Historic Southern Utah Cottage- 20 miles to Zion National Park

This historical property has been updated from the inside out. Built in 1904 by the Wilson family, one of the very first families to settle LaVerkin. It is one of the oldest Pioneer homes in all of Southern Utah.

This one bedroom, one bath structure is a combination of adobe brick and stick frame construction. The outside of the building has been left primarily untouched to maintain its historical integrity but has been updated inside to accommodate the modern traveler.

*Please note our weather is similar Las Vegas Nevada, not Northern Utah. We have such amazing weather to come and experience the great Zion National Park!! (July and August ARE hot- But Zion has water hikes!)

Very enjoyable stay, comfortable and well equipped. A little further away from Zion than expected but the drive there was great and it was nice to get away from the crowds in Zion. I would stay there again.

What a wonderful place to stay! This was our home base for Zion and Bryce Canyon, and it was perfect. Quaint, charming, comfortable. The property is well taken care of. The owners are great and the communication was ideal. We definitely recommend this homestead to any couple looking for a quiet getaway.

Cozy !

Second Time weve stayed its perfect location for our backpacking adventures into Bryce amd Zion we even ventured the trek to capitol reef needless to say this place fits our need and I was able to give a amazing Birthday to my Partner. Would stay here anytime. Place is clean and cozy has everything you need.

AMAZING

Hands down the best experience I've had out of anywhere I've ever stayed. Liz is an amazing host. I told her I was bringing my girlfriend to Zion to propose and she not only gave me a list of amazing locations, while we were gone she decorated for me to surprise my now fiance. This litte house is quiet, private, clean, and up to date. Cant wait to stay here again.

Cute, Quiet, and Comfortable!

This was our home base for our four-day trip to Zion. The location was extremely convenient when we needed to head back to the cabin, which was equipped with AC and was perfect to escape the heat.The kitchen was perfect for making our own meals and was stocked with all the basic pots/dishes/paper towel you need. We shopped for groceries at Lin's in Hurricane, which was a much closer commute than we expected.The interior of the cabin was very comfortable and had a great porch view of a mountain. The bathroom was gorgeous and stocked with complimentary shampoo, soap, and conditioner.We recommend this place to anyone staying in the area, especially if traveling to Zion! We would love to stay here again someday.

Cute little cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely historic cabin. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed, including being able to cook meals, and do a load of laundry. Such a great place, beautifully decorated and set up! Plenty of parking room for the Harley trailer and truck! Our home base for the National parks in the area! Comfy bed!

Cozy Cottage

The perfect little place for our 4-night stay! Small, cozy and so cutely decorated. It is conveniently located close to Zion National Park but yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The view of the mountain never gets old! Will definitely stay again when we make it back to Utah.

What a fantastic spot

Beautiful, cozy little cabin in the quaint town of La Verkin, minutes from so much adventure. Cabins n was very up to date. Comfortable bed. The front porch and view were wonderful. Will definitely be returning.

Such a sweet place

This cabin is clean, comfortable and easy to call home for a few days. We loved it. I especially enjoyed looking at the quality of the restoration and preservation of the original elements and the quality of the modern elements. Really well done. A great place to relax after long hikes at Zion and Bryce.

Absolutely loved this cabin. So so charming. Every detail delightful. Loved having a glass of wine on the beautiful deck in those wonderful rocking chairs after a day of hiking. Location so close to amazing hikes and trails. I would truly recommend this one of a kind spot to anyone traveling in this area. Loved it!!

What a beautiful and welcoming place! Our hosts obviously care about the property. Lovely touches to design, little details that helped make our stay comfortable. Home away from home!

After a long day out, it was refreshing to return to this cozy house. All the modern conveniences of home and a walk-in shower. It was very noticeable that the host maintained the property. It was very clean. The kitchen was well equiped. We would definitely recommend this VRBO and plan on returning here again!
