stay in a tiny home and we loved everything! The location is beautiful and the home feels new and updated. Not cramped at all and would recommend to anyone!
Highly recommend Alexanderâs Great Escape! This was the perfect getaway for our family of 4 + little furball! The location was convenient to Pruettâs and Wal-Mart for all essentials as well as to Hochatown for restaurants and the touristy side of things. The tiny home was clean and very well stocked. The beds were comfy (and the bunk beds have enough height that no one was hitting their heads like they have at other vacation rentals). We enjoyed sâmores over the campfire each night and really appreciated wood being ready and available for use. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful! The pup âwelcoming committeeâ was also a special treat when arriving back at the property every day! The kids miss Sadie Sue and Alexander already⊠we will be sure to be back!
